Final Countdown is an edgy and quirky dark 'comedy about two 'down on their luck traveling 'salesmen whose attempts to get ahead in New Normal America go hilariously wrong when 'their 'counterfeit Mexican-made food blenders' go accidentally and murderously haywire.... Episode 1's time-bending, hallucinatory interludes signal more thrills to come' as we end up at the inciting moment where the two protagonists plan their momentous meeting with gangster-profiteer and border hopper Johnny W.' No spoilers can be told...because the episode comes to a tantalizing conclusion at that very moment! '(The only reason I give the book 4 stars) A solid start 'though 'to what promises to be an intriguing series', definitely worth looking out for part two and beyond. - Felicehow
