Inaccurate

I would advise all seekers of wicca or witchcraft to avoid this book at all costs. This book is full of inaccuracies. I cannot believe the high stars this book has been given; the only explanation is that those readers are either friends with the author or are so extremely beginner they have no idea that they were reading things that were completely made up. Some examples of what is wrong with this book: the author makes claims about wicca being an old religion that was persecuted by the medieval church when in truth "wicca" is a modern religion. The author has misinterpreted the rede and 3 fold law. The author was the dates of sabbats wrong. A simple Google search will tell you that "mabon" or the fall equinox is NOT on Sept 1st, not is Litha or the summer solstice June 1st. Those are just a couple of the problems, believe there is a ton more. This book is a prime example that anyone can publish a book without any fact checking. Avoid this book like the plague that it is. If I could this book would get zero stars. In the book Farrell says that you should not believe everything you read on the internet as fact...she should take her own advice. Her book is garbage and she should be ashamed for publishing this and sending beginners astray.

Wicca 102

Unlike some if the other books I've read lately on Wiccan and witchcraft, this book is more than just 'do lots of research.' Though there was that as well. This has some good beginner spells and information on some of the types if covens. A good jumping off point.

Okayish Book.... Could be better

This book is like a cheat sheat for Wicca. Very little info is provided without making things much complicated. This book is good if you already know a little bit of Wicca and just want a quick cheat sheat to brush over your knowledge.
