**This is the third book in the My Favorite Mistake series and takes place after the events in My Sweetest Escape. It is a New Adult Contemporary Romance and not suitable for those under 17 years of age*
Chelsea M. Cameron is a New York Times/USA Today/Internationally Best Selling author from Maine who now lives and works in Boston. She's a red velvet cake enthusiast, obsessive tea drinker, former cheerleader, and world's worst video gamer. When not writing, she enjoys watching infomercials, eating brunch in bed, tweeting, and playing fetch with her cat, Sassenach. She has a degree in journalism from the University of Maine, Orono that she promptly abandoned to write about the people in her own head. More often than not, these people turn out to be just as weird as she is.
This was a nice reading going back to one of my fav books and couples too!
"My favorite Mistake" was one of my first books that allured me to reading! I loved the story and the characters but I must say Hunter was THE BEST!!! I loved him so much and I was so sad for what he had been through.
In this book we see again the gang living in the same house and enjoying life and friendship with some new additions too. The book is an easy reading with everyday problems, work and studies.
Hunter and Taylor were going strong and engaged now. They were still crazy for each other and their connection was even better now! Hunter was so damn in love with Taylor and was ready to do anything for her and her happiness, not caring for himself.
He was the best boyfriend and fiancee you can possible ask for!!!
Now, as much as I enjoyed this book and the chance to me this couple and their friends again and have some fun with them, I found that I had some issues especially with Taylor. So I liked her and her sassy in "My favorite Mistake" but I though that after a year she would have been more mature and deserving of Hunter...Because let's face it, she didn't love him as much as he did or at least that's what her attitude showed us. She acted like a brat and that hadn't changed here either. She didn't appreciate what he was doing for her or when she did there was always a comment or something to not give him full credit! I didn't like that or when she acted like a bitch just because she could and Hunter would never tell her she was unfair or hurt her feelings. 4 stars only for my Hunter and his amazing heart and love he had for her. I have to admit though that she did some stuff to prove her love to him, but in comparison to Hunter it was lucking...
Our favorites days de Chelsea M Cameron libro 3 serie My Favorite mistake
Ahhh, this was such a sweet book, I'm in love again with Taylor and Hunter! *-* After reading the first book, I couldn't imagine another one for them because that ending was really cute and didn't leave anything for imagination but after reading Jos' book, this third one made perfect sense and it just fitted perfectly with the rest of the series. In this book, we see Taylor and Hunter a lot more mature, even more in love and ready for life. After unexpected news, things will change and it was the thing that could break or make them forever. And I just have to say it was an adventure to follow these two again and to be into their lives again, it was amazing! I love this couple so much, it's one of my favorite book couples ever.
A couple of things that I think would've been perfect here were that Tawny and Sarah (?) (Hunter's friend) would've been a perfect couple. Also, I've liked to see more about Jos' friend, Hannah. I loved her in the previous book and I was curious if she ended up with that guy that I now forgot his name.
But, nevertheless, it was a perfect finale for this amazing couple! <3
I loved "Our Favorite Mistake" but I did not like this book at all. It felt like this was written by a ghost writer. The story didn't flow, the characters starting acting differently (all of a sudden everyone was swearing when there hadn't been any swearing), and the word "just" was overused a lot.
I stopped counting after 60 but kept them all highlighted along the way. I could tell by that word, that this was not written by Ms Cameron. Example: "Being without her was just...wrong." "I just...I want you to be my wife." "I just...I wanted to talk to you. You can just call me back if you're in the middle of something." You don't have to throw that word around. Get to the point!
The 'surprise' wasn't that at all. I figured it out before it was an issue. And because of the surprise, Taylor was more bitchy than usual. You can blame it on emotions and hormones all you want, but she was being rude and inconsiderate. Also, I love how she told everyone the surprise before she actually confirmed it with a dr. Oops, spoiler alert.
Remember from "Our Favorite Mistake" how Taylor said she didn't want Hunter buying her anything and that she would contribute to the whole house and bills thing? Well, apparently that went out the window in this book. She wants to elope in Vegas so she makes him book the plane tickets, get a hotel room, pay for the wedding chapel, just (haha, see what I did there?) to say she got cold feet and actually doesn't want to elope. Then on the way back home, she's too tired to travel (she's not driving), so she makes Hunter get another hotel room. Btw, by this time in the book we don't even know how many hours she's working. So I know it was Hunter footing the bill on everything. And I know he's rich, he loves her, etc. but she seemed too demanding and ungrateful. I miss the old Taylor.
Ms Cameron's writing has been off lately (I started 'Back to Back' over a year ago and can't seem to finish it) and I don't know why. Taylor and Hunter were so different in this book and I didn't like it. I know their lives are changing but that's not an excuse. I don't know if I'll read any more books by this author. Her books were great at the beginning but they've slacked off in creativity lately and I'd rather not spend my money on something like this. This is the 3rd book in a row from her I haven't liked so....maybe I'll just (haha) keep my money.
I've wanted this book the moment I finished My Favorite Mistake. I'm so glad to have been able to read more of Hunter and Taylor as well as the rest of the crew. Five fabulous stars.
I was so so excited when I started this book since I loved My Favorite Mistake to death. Though sadly it had one of the plot points that I really, really hate and so I couldn´t enjoy Taylor & Hunter´s story as much as I wanted to. But besides this I enjoyed it so much to read from their perspective again and see how their life turned out after the first book. The writing was as good as ever and I couldn´t put the book down. So even though I was a bit disappointed with the storyline it was still an amazing read.
