Loving the werewolf isn't always easy... sometimes it's rock hard.

Wild, rough and loyal as hell, these alpha wolf shifters from your favorite New York Times and USA Today bestselling paranormal romance authors will stop at nothing to be one with their mates.

Broken Communication (Immortal Outcasts) - Mandy M. Roth

Part of the Immortal Ops World!

Genetically altered into a super soldier who can shift into a wolf, Casey Black should have been the perfect asset—but that wasn’t to be. The scientists who conducted DNA splicing experiments on him put a little too much wolf in his cocktail. When the sassy, headstrong woman who makes his body burn with need vanishes, he realizes it’s not his head, but rather his heart that is broken. And he’ll do whatever is called for to mend it.

Curse of the Alpha: Episodes 1&2 - Tasha Black

Ainsley Connor is determined to turn her back on her shifter past. But when the wolves of Tarker's Hollow call on her to choose the next alpha, Ainsley becomes the object of desire for every eligible wolf in the quiet college town.

As she struggles to come to terms with her true nature, Ainsley is thrust into the center of a steamy web of shifters, ghosts, witches and warlocks, caught up in a life-and-death struggle for control of the pack she tried to abandon.

But for Ainsley Connor, the toughest wolf she must face might just be the one inside herself.

Wolves of Angels Rest: Hero - Elsa Jade

Maddie Joplin left the high desert town of Angels Rest with the searing memory of her one night in the arms of the local golden boy nipping at her heels. Now, years later, she’s back, haunted by a need she can’t outrun and determined to finally set herself free from wishes that can never come true.

Kane Villalobos was always destined to become alpha of the Mesa Diablo pack, but he can’t forget the lush curves and quick mouth of the girl he had to leave behind. Seeing her again arouses his wolf in dangerous ways, and keeping her safe—from himself and the perils of the werewolf world—might mean letting her go forever.

Jace – Kenzie Cox

In the wilds of the bayou…

Jace Riveaux has wanted her since the first moment she stepped into his bayou bar three years ago. And now she’s back, unattached, and ready for the taking. One afternoon together, and he knows she’s the one. Only his world is dangerous, he has secrets, and trust is hard to come by...especially when all signs point to her being aligned with his enemy.

Skye Michaels has nothing left to lose. After a bad breakup, she flees to her favorite southern Louisiana town, determined to finally get photographs of the majestic wolves that roam the area. Instead she gets what she really came for—Jace Riveaux. But when the Riveauxs are threatened by someone she knows, suddenly she has more to lose than ever.

Brindle - V. Vaughn

Katie Winslow made a life-altering decision the night of senior prom. But once she realized what she had become, Katie wanted nothing to do with her new state. Running off to college seemed like a good idea until mating season hit. Now the fever to reproduce is so great she can’t think straight.

Brindle Lindholm has his true mate locked in forever. If only Katie would come to her senses and accept that they are meant to be together. Mating season has come, and he knows Katie has to be suffering in heat. Brindle is the only one who can satiate the need, and even though his heart will have to stand the rejection that is sure to follow, he knows he must go to her.

Loving the Werewolf: Werewolf Romance V. Vaughn Mandy Roth Elsa Jade Kenzie Cox Tasha Black

Reviewed by SFF Dragon*

I love boxsets, you get so much variety and this is a must have set of terrific stories for any Paranormal Romance lover.

What an absolutely terrific set of first in series books from some of my favourite authors. Filled with action, steam and humour, this is a must have set of stand alone stories for any lover of paranormal romance, four of them complete with their own happily ever afters and no cliffhanger endings, however, Tasha Black's 'Curse of the Alpha' is only parts one and two of a six part serial so does end on a cliffhanger.

1 - Brindle (Winter Valley Wolves, Book 1) - V. Vaughn

Separated True Mates who eventually get their HEA, with a little something extra. Well two somethings really.

This paranormal romance is a short story with steamy bits which took me about an hour and a half to read. It's the story of high school sweethearts, werewolves and true mates Brindle Lindholm and Katie Winslow. They mated the night of their Senior Prom after lots of discussions about what it would mean for Katie to become a wolf and be tied to Brindle forever. But, after her first shift, Katie freaks, breaks off their engagement and leaves for college in a different state. Now she's suffering through her first Mating Season. The book covers a period of about 9 months, and for most of it Katie is spoiled and self-centred and Brindle is frustrated and heart-broken, but they do eventually get their HEA.

