(Author’s This story is at a special intro price! Enjoy!) LEGALLY BINDING (Lawyers Behaving Badly #1) is a steamy office menage BDSM novella of 25,000 words. Maisie can’t hide her shock the first time she sees Ethan Brennbach’s scarred, mask-like face. Ethan. Gorgeous except for… yeah. Ethan, her new boss. He’s not impressed by her lack of tact. Neither are Raphael Lattimore and Trent Banno, the handsome partners at the prestigious LB&B law firm, where gossiping about Ethan’s appearance is grounds for termination. The whole office is brimming with secrets, some downright dangerous. Soon the secrets include Maisie herself, the illegal activities she discovers… ...And the filthy things all three of her dominant bosses expect of her.
If Cleo isn't writing (or reading!) erotica, she's probably sitting on her balcony, watching the wind blow through the trees. She loves snowstorms, horses, and piña coladas. If she won the lottery, she would hire an assistant to take care of the technical side of e-publishing so that she could write all day.
Some random facts about Cleo: 1. Thinks life's too short to forgo HEAs and HFNs. 2. Sprained an ankle joining the mile-high club. (Never again!) 3. Favorite writers include Cormac McCarthy, Junot Diaz and Rachel Caine. 4. Gets weak-kneed for bookish guys who know how to fix things with their hands. *swoons*
"story"?! what "STORY"??! it was literally her going to work, and screwing the bosses who didn't even appreciate what they had and treated her like just another piece of ass in a long line of pieces of ass. there was no romantic connection, no mental, passionate, or ANY connection really. I have no idea why she absolutely "loved" everything they did so much because the sex scenes weren't even good either! soo.. no story, shitty sex scenes, and it just... ended. that's it. they had sex in the office, she got in a cab to go home, the end. no telling what happened with their relationship, or closing the "story" out, nothing. I literally kept reading, and reading... waiting for something to happen.. and was baffled when I realized it was the end, and I wasted all that time on it. and LET ME TELL YOU. I LOVE books with almost all sex and very little story. and I STILL could not even force myself to like this. if you're going to forgo the story for sex, at least make it GREAT sex!
At first this one was a little slow getting to the point, but once it got there it went there. Although her bosses come off as complete assholes we do discover by the end of the book they are not. They even risked their licenses to protect one of their clients.
Maisie was an absolute flake and Ethan, Trent, and Raphael were jerks. This short read had no story or character development; it's simply a cheesy, office fantasy "quickie".
The story was written fine, no major grammatical or spelling mistakes. Descriptions of characters was done well. However, the story is not complete...what happened to his face? Why was she needed at courthouse?, why did they 'trick her' into babysitting? What were the men thinking of the arrangement? Everything was so emotionless, is completely unrealistic, has no hea, and left me feeling uncomfortable. I didn't sympathise with, relate to, or even like the characters at the end. The main sticking point for me was: One dominant's eyes turn cold every time he is looking at her. Why would you have sex with/ be submissive to a stranger you think hates you or is angry with you? Also, there's more to Dom/sub relationship than ordering someone around and kinky sex, and there was no aftercare. Everything was so emotionless....except H saying she wants sex, is hoping to entice all 3 men to have sex, and how wet she was. Glad this a buy for free, even so, I'm deleting it from my kindle.
Basically straight in with the sex from page one… or maybe page two, as Maisie on the first day of her new job at a law firm sets out to tease her three hot bosses, and is delighted when she finds that they come as a package deal. But… what caused the scar that has disfigured one of these rich, successful and dominant men, and what role did the drunken office manager Mrs Donahue play… and do these lawyers always stay on the right side of the law? Well written and entertaining, but to complete the story it’s necessary to buy another four novella-size portions, or the box-set, which actually costs more than buying the titles individually. For that reason 3.5* rounded up, and unfortunately I won’t be finding out the answers!
This is the third series I am reading from the same author with similar content.
I really enjoyed Office Toy series and Executive Toy series and apparently Lawyers Behaving Badly series are featuring again three over the top Alpha males and a freshly hired employee who will soon become their trainee submissive.
The three bosses are called Ethan, Raphael and Trent. Maisie’s first impression about them is not the best. Besides rude, Ethan is badly scarred and he has a mask-like half face. This will not stop Maisie being turned on.
Ok, that’s basically the beginning of the story. I think I preferred more the previous two series, but I am reading this too.
First time ever reading this author definitely putting more of her in my library can't wait to read the rest of the series. Breathlessly wanting to get to know these three hunks and Maisy personally is on my agenda for the rest of the weekend. Entertaining us with their wild escapades can't wait to find out what the secret is ! So if you're into seeing what it's like to be used by three men or being used by three dominant men tied up and pleasured by them for them you'll enjoy the story
Maisie is the most hare brained character in the world, who thinks exclusively of sex, so don’t come into the book hoping for more. It’s a light read with some very detailed sex scenes (so step back if that’s not your thing either). Don’t take the dominant sex too seriously or you’ll find its flaws - just take this one for what it is: a bit of nicely written good sexy fun and you’ll be likely to enjoy it.
I thought this was an okay read, I was really enjoying the start of it and then about half way through I found myself just finishing the book because I don't like to leave anything in the DNF pile. It did have promise to be something really good but after a while I found myself disconnecting with the characters.
It was an okay book. If I had nothing else to read for some reason or just needed a very quick easy read I would continue with the series.
The start of the book dragged on a bit before I felt that it had started to get interesting. The sex scene at the end of the book wasn’t really all that hot. I kept wishing they would actually get on with the sex and stop moving her around, it didn’t make a lot of sense.
What was with them seating her on the rolling chair blind folded, then placing her whilst still ON the chair on-top of the desk? I had a laugh when they started throwing condoms around whilst she was still sitting up there thinking I’m going to roll off. More funny than actually sexy..

Hot, steamy and now have three new book boyfriends (all at the same time preferably!!) Loved it, looking forward to the second installment. Would love to read a longer book involving these four ;)
This is really a great read. I enjoyed the story, the writing, the flow of the book. Maisie, Ethan, Trent, and Raphael are really interesting people. I can't wait to read book 2.
What do you get when you have three dominant bosses and you're up for new experiences? You get a spicy, sexy and interesting read. Wish this story was complete and not a series of continuations.
Not a favorite, didn't realy like the men in this story, they were more like creepy preditors. I would have quit and just walked away. Then above all the it was a cliff hanger.
I know its a short story but I wish I had more information on the boys. With that said I loved the story that I did get. I'm going to need someone to tell me what happened to Ethan face. Also i have my reserves about Jayne.
Short, fast-paced, sexy story. Interested in the rest of the series as well, though would've preferred them being split up differently since they're short reads.