Taylor and Hunter are in their groove with school, working together at the library and living with their friends. Hunter wants to get married and Taylor has major cold feet. Hunter starts having nightmares in earnest about his mother dying and Taylor suggests he see a counselor and possibly return home to get some closure. Taylor still acted a bit immature at times. When life throws them a curve ball, Taylor does not react well at all. Hunter was ready for whatever life threw at them while Taylor acted like a brat at times. I don't think she would have been okay if Hunter would have freaked out at the last minute over an idea she readily agreed to and claimed she wanted. Hunter took her bad moods, selfish behavior and all around self-pity in stride and didn't let it get him down. It was nice to see Taylor finally figure out what was important and do her best to make it happen. It was pretty cocky of her to decide her "surprise" was okay since he would have let her have it the way she wanted anyway and left a bad taste in my mouth about her. Overall a good book and a good ending for these two. It was a long time coming.
When I first heard that Cameron had written another book about Taylor, Hunter and the entire gang, I was ecstatic. I had loved the first book in the series and even though I had DNF-ed the second, I was quite sure that revisiting this super sweet and sometimes over-the-top NA would be a pleasant read.
Unfortunately, this book does not have a reason to exist. I am all for happy-happy books that are basically more like epilogues that real novels, but you still need to give it that extra something that will set it apart from an extended epilogue. A plot, for example, would have been nice.
***SPOILERS AHEAD***
In this case, the entire book is based on Hunter wanting to marry Taylor and Taylor being uncertain about it. The first half of the book can literally be summarized in this short dialogue.
Hunter: Marry me. Taylor: I will, but not now. Hunter: But I love you, why not? Taylor: *gets moody, sad, yada yada*. Hunter: I'm so sorry baby for pressuring you. Never mind.
Rinse. And. Repeat.
The lack of communication is the only thing propelling this book forward.
And then we get spoiler number two. Can you guess it people? Lol. everyone probably guessed it at the word "marriage". But anyway, surprise! Taylor gets pregnant.
I have to say that I was glad this all happened to steer away from the whole wedding drama, which had gotten old very fast, but Taylor's character being what it is, even the baby news only served as drama injection.
I literally read this book not even a month ago and it was so unmemorable I am struggling to remember parts of it. What I remember was that Hunter, thank Satan, was very understanding and finally we see a hero who is on board with the "my body, my choice" policy. He was very sweet to Taylor, who instead was so wishy washy and moody the entire book it left me uneasy. I was kind of annoyed with her.
Considering the type of book, honestly, it would have been nice to see a little bit of the baby. since this novel is basically an extended epilogue about the wedding and pregnancy, seeing the actual spawn would have been appreciated, like a couple years down the line or so.
I think what really got me frustrated was Taylor's complete change of heart on marrying Hunter, like, right the hell now. She basically orchestrates this elaborate wedding when she is already super pregnant, without him knowning. It sounds pretty cool on paper, but the sad reality is that her change of heart was inexplicable and too sudden and that once I got to that point in the book, I just wanted it to be over.
Overall, this book was flat, overly emotional at times, but without conveying it to the reader, and other times just full of meaningless back and forth which made it predictable and unenjoyable. Given how this is the second book by this author that I end up disliking out of three, I decided that I will forever cherish my memories of the first book for the little guilty-pleasure gem it is, and forego future instalments in the series.
Our Favorite Days is the conclusion to Taylor’s and Hunter’s story. The book was equally captivating as the first one and it was tough the say goodbye to the entire crew. Our Favorite Days really helped me curb my Taylor and Hunter withdrawals. It has a much lighter tone than the previous novel and tons of hilarious moments.
Taylor and Hunter have finally gotten their HEA. But there is still challenges lingering. I love how Cameron realistically portrayed the issues they have and managed to make the plot move. The entire romance in this novel was plain beautiful. I really loved seeing Taylor and Hunter truly happy. There was a decent amount of steam. I loved how the smexy times added a sweet flare to the book. Also, the cheesy lines were really nice. I loved how the two characters were really open.
My most favorite thing about this novel is the real issues of Taylor and Hunter face. I love how the novel addresses the issues of relationships, death, and family realistically. There is no sugar coating. Through the characters, I truly got to feel there sadness, anger, and happiness. When I get to feel, it means that I was completed engrossed.
All in all, this is a beautiful conclusion to Taylor and Hunter’s story. I love reading every minute of it. They finally get their HEA and the two truly deserve it. I highly recommend this NA romance to anyone looking for a story that has all the feels.

I can't put into words how much I loved it. I read the first book a few years ago (around 2013) and tbh I have grown quite attached to these characters by now. I just discovered there was a third book a couple days ago but this is 100% the closure this story deserved. I love it, more than the stars.
I just love Hunter and Taylor, MFM was one of the first YA books I read and as such will always have a special place in my heart. It was nice to revisit, but I'm not sure if this book adds anything to the series. Still it was an immediate one click fir me!
Yay I finally got to finish this series. I loved being back with Hunter and Taylor plus the very large cast of secondary characters. I love being with this group because you get more than just the mains you get the whole family. Sometimes I'm hesitant about a sequel because you spend the whole first book waiting for the couple to finally get it together and then the sequel comes around and drops them down a peg WELL THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. I like it when it is them against the world. They stayed true to each other and worked through the drama together. I really like seeing that in my stories. Sometimes the drama can be too much but this was a sweet easy read and I just felt light hearted and happy. Granted they did have their downs in this story but them working on it together just filled me with joy. I love where this book went, and how Taylor took the ride to get there. It is sad to see this group going away but it ended on a positive note and I just smiled. I really feel like the author tied up each couple where you just feel good. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