I liked the story, but it's written in the first person from Katie's point of view and I prefer stuff written in the third person, so I know what all the characters think and feel. I really didn't like the character of Katie, but on the whole, I enjoyed it. This was the first book I'd read by V. Vaughn, but I've read a lot more since and now she's one of my must read authors.

2 - Jace (Wolves of the Rising Sun, Book 1) - Kenzie Cox.

It's Mating Season on the Bayou and exactly the right time for Jace and Skye to finally be together. Forever. Give me more.

'Jace' is a short story which takes place over the course of single day with lots of references about the preceding events. It's a well written paranormal romance with steamy bits, action, a few surprises and a HEA which took me about an hour and a half to read. This was the first book I'd read by Kenzie Cox and I absolutely loved it. She very quickly became one of my must read authors. It's well written in the first person, but the point of view changes from Skye to Jace for alternating chapters so you get to know what each of them thinks and feels as you read. This really is a great start to the series and I highly recommend it.

Photographer Skye has run to her favourite place after splitting with now ex-boyfriend Lannister. The split started five days ago. He was angry that Skye got a tattoo of a wolf, then a couple of days later, he arrived home injured, ordered Skye around and then smashed her head into the wall. Skye packed up her stuff and left Baton Rouge, going to the only place she thought he'd never go. The Bayou, where she felt reasonably safe and the hotter than hell Jace is to be found.

Werewolf Jace Riveaux has wanted Skye since she first walked into his bar on the Bayou three years ago. She has been back quite often since then and she's here again, but this time it's Mating Season. After an afternoon romp, he knows she's his true mate, but then things take a turn for the worse and he is torn about what to do.

I thoroughly enjoyed this action packed and steamy book and would happily recommend it to anyone.

3 - Broken Communication (Immortal Outcasts, Book 1) - Mandy Roth

What a terrific start to a new series...I really couldn't put it down.

Mandy Roth is one of my all-time favourite authors, I love her books and have been reading them for well over a decade. I've read all of the Immortal Ops and PSI-Ops series, and absolutely loved every single one. This book, the first in the Immortal Outcasts spin-off series, was brilliant. I got so hooked by the story that I forgot I was supposed to be writing a review. I also forgot lunch. This always happens to me when I read one of Mandy's books, I get so absorbed in the story that time just passes me by.

The book opens with a sweating, shaking Casey Black, former Army Captain and Werewolf, waking up in a ramshackle motel, one of his safe houses, after yet another round of nightmares about the experiments done on him and others over a hundred years ago, by his own government, in their attempts to create a supernatural army. Then they tried to kill all of the 'uncontrollable' soldiers which were the result by blowing up the prison they were kept in when they were deemed failures. Casey saved as many as he could, despite being badly burned. An act which reaps rewards later in the book.

Traumatised, in hiding and now desperately worried about Harmony, Casey lives his life off the grid and tries to control the pain of the past and the rage of the beast within. The scientists put too much wolf in his DNA cocktail and the animal is always trying to gain control of his body and go feral. Anyone who has seen the brilliant Dark Angel series will know what that is, although this is a book about shapeshifters and other supernatural beings.

Casey is distraught because Harmony, his mate and best friend of the person he considers his little sister, has been missing for a week and he can't find her. He knows she's not dead, he can feel her fear. He has to find her. Enter a whole cast of weird and wonderful characters who all have their own individual stories but their nightmares are the same.

I won't give away any spoilers, but if you enjoy a good paranormal romance with some urban fantasy in the mix, strong characters, lots of action, steam and humour, then this is definitely a book you should read.

Like all of Mandy's books, it packs a lot of information into a small space, covering the background of a lot of the characters and the history of Casey as well as the experiments. So much that you don't feel like you've missed anything by not having read any of the Immortal/PSI Ops books, but if you do you'll be as hooked on them as I am. Written in the third person with Mandy's usual sense of humour, a strong heroine, which I always love, a great hero who will do anything for the woman he loves, a wonderful collection of additional characters, and of course, the HEA.

This is definitely a book you should read for yourself. I absolutely loved it

4 - Hero (Wolves of Angels Rest, Book 1) - Elsa Jade

Hero is the first book in the Wolves of Angels Rest series, it was also the first book I'd read by Elsa Jade, but I absolutely loved this terrific story and she very quickly got added to my list of must read authors.

