Wil is an Irish dancer, the epitome of grace and endurance. Danny's a caber-tosser, with the upper body strength of an ox. Both of them are Gaelic to the core, with tempers and tastes to match. After a bad breakup, Wil comes across his old lover at the annual Highland Games. Can Wil and Danny strike a balance between love and lies, or will they again fail to listen to the other, when it comes to matters of the heart?
Lynn Townsend is a displaced Yankee, a mother, a writer, a dreamer, and the proud owner of a small black hole residing under her desk that tends to eat kittens, odd socks, staplers, and her car keys.
Enjoyable story of an ex-couple that split over money and extenuating circumstances, but both realize they are still in love. What better way, then, to break free of the frustration of anger, the sense of betrayal, then to have it thrust upon you. When both Wil and Danny find each other at the same event, they are forced to talk through their situation and understand each other's reasons if either of them are to move on, together or apart. And _that_ I won't reveal. :)
This contemporary story was a lovely tale of forgiveness. Finding Balance made a great addition to the Riverdance anthology, because it was the only piece not to involve magic, creating a nice contrast with the other stories. 3.5 stars
