Yes, I needed two years to work my way through the many suggestions of where to sketch people, what materials to try, and so many other suggestions to keep learning.

A handy introduction to sketching people quickly using different techniques and media. Scully gives quick tips for sizing up a face, a body, gestures, crowds. I particularly liked (and used) his suggestion to trace or draw over people in magazines to get used to drawing proportionate bodies, sometime in motion. That being said, it takes an awful lot of practice to draw quickly and to capture a likeness or the essence of your subject. #artgoals

Definitely lots of tips in here, but nothing really instructional. You need to have foundational drawing knowledge/skills in order to best appreciate this book.