On the Colorado Plateau, between the high desert and the Mesa Diablo mountains is the small town of Angels Rest. Maddie Joplin is a human mechanic who grew up here, went to high school here and fell in love with Kane Villalobos here. They spent one night together dreaming of their future with each other and then...they both ran away. Maddie to almost everywhere and Kane to the army. But now, ten years later, they're both back in Angels Rest, Maddie because, after all her wandering, she finally discovered this was where she belonged and Kane, to take over as Alpha of his wolf pack and find a mate during the Mating Moon. His pack expects him to find a nice, docile wolf to mate, but he only wants Maddie, the woman he's always loved, and she's not docile and she's not a wolf.

They stumble into each other at the door of Gypsy's Bar and have what they both think will be another one-night stand. Despite never having gotten over each other, they both tell themselves to stay away, keep a distance between them. Not a great plan really, and fate was never going to allow it to work. They're true mates, they're supposed to be together, and as the story unfolds, we learn why they both ran away, why they're back, and why they can't be together. But fate ensures that true love and true mates will not be denied. Then there's the problem of the Hunters to deal with....

This is a terrific story, with all sorts of characters who appear to change as the book progresses. Maddie and Kane, despite obstacles like pack attitudes and hunters, finally get their HEA in this fast-paced, action packed and steamy paranormal romance.

5 - Curse of the Alpha - Parts 1 & 2 only (A Tarker's Hollow Romance) - Tasha Black

I really enjoy Tasha Black's Tarker's Hollow stories, when they're complete stories, but you only get the first two parts of the 'Curse of the Alpha' six part serial. There is a cliffhanger and at 39 chapters it's very long even for a third of the full-length story, so I haven't actually read it, and even if I'd had time, I hate cliffhangers. Although there are very rare exceptions, I usually wait until I have the complete serial with it's happily ever after before I even consider reading it and so far I've only got parts 1-4.

Reviewed Broken Communication by Mandy M Roth

Oh I really love what you get in boxsets- for you never know what awesome gem of delights you will find. The book I read and reviewed is by Mandy M Roth-
Casey Black has been genetically altered and he is now more wolf than man. He has outlived his bio family and considers his friends his family. Casey has been in hiding more often than not to make sure that the government cannot grab him or use him to torture him to try to get more information out of him. The only thing Casey cherishes cares about more than his friends/ family is his mate- Harmony. He loves her more than his family and himself.

When the story starts, she is missing and he is going crazy trying to locate her. Casey is coming to terms with what Harmony means to him, how this changes things-for the better. He is seeing his friends and actually accepting help from them to get his mate back.
Harmony has her own secrets that she hasn’t shared with Laney or the cast of friends because she felt the time wasn’t right, and Harmony just felt her secrets could change how everyone felt about her. Her secrets have made her put on airs and pretend to be one person when inside, she is someone else to a point. Her story made tears well up in my eyes…for a moment.
This novella was fast, quick, exciting-delicious, roller coaster ride of yummy. I craved more. I loved Casey- he was the perfect ALPHA male and Harmony was a wonderful alpha’s mate. Kudos to the author writing a tasty treat in the Immortal Ops world. I really am craving Weston’s story as a follow up in this world. This is a great story that will get you into the Immortal Ops world or just a great novella full of intrigue, drama, laughter, headache, and in the end HEA. It packs a mighty size PUNCH. If you are looking for something to read, then read this story and enjoy this great novella in the Immortal Ops world.

