Nick Dacre is the epitome of the classic rock star. Women, booze and luxury are handed to him on a daily basis and life is great. Until another alcohol fuelled sexual encounter forces him to realise that, in spite of his many achievements, his life and the relationships therein have no real meaning. Now feeling trapped in a life he is expected to continue leading a terrifying event forces him to re-evaluate his future. The words of a stunning and feisty, Scottish chambermaid, met whilst on tour in London, return to haunt him. Are her words the key to the drastic changes he needs to make? Will he find himself but lose his heart in the process?

“I need to ask you something.” She smiled up into the familiar, cerulean blue eyes she had grown to love. “And what might that be?” “Would you mind if I stay“
Just when I thought romance was gone from most of the "rock romance" genre, I found this book. The story of Nick & Cat (for short ;) ) was not your typical fall in lust/love story. Quite the contrary, Cat was so not impressed with our gorgeous rock star, although a little unfairly at times believing the the myth instead of the man and oh what a man Nick is. Lisa J Hobman, the songs Nick wrote for Cat were tissue worthy! I really hope we see more of the RockHill gang as well as Nick's bandmate Chris and the beautiful Scottish Highlands, I am very tempted to visit this magical place myself. This is rock romance at it's best

The Worst Of Me…
This is my first read with Author Lisa J. Hobman and it will not be my last. While I started out having a little difficulty getting into the story, I was pulled in when sexy Rockstar, Nick Dacre, decides the world of being famous is too much for him. Not your average cocky, self-absorbed rocker, Nick starts having doubts about this lifestyle as he relives in his mind all of the women he’s been with, all of the time he’s wasted with drinking and with these women. He recalls one Scottish chambermaid, Catriona (Cat), seemingly unimpressed with him and remembers everything she told him about the picturesque town she came from.
Nick has a horrible case of anxiety after being mobbed and attacked by fans. This sends him in a downward spiral, forcing him to confront whether he wants to be a part of this lifestyle anymore. After being hospitalized, then secluded at home with his Mum to care for him, even the idea of being back out on tour triggers anxiety so bad that he must get away, to a place where he thinks nobody will know him or care that he is there.
A long drive puts Nick smack-dab in the middle of Gairloch, that small, picturesque town that ‘Cat’ had told Nick about. He visits a local pub for a pint and to find a room. Little did he know, Cat would be not only the barmaid but that her family owns the pub. Much to her dismay, Nick pursues taking up board in her family’s small town pub. Sassy Cat is not happy about this. Low and behold, after meeting Nick Dacre during her time as a chambermaid, she would return home and google search him to learn more about him. These two have certainly got a spark between them. Will they stop clashing and be together?
Author Lisa Hobman does a phenomenal job of throwing Cat’s attitude directly in the way of the man she thinks is nothing more than a womanizing drunk of a rockstar. Her portrayal of Cat as awkward and brusque, but only with Nick, was what made Nick’s character more lovable. Here he is, a rockstar on the verge of throwing it all away because it is just too much, and a woman who thinks he is the exact opposite of the kind of person he actually is in the end. She’s happily engaged (or is she?) to a local, Camden, yet there’s something about this woman that Nick just cannot help but be infatuated with. She loves and wants to protect her small beautiful town of Gairloch from whatever follows him there. She is passionate and would do anything to keep that wonderful place from being a side show.
Slowly, we see Nick and Cat grow on one another, always toggling back and forth between what should be and what keeps getting in the way. Just when we think the two will finally work it out, something gets in the way. This was a wonderful, albeit tumultuous, story with a happy ending. So glad there was a happy ending.
*ARC received in exchange for an honest review* 3.5
I did really really enjoy the book, the authors writing is superb, but one of the characters annoyed me so so much that it was impossible for me to rate above 3.5 stars, even though I desperately wanted to.
Cat...She has to be one of the most annoying heroine I've ever read, she's not a very nice person and I was hoping as the book went on that she'd calm down and be nicer, then maybe I would of rated this higher. But she was continuously bitchy and acted like a spoiled brat. Most of the time it wasn't even warranted and made me want to smack her myself....I'm not actually surprised that she only had one friend.
Nick Dacre on the other hand....Oh boy, hotty alpha male alert! He's the epitome of what a rock star is and I adored reading about him. I don't understand what he really saw in Cat and to be honest, I'm surprised he ever even went back to her or tried to win back her affection. She was downright horrible to him and in a reality setting, this girl wouldn't ever have a boyfriend. But, I did feel sorry for her with the Camden situation but then the pity ends the first time those two came to blows....the second time...well it seemed to me she was unable to NOT have a relationship. Yet I found it hard to believe that Nick never found out about her short comings yet she found out everything about him and never gave him a chance to talk.
I did enjoy the writing, it was very descriptive and I enjoyed the majority of it. ..just not Cat.
I'm sure other people will love her nastiness but for me...no man should be treated that way. I'm very glad for the ending, it was a beautiful ending and it was nice to see a nice side to cat.
Overall, I did love the book but the heroine really let it down and I can't get passed that enough to rate this any higher than 3 stars.
