I chose this book because I wanted more information on self-publishing children's books, but the book did not give the information I needed. It was short, and it was nothing I could not have found on the internet for free. It is not worth $1.99 I spent.
If you're looking for a helpful guide that will encourage confidence and also provide practical information about self- or indie publishing, Knight's book will serve you well. There are kick-start ideas to move you into writing and writing well, clearly, insightfully. There are suggested indie companies to consider for publication of your book. There are common problems and issues that might deter you along the way. There's advice on how to face and overcome difficulties while engaged in the writing process. Ultimately, there's a great deal of respect for your audience of readers: children. Read on.