My rating: 5 stars *****

As I started my first episode I realized I didn't want to stop reading as I had planned. Ms. Black had me hooked and there was no way I was putting this book down. Each page that she wrote seemed to be
free-flowing page by page.
Episode 1
Ainsley Conner was a real estate agent from New York, Manhattan to be exact. Ainsley never wanted to leave, than she was told here Mother and Father had a car accident and died. So here she was back in
Tarker's Hollow the same town she never wanted to come back too. The same town she ran from, and run she did, she ran because she was going to college and her parents just told her, she was a WOLF. After
the funeral the beta of the Pack told Ainsley that being her dad was Alpha this meant she had to MATE someone to make him Alpha. Julian Magie ( a Russian Lit Professor ) was interesting Ainsley thought why not she deserved some fun.
Episode 2
Someone broke into the house, plus the office at the college  Ainsley has no idea what they wanted or if they got anything. Several people came to help her clean and moving furniture, each day it would be cleaning , stacking books and going through everything. Great first in series by truly awesome authors!
Broken Communication (Immortal Outcasts) - Mandy M. Roth:
This is an excellent start to the Immortal Outcasts spin off the Immortal Ops/ PSI world. If you have read the Immortal Ops series you know there were some that did not work out as planned and became "outcasts", on the run from the very people who created them, this series tells their story. Yes it is short but riveting and well worth the attention, I am looking forward to more as I cannot get enough of the Immortal Ops world.
Curse of the Alpha: Episodes 1&2 - Tasha Black:
Wolves of Angels Rest: Hero - Elsa Jade:
Kane and Maddie had one night of passion neither could forget, but both left town after for different reasons and think their affair over, but when they both find their way back to town it flares to life again. Kane left hoping to find a place where shifters and humans could co-exist and where he could be free to be with Maddie without the dangers involved with turning her. Maddie left because Kane broke her heart with his rejection. Seeing Kane again Maddie decides to “hit it and quit it” to get him out of her system; does not work though, only makes him want her more and vice versa. Though his wolf wants to turn her and claim her, his human side fears she will not survive the change. Worse a hunter could take her (as his Uncle was taken leaving his cousins to be raised by his father), but his wolf side is winning and he has no idea how to tell her his secrets and keep her safe at the same time. Fate takes the decision from him however when she and her friend walk into the middle of an attack on his cousin, end up getting attacked themselves, and bearing witness to Kane transforming when he comes to the rescue.
Jace – Kenzie Cox:
Jace has wanted Skye since the first time he saw her, and she wanted him too; unfortunately, they were both involved with other people at the time. However, Skye is back in town and this time she is unattached and as it just so happens so is Jace! They give into their mutual attraction but past relations come back to haunt when Skye’s ex shows up and turns out to be a bigger jerk then she ever realized, and the true meaning of a tattoo she got to match his almost ruins everything she and Jace have just started! Another great addition to the Mating Season collection and definitely looking forward to the next in series of this sweet romance with great characters!
Brindle - V. Vaughn:
Katie has been in love with Brindle since High School, in fact they were each other’s firsts and thought nothing could come between them. However one thing did; when Brindle explained he was a werewolf and that he wanted to be with her forever she agreed to be turned, unfortunately, that decision proved to be hasty and she freaked and ran from home and Brindle to college. Now faced with isolation and the sheer madness of the mating season Katie is forced to confront her choices and decide what she really wants. When Brindle comes to help with her heat (since he is the only one who can being her mate), she realizes she still loves him but is she too late? When she returns home, things become a lot more complicated when she discovers 1. She is pregnant and 2. Brindle has moved on. Katie struggles with her feelings and what to do, she wants Bindle back but she does not want him to only do it for the baby. Very emotional case of young love and the ultimate what if’s life can throw your way!

FABULOUSLY ENTERTAINING!!!
Title: Loving the Werewolf
Authors: Tasha Black, Mandy Roth, V. Vaughn, Elsa Jade and Kenzie Cox
Designation: Werewolf Romance Collection
My Rating: FIVE CAPTIVATING STARS*****
Wow! Loving the Werewolf is a fabulous collection of stories by five exceptionally talented authors who also happen to be five of my personal favorites and each contribution to this anthology is part of one of their previously published bestselling series. I read each of these books when they were originally published and loved every single one. All of the stories are well crafted, beautifully written and well edited featuring irresistibly handsome wolf shifters and filled to the brim with danger, drama, action, adventure and romance but that's where the similarity ends. They are each imaginative and totally unique. One of my favorite series of all time is Curse of the Alpha by Tasha Black. This collection includes the first two installments of Black's six part serial featuring beautiful former big city real estate agent Ainsley Conner. Ainsley is a wolf shifter with Alpha blood flowing through her veins but in complete denial refusing to acknowledge her wolf and her importance to her hometown. She has suppressed her animal for years as a result of a horrific event in her past. Unfortunately, we all know the past has a way of never staying buried just as we also know that fate can never be denied, something Ainsley soons learns when she is forced to return home after the death of her father to deal with the ghosts of her past and the choices for her future. OMG! Let's face it, how often do we get to read a story featuring a sexy female Alpha. I loved it! Also included is Broken Communication, the first standalone novella in the Immortal Outcasts Series and part of the Immortal Ops Collection by Mandy Roth. It just doesn't get any better than sexy super soldier wolf shifter Casey Black. I fell head over heels for this story but I have to admit, I loved this entire series! Another of my favorites is Brindle, the first standalone novella in the heartwarming Winter Valley Wolves Series by V. Vaughn which is also part the multi-author Mating Season Collection. I was totally smitten with sexy wolf shifter Brindle Lindholm who is not only loyal and fierce, he's also mouthwateringly swoonworthy! Then we have Jace, the first standalone release in the Wolves of the Rising Sun Series by Kenzie Cox, also part of the Mating Season Collection. And no one can heat up the Louisiana Bayou like the handsome, cocky and very dangerous wolf shifter Jace Riveau! Oh my! He completely stole my heart! And last but not least, we have Hero by Elsa Jade, the first standalone novella in the Wolves of Angels Rest Series and again, part of the Mating Season Collection. And sweet mercy, this book totally captured my heart. Wolf shifter Kane Villalobus is a hot, handsome golden boy but unfortunately, his life is filled with dark, dangerous secrets but that won't stop Maddie Joplin - not this time! Oh my! This is one collection you don't want to miss! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Broken Communication by Mandy Roth