I'm a big supporter of Lisa J Hobman as I know that if I pick up one of her books I'm in for a great read and The Worst of Me was by no means any different. I'm a massive fan of enemies to lovers stories and this has got to be one of my all time favourites, both characters were very headstrong and stubborn in their own way and Cat especially with her sarcastic viper tongue, she had me wanting to slap her silly but that's what makes her so much more interesting and it gave her room to grow into the caring women she later reveals herself to really be, her actions do seem quite harsh but she is just trying to protect all that she holds dear. Nick Dacre he is certainly a character I grew to love, I want my very own Rock God that looks and sounds just like him, !!Move over Adam Levine!! Nick is a man of many talents and is so much more than just your average one dimensional rocker, he shows that underneath all the fame and fortune he is just a lonely man wanting the same as everyone else to be loved for himself and not for what and who he is. So much fire and passion has gone into the writing of this story because you can tell by how the author loves to describe her characters and the places where the story is set, from all the fine detail of the surrounding scenery to the emotional impact of the actions that the characters go through. It's always a pleasure to read one of Lisa's stories she just gets better with every book she writes.
Wow!!! Just Wow, I Loved This Book So Much I Really Didn't Want It To End And I Am Kind If Gutted That It Has, I Could Read This Book Again And I Think I Would Still Laugh And Cry Again And Again Too.
What Would You Do When You Think Your World Is All Set And On A Certain Path And A Man With The World After A Piece Of Him Comes And Completely Disrupts It. Catriona "Cat" For Short Was Really Happy With Her Lot And Was Completely Blown Away When Nick Lead Singer Of Sonic Idol Walked Into Her Sleepy Town In Scotland, Nick The Complete Epitome of A Classic Arsehole, With The Typical Loose Morales Of A Rock Star, But Maybe You Shouldn't Judge The Man On What Is Put Out For The Public To See.
This Is Such A Beautiful Love Story That Every Little Girl Dreams Of When They Are Younger And Every Woman With Insecurities Hopes Will Happen To Them. Nick Is Just Bloody Swoon Worthy And I Feel In Love With His Character.
I Will Say No More Regarding This Story As You Will Have To Read It To Find Out If This Rock Star Hating Firecracker Ever Gives Nick A Break And Lets Him Into Her World. This Beautiful Sex-Fueled Romance Is A Must Read And I Look Forward To Many More Books From This Very Talented Writer, Well Done Lisa
I am a huge fan of this author and couldn't wait to get stuck into her latest offering. The cover alone had me desperate to know more.
The storyline is a familiar one, but as expected from the author she puts her own unique spin on things. She fell in love with Scotland and eventually moved here. I can totally see her point if I'm being honest! So what else would she do but put a Scottish spin on the story.
There is so much of the author in this book, I can see her love of all things Scottish coming through. The wee mentions of Scottish things, such as stovies, had me laughing.
The characters are all very believable and likeable, except of course the ones we aren't meant to like very much. The storyline is a good one, and it kept me interested throughout. In fact it kept me so interested I stayed up later than I should have reading it, I didn't want to put it down.
I remain in awe of the author being able to constantly bring out stories which draw me in, and I can't wait to see what comes next.
This story was an emotional read that captured my heart and kept me enthralled throughout. Cat was a spitfire. I loved her feisty nature, and the fact that she didn’t fall at Nick’s feet because he was some rock god. Nick, although he seemed like your typical rock star, was actually a down to earth, sweet guy. My heart went out to him as he suffered the crippling anxiety that could have very easily have broken him completely. Although it was a terrible experience, it led him on the journey that saw him find the real him again, and along with it he found a love that was spectacular to see grow into something lasting and true.
There was bound to be some drama, though, and I had a sneaky suspicion that Cam was the one who’d stir up trouble. I just had to hold on to hope that Nick and Cat would find their way back to each other, and that they’d beat the odds.
Romantic, funny, and heartrending, this book was a great read.
This was a really good story, I enjoyed it. The characters are well developed, I didn't like Cat to begin with but she grew on me and by the end, I thought she was great, which I think is a mark of a great writer.
I would have given this book a solid 4 stars, however, I feel I have to be honest and say that the extensive use of italics to emphasise words was distracting and took me out of the story, which was a draw back as it is a good story.
Another great book from Lisa Hobman. The lead male character isn't instantly likeable but he grows on you like he does on the female lead. There are a few bumps in the road for their relationship but don't want to give away the ending. Once again the Scottish highlands have a part to play in the book. Looking forward to the next book.
