this was a great book although fiction, it hold true to a lot of women and men. I even she'd some tears. Eva never deserved to go through what she did with Walter but I'm so thankful Jane came forward as her witness and even had recorded the beatings. it's sad that some men feel they have to put their hands on women or verbally abuse women to make them feel like a man and vice versa women do the same thing too. but this was a great book and I suggest this to anyone wanting to read a good non sex filled book. I LOVED EVERY PAGE and even had flashbacks of my own abuse.
I really enjoyed this story. Some parts made me mad though. This book was about domestic violence. When a woman gets fed up she has her option. I commend Lacey for being there for EvA. I really could have slapped the mess out of Chrissy though. This author has come a long way with her writing skills. I only gave it four stars for grammatical words throughout the book because I had to re-read to Get a clear understanding of what she was saying.
This book was very emotional. No woman should have to go through what Eva went through. Walter was a coward and he got what he deserved. I'm happy Eva got her happy ending after that ordeal.
Thank you so much for writing this story. I recommended this book to a family member who was in a similar situation. This has opened her eyes tremendously. Thank you for sharing this very important story.
That was a very harsh reality of what goes on behind closed doors. The story was great. Not to rushed it flooded smoothly.... tell someone don't sit by and get hurt
This book had me in tears. This book was good from the beginning to the. I'm glad she got her happy ending. I would recommend this book to everyone that has been abused. Good job Saundra.