As a self confessed Mandy freak I knew this book was going to be good, they all are.

Casey is changed man...literally after government experiments. Deemed as a failure he lives in a hotel with some others like him and knows that Harmony is his mate. However, she is not as human as he thinks she is and trouble ensues when she is kidnapped.

This is a great story in a compact book and i thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. There are the trademark Mandyisms - snarky humour and scorching romance. Witty humour and hotter than hot sex make this another fabulous book from Ms Roth.

Hero by Elsa Jade

Maddie and Kane had a very short relationship whilst in high school. But as the son of the local alpha wolf, he had to give Maddie up of his father would have "removed" her. She had seer eyes and this meant she was bad news for the pack. Maddie later leaves town and Kane joins the military.

Now Kane's father is dead and he returns to take up the alpha mantle, that he doesn't really want. Maddie is also back in town and she decides to teat herself to another dose of Kane and then dump his ass the way he dumped her!! But the sexual tension between them is strong and he finds himself trying to find away to keep Maddie and his pack.

When Maddie and a friend end up in trouble, he is forced to show her just what he is. Can he trust Maddie with his secret or will she run for the hills???

A great short shifter story with alpha males and fiesty females and sizzling bedroom scenes.

Jace by Kenzie Cox

Have is a howling good hottie!!! He and his pack are fighting off claims to their land from those who wish to steal the mineral rights!

When he met the curvy ex plus size model now photographer he knew they'd be good together but the timing never synched. Now she is newly single and hiding out from her creepy ex.

But what will happen when they give in to their passion? What does her tattoo mean? What links her to the hunters which have slaughtered his kind for centuries?

Rollicking quick read. Jace is perfect alpha material and willing to defend his mate even though she may have links to their enemy!! Fab storyline and compelling characters!

Brindle by V Vaughn

This was a compact read and did seem a wee bit rushed towards the end but it was still a fully formed and fleshed out story.

Katie was made into a werewolf by her true mate Brindle, at her own request, but she freaked out after her first shift and ran off to college leaving him behind. When her first heat as a werewolf is upon her, no matter how many trysts she has, nothing is taking her burning need away!!!

Brindle shows up to help her through her heat. Her old feelings come flooding back but she is just not ready to be the mate Brindle deserves. But when she ends up in a life changing situation, will Brindle stick around to help this confused co-ed???

I would have loved this book to be longer but it was a perfect lunch time read!! Brindle is effortlessly sexy and Katie does make you a bit nuts with her indecisiveness but otherwise a great read!!

What a collection of stories from a group of AMAZING authors, I had read 4 out of the 5 when they were first released.

Brindle "Winter Valley Wolves" bk 1 by V. Vaughn...
Katie is in heat, after running away from her mate Brindle, not long after she was changed, having to get used to being a wolf & then all her confusion. Nothing can satiate Katie when she's in heat, but Brindle makes a surprise visit, knowing his mate is in pain, but also not knowing if he'll be rejected again.....
I really felt for Katie & Brindle's situation, obviously she needs time to come to terms at being a werewolf, but Brindle is nothing but patient... well until near the end.

