It's a good book for beginners but very generic otherwise
It's a nice book: precise and concise. It is not something that goes in depth into the blogging world but more like a glimpse of what kind of efforts is required to have a successful blog.
I would say that this book alone, on its own, isn't much of any help as it is written in a generic way. There are many details which need a deep dive to make sure the blogger is doing it right. For example, keyword research is something of an art. Many tips and tricks can help you find the right keyword is missing from this book.
If you are a beginner, then no doubt this is a good book that will tell you what is needed from your end right from the investment to the time effort that you have to put in. There are a few actionable steps that the book suggests but they too I felt were very very generic.
Overall, this being a small book, one can read it quickly and learn a thing or two from it. But don't read this thinking you will be able to build a successful blog just by reading this book.

Great Step-by-Step
I love it when authors like Hirsch give intstructions in step-by-step format. Makes it so much easier for writers like me who like to plan things out in outlines.
For beginner bloggers like myself and even those who´ve been blogging for a few months, I´d say this is a must read.
Yes, I´ve read some of this info in other books, but not only does it give me a refresh, it also shows that there really is a set way to reach my financial goals through monetizing my blog.

Solid, Basic
This book has solid, if basic, information on starting a blog and how to use the blog as a business. It is recommended but be aware there are some typos and incorrect word choices that seem to have been autocorrected into place. This is distracting and eroded some of the author's credibility.

Great book
I read so !much book about blogging and this author was very straight to the point and he shows you how to do it the right way.

Adequate start
The book provides basics on blogging and how to monetize your blog. It does not really get into much detail on the monetization aspect. Just four general term about a paragraph or two on each. Most of the book seemed to be about setting up a basic blog.
