The book of Daniel demonstrates the glorious wisdom and unmatched power of God at work in his people. It shows that in spite of difficulties, confusion, and persecution, God is in control and that he will deliver his people as he has promised. Through dreams and visions given to Daniel—not fully understood in their own day—God reveals that his sovereign rule will continue until the end, when all of his purposes are fulfilled. Definitely the most difficult in this series that I've read- because it's studying prophecy, and prophecy is challenging! But, I thought the author did an excellent job first explaining and then reiterating what to expect when the Antichrist comes and then Christ's return. I was greatly encouraged in the last chapter of the book- not only because I made it through the entire study of Daniel, but because I felt better prepared and more knowledgeable of how to recognize end times and the Antichrist. As Christians, we have hope- when the Antichrist comes, we know because of the book of Daniel and Revelation, that though it will be the hardest for us on earth than it has ever been, Christ will return in 3.5 years from the start of the Antichrist's reign. And then we will be taken up with Christ to live in eternity. No more sorrow. No more suffering. No more pain. Just experiencing the eternal gift God has prepared for us, a gift we can only dream about now, but will one day live in its reality! That's hope.

A very educational and informative look into the book of Daniel and biblical prophecy. I however read it cover to cover like a novel and I would not do that again. I believe this will be a book I refer back to in preparation and study more like a textbook. I will be referencing chapters when they are relevant to my Bible studies.