Jace "Wolves of the Rising Sun" bk 1 by Kenzie Cox...
Skye finds comfort in the Bayou, especially around Jace, having just broken up with her boyfriend she wants to take pictures & relax. But when a storm breaks & Skye finds herself in a cabin with him....
I loved how things progressed between Jace & Skye, it made for an enjoyable short read.... why do these stories have to be so short??

Broken Communication "Immortal Outcasts" bk 1 by Mandy M. Roth...

Hero "Wolves of Angels Rest" bk 1 by Elsa Jade...
Kane is coming home from the war afer escaping small town life. Maddison felt a pull to returning to where it all began. A chance meeting on Kane's first night home & so many secrets to keep from Maddie, keeping her safe from himself & others.... but when the Mating Moon rises the war between want & need stop....
I loved this book, I was quickly thrust into the story & it was over before I knew what happened.

'Curse of the Alpha' episodes 1 & 2 by Tasha Black...
Imagine living in a small town, protected by your parents but not knowing what you truely are.... Imagine learning that your a werewolf after something terrible happens, something that 10 years laters still haunts your dreams.
In Episode 1 of Curse of the Alpha, brings about why Ainsley Connor hasn't returned home to Tarkers Hollow or spoken to her parents for years. But returning home after her parents die in a car crash to clean the estate, she is thrown back into a close nit community & the role of Alpha which means finding her mate. Will Ainsley accept her position or will she pass down the roll??
In Episode 2 of Curse of the Alpha continues off where episode 1 finishes... I don't want to give to much of the plot away. Ainsley feels herself being drawn to 2 different men, werewolf Eric & human Julian. Sparkes fly in either direction, but still Ainsley is undecided.
Tasha kept me intrigued with this installment, I couldn't put it down... Now where is the rest of this series, I need to KNOW what happens!!

Broken Communications-Mandy M Roth-5 stars

i was given an arc by the author for an honest review.
Genetically altered into a super soldier who can shift into a wolf, Casey Black should have been the perfect asset—but that wasn’t to be. The scientists who conducted DNA splicing experiments on him put a little too much wolf in his cocktail. Considered a danger to society and a risk to the survival of the secret project, the government tried to eliminate him. The former Immortal Operative has spent the majority of his life on the run and off the grid from the very government who’d helped him be ‘all he could be’. When the sassy, headstrong woman who makes his body burn with need vanishes, he realizes it’s not his head, but rather his heart that is broken. And he’ll do whatever is called for to mend it.

i so enjoyed this short sotry!!!!!
action,love and laughter!!!!
Nicely written and fasted paced makes you sad to finish the story.

Who doesn't love a good werewolf story? Well you're in luck--here is a whole boxed set full of them Yep, some of the best know PRN authors have provided us with a treat offering some of their absolute best loved stories.

To start out the book we have a hot one by V. Vaughn, Brindle: And another Favorite by Mandy Roth: (Part if her OPS world)
This my be a short, however it is packed with love, heat and emotions. The conflict in this one isn't danger or subterfuge. Here we have two lovers who have to come to terms with their feelings, growing up and decisions made in the heat of youth. You'll enjoy this character driven short if you like shifter books, romance or just a good read.

Katie decided to let her love claim her, turn her and make her a wolf too. Brindle was ready, she wasn't and ran from her new life, her love and tried to live her old way. When the mating heat hit her she knew the void of the last six months was nothing in comparison. When Brindle shows up to help her get through she vows it changes nothing.

Broken Communication: Broken Communications: The start of something wonderful. Ms Roth's new series of the PSI Immortals group compels, delights, and tickles us. The men making up this group of extraordinary men and the women have that something extra.
Casey has to find Harmony, his undisclosed relationship makes him even more determined to find the snarky Fae, who has been kidnapped by the people who doctored his DNA to make him the rogue he has become. His quest begins along with some friends and former colleagues who use all of their combined gifts to help him.
For four years they have denied their feelings hiding under sarcasm, is it too late for them? Read and enjoy their discovery in this introduction to a series I can't wait to read.

Another great set of Self-contained stories that are also part of different series.

Brindle - V. Vaughn 5 Stars
Running away doesn't make it go away
Katie was in love with Brindle a d decided to take thing a step further and mate with him. Only she couldn't handle the outcome and being a wolf the one time she changed into one. A year or so later Brindle come to her to help her with her heat and then let's her be again. But once mated you can't take it back. This is a well written and very entertaining story to read.

