Updated in January 2022. "SharePoint Online from Scratch" gives hands-on instructions on how to practically make use of a SharePoint tenant or parts thereof. The book is intended for (future) SharePoint admins and other power users. It is almost entirely no-code.

Even if "SharePoint Online from Scratch" primarily is a handbook, explanations on how SharePoint works are mixed into the instructions. SharePoint Online is an ever changing platform, so the author's aim is to give a deeper understanding of how to take advantage of SharePoint at the same time as giving practical advice.

"SharePoint Online from Scratch" covers best practices, admin settings and security and includes changes in SharePoint Online up to and including January 2022.

Good study for new users

Thank you authors to try combining text with demonstrating videos, is really help to clear not always understand technical terms for user, not a IT professional. Definitely, re-read and re-watch some section more related to my goal as is a first book to study.

Good overview

Good overview of SharePoint, with some excellent explanations. The going back and forth with the classic vs modern layouts became a little much.