Jace - Kenzie Cox

Broken Communication - Mandy M. Roth 5 Star
Finding their worth
This is a wonderful addition to the Immortal Ops World and still a self-contained story. Casey is one of the men where the alterations to him were less than perfect in the eyes of the creators. Harmony (his mate) has gone missing and he’s determined to find her and save her. She doesn’t know that Casey is her mate and thinks no one is going to come looking for her. Wonderful story, well written and has some serious as well as funny parts in the story. Highly recommend to all.

Hero - Elsa Jade 5 Stars
Lost love
Not long after Maddie Joplin comes back to her home town to help find herself, so does her high school crush and one-night stand. Kane Villalobos comes back because his father died and he’s expected to become the next alpha. The last thing he figured he’d find in Angels Rest is the one girl who took his heart but for the good of the pack he had to let her go. When the two meet up again is combustible and the flame just keeps getting higher. Kane knows her should leave her alone but can’t. Well written and very entertaining to read.

This is a collection of werewolf stories by some terrific authors. There are first in series by V. Vaughn, Kenzie Cox, Tasha Black, Mandy Roth and Elsa Jade. I've included reviews from two of my favorite novellas in this collection, all books are enjoyable!

Brindle by V. Vaughn:
This is a wonderful story about two people coming together, realizing they are with who they're supposed to be with. V. Vaughn has crafted a story with likable characters you enjoy spending time with. The story will quickly grab your attention and keep you reading. I look forward to reading more in this new series.

Jace by Kenzie Cox:
This is a delightful novella about Jace, a wolf shifter, and Skye, a lover of wolves. Both had an instant attraction to one another when they met several years ago but circumstances and other relationships kept them apart...until now! After an unwelcome visitor to Jace's family land leads to a misunderstanding, will Jace and Skye find their way to each other? Will Jace reveal he is a wolf shifter?
This is a rollercoaster of a read! It starts of quickly with the build up to to "will they or won't they", hurtles you down quick with the misunderstanding, and slows builds with confrontation scene. Emotions run along the same course from happiness, frustration, excitment and awe. The story is well written with characters you'll enjoy geting to know. I look forward to getting to know Jace and his family in future books.

I received a copy of this collection in exchange for an honest review. I have purchased/own several of the stories in this collection.

Broken Communication (Immortal Outcasts) - Mandy M. Roth

Curse of the Alpha: Episodes 1&2 - Tasha Black
When she is called to choose the next alpha Ainsley Connor would rather not but she finds that men are throwing themselves at her anyway. She would rather the town choose an alpha instead but there is more then meets the eye going on when there is a break in at her dads office at the college.

Wolves of Angels Rest: Hero - Elsa Jade
Maddie Joplin left town in search of something but when it eluded her she came back and she found the man who broke her heart, Kane Villalobos. Kane learned at a young age that the girl he wanted could not be his because she was seen as a threat to the pack.

Jace – Kenzie Cox
Jace Riveaux lives on the bayou and is trying to keep his thoughts from the sassy and sexy Skye. When they get caught in the rain he knows she is his mate but things and people try to keep them apart. Skye Michaels came to the bayou to get away from her ex and shoot some photos.

Brindle - V. Vaughn
Katie Winslow had second thoughts about becoming a werewolf and mate to Brindle Lindholm, so she took off for a college miles away but when her heat cycle comes around the first time nothing prepares her for what happens next.

I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. All of these authors are awesome and they are all fantastic stories any paranormal romance book lover would love to get their hands on.

So far I have only had the opportunity to read the contributions by Tasha Black.

Curse of the Alpha: Episode 1 by Tasha Black.
I found this book to be different from other paranormal reads. I liked how the heroine, Ainsley, is wolf from the beginning, she is also smart, and ambitions (she is a real estate agent in NYC). She is stubborn and has a mind of her own. Ainsley is going to figure things our on her own and make her own decisions. I also liked Erik. He seems like an alpha through and through. He is intelligent and has the respect of the pack. He not only has Ainsley best interest at heart but also the packs. As for Julian, I'm not to sure what to think of him. I do believe that as the story goes on, we will know more about him and his true intentions. I would recommended this series to anyone who likes a strong heroine. I am looking forward to reading the next two episodes!

Curse of the Alpha: Episode 2 by Tasha Black
Episode 2 of this book was centered more on Ainsley and her feelings about her wolf, the people in her hometown and of course Erik and Julian. She is still trying to come terms with her wolf and everything that it entails. Because of her father, she has the support of various pack members, all of which want her to find a mate. She is also contemplating the feelings she has for Erik and Julian. How can she be with one man but be thinking about the other? Decisions decisions! I can't wait to read the upcoming episodes!

Curse of the Alpha: Episodes 1 & 2 by Tasha Black:
Let me start by saying, I really enjoyed these stories. Despite that, I had a hard time liking the main character, Ainsley. She very much frustrated me, and I wanted to bang my head on the table screaming "WHY???" In my opinion, that is a good indicator of how well this is written. When an author gets you so involved in a story that you get emotionally connected enough to experience happiness, sadness, frustration, etc. with the characters, he or she is really good at what they do. Other than the main character, I liked most of the characters. I really just want Ainsley to get her crap together and think of someone besides herself for once! I can't wait to read the rest of the series to see what happens and to see how she learns and grows.

Broken Communications by Mandy Roth
I am a huge fan of her immortal books, and this was another really good one. I really enjoyed the characters and the connections to the previous immortals characters. It was really good to get an understanding of the Immortal Outcasts, and I hope to read more about them. As usual, Broken Communication is very well-written with in-depth characters and a well developed world.

This is a great collection of stories for those looking for new paranormal romance authors.

I have read many of them when they were originally released.

Curse of the Alpha - A very interesting series featuring a main character who has ignored their heritage and has to confront it when her parent's die. There are lots of situations going on and some are pretty odd.

Brindle - This is a young adult shifter story. Katie and Brindle are high school sweethearts and she asks him to turn her into a werewolf after graduation. She doesn't realize all the consequences of that decision and runs off to college without him. They struggle to find a way to be together and adjust to all the changes. Katie doesn't do well without him but doesn't know if she cam live with the pack and all that entails. She also keeps a secret from him that makes Brindle question whether he can ever trust her again. It is an interesting story with a different take on mating bonds and relationships than I usually see in shifter stories.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

Broken Communication by Mandy Roth
Casey Black was in the military but he was more like a lab rat or a pin cushion. The scientists tested a lot of people with all sorts of DNA and really didn't care what happened and Harmony is one too unfortunately her father is a backer for the scientists.
When Harmony is kidnapped all Casey can do is search for her because she's special to him....

Brindle by V. Vaughn
Katie is going through her first mating season and she's at college hiding from her mate. When Brindle shows up at her school to help her through the change.
Katie moves home at the beginning of summer because she's homesick and her grades have dropped. Then she finds out she's pregnant and Brindle is seeing someone else....

Jace by Kenzie Cox
Skye has come back to the bayou where Jace works and owns Wolves of the Rising Sun bar.
Skye likes to take pictures and she's on the run from her abusive ex boyfriend. She doesn't know that Jace and his family are werewolves.
When Jace's brother sees Skye's tattoo and the ex shows up shit hits the fan!

(The other outcasts)they did not get them all Casey got away and lives off the grid now. Until someone kidnapped his Harmony then a few outcasts Come out of the woodworks to find and save her.
I love this story and action. The characters are the best. They get along so well. It's a class above.

Curse of the alpha 1 & 2 by Tasha Black
Wow what a great story. The author put so much detail in to building this wonderful story. I literally couldn't put it down
after something bad happen to her she runs away, off to college, off to the big city and never looked back but with the death of her family she is back to handle thing and yet strange things keep happening. What to do? Who to choice? And what's next. I cant wait for the next book.

Loving the werewolf is a wonderful collection of some of the best authors in this genre. Every book is action packed, full of hot alphas and some even hotter panty melting bedroom scenes. These authors bring to life the want and need for these alphas to be with their mates. I was gifted this book for an honest review and it is a great collection of stories you will all love.

Mandy M. Roth & Ella Jade

Both stories are my favorites.
Mandy because she's an awesome writer and her Ops World is incredible.
Ella Jade is new to me but I really enjoyed reading her story.
It's short but perfect. Nothing left hanging except what about the cousins?

Great stories

Good characters, good plots, made for enjoyable reading. Sex did not dominate the stories, but we're involved at the right time without being totally clinical.

Read and enjoy.