4.5 Stars Opposites attract or so the saying goes and this is the perfect example of that dictation. Because if ever there were two polar opposites they are Nick and Cat! I adored Cat’s ascorbic tongue, she was so opinionated and not shy about voicing whatever particularly prickly tirade she was willing to unleash. She was stubborn and I think I would have to say she wielded the sword of sarcasm like an absolute master but that wasn’t enough to protect her from falling for the charm of the fabulous Nick Dacre. Now, Nick is in desperate need of a little alone time, his life in the public eye may fuel his career as a rock god but it doesn’t exactly cut it anymore when it comes to him being his own man. And when his anxieties start affecting his performances and he is struggling to contain that impact, he decides to take drastic action to get away from the melee that surrounds him. Now your average superstar is going to head for all the luxury and seclusion that their money can provide them, but then again Nick isn’t your average star and that is what sets him off on the wrong foot with Cat, because Nick heads to the tiny picturesque village of Gairloch in Scotland and as far as Cat is concerned he may have just hitched up the world’s media and brought them along because she is certain that it is only a matter of time before the peace she so readily enjoys is shattered. Now Nick would have never happened upon the town had he not heard how magnificent it was from a maid that had been working in a hotel that he was staying in, and since that maid was Cat, I suppose he has no-one to blame but herself for him being there but then again I don’t for one second imagine that she ever thought he would visit, let alone stay in her folks B&B. I think Nick always hoped that he would bump into her again but staying at the family guest house would have been a stroke of genius had he thought about it but the gods were obviously on his side because his bed for the night was down to pure luck. Can Cat hold her tongue long enough to see that he is a man that needs her friendship not her distain? I was beginning to have my doubts, when she started out on a none too subtle offensive to get him to pack up and ship out! It took a while but eventually she cottoned on to the fact that there was more behind him being in her little village, this was a man that was teetering towards being broken and she was doing her best to finish him off, he needed an friend not a lecture and when she finally picked up on the signs and packed her attitude away they formed a fantastic friendship. Now I say fantastic but as you would expect it wasn’t all sweetness and light, it had a bumpy path to tread. Cat found it really tough to get past Nicks reputation, to see that he wasn’t who she thought he was and that everything she had read about him wasn’t necessarily true and Nick well he just had to learn to let her vent! The man had the patience of a saint I think I would have locked her in a cupboard. I enjoyed the story, the depth behind the characters and the realism that they brought to the picture, they were both looking for the same thing in many ways, they just had different approaches. I admire the author for the clarity with which she approached the story, the sensitivity with which she addressed the fact that far from being famous, all Nick wanted was to be normal, to be important enough as a man for someone to love, no matter his persona, no matter his bank balance, no matter his fame and with Cat he may just have found the person that saw beneath the façade. I loved the descriptive hues that the author used with a flourish when describing the location, the village, the people, the beauty of the place because as a Scot, I understood how much getting that right would mean, it truly is one of the most beautiful spots on earth.
The Worst of Me had me questioning of I really wanted to read another rock star romance book, but the cover, I've got to say dragged me in (and I've got to say I'm not normally too fussy on covers!).
The story of the fledging and emotionally maxed out Nick Dacre aka random rock star (then to be renamed Randall through some hilarious drunk shenanigans) decides to take a take some time out. With the help of his mother he avoids the press and heads for Scotland. Where else right? *says the Scot in the room!*
Him arriving to this beautiful, secluded little town wearing Jeans, cowboy boots and not to mention the porche had me loving him already. I just loved this character and his down to earth attitude.
Excerpt: Yep, Nick, you're pretty much camouflaged. Blending right in, you are...you t*t.
**insert Susan's hysterical laughter**
Upon meeting 'Cat for short', she would fear for her small local town, it's people and chat would become of this rock star barging into her life. But as he pleads his case and explains his need to be away from the spotlight, can she let go of her suspicions and trust him to do what he says?
Excerpt: "Please? I need to stay to stay out of the tabloids and I need to just be...left alone," he pleaded with the woman who, to all intents and purposes, was a total stranger and owed him nothing, least of all loyalty.
The pair seemed like chalk and cheese, her being classically trained, he being the rock god...but they do say opposites attract! ;) With Nick getting the time away he needed to reevaluate his time in the band and what he wanted generally, he wouldn't expect to find the answers in a group of young teenage boys. But in helping them, would he turn around the one woman he holds in such high esteem?
Excerpt: I think the fans and the money brought out the worst in me. But now...I think I want more. I want something for me. Someone for me. Someone I can trust and who's...real.
For me, it's probably one of my favourites of Lisa J Hobman and I love many of her books. But this for me, struck a chord like her earlier stories when I first started reading indies. It just took me back to the roots of her writing and I adored it. Not to mention one of her steamiest books yet! A stunning page turner that had me at the end before I was ready to let go.
This is the first of Lisa J Hobman's books that I have read. I've read one by Lissa Jay, but they couldn't be further apart. The Worst of Me had me hooked by the blurb and I haven't got over it yet, even though I finished reading several days ago. I love Nick Dacre something fierce. At first, he's everything you expect a rock star to be, arrogant, spoiled, man-whore... But if you scratch the surface, you find he's actually a genuine, sweet, caring guy. It's funny to find that he's got a heart instead of a lump of clay. The storyline is captivating and intriguing. It's a fast-paced, page-turner and you can't help but lose yourself within the glorious surroundings of rural, beautiful Scotland. I absolutely love 'Cat for short,' she is so spunky and feisty, everything you would want in a woman to make a perfect match for Nick. Only, the love-match doesn't seem so perfect. Nick screws up in silly little ways at first, but it's only a matter of time before the mother of all screw ups, something Cat surely can't forgive...?!
The Worst of Me was one of the best books I've read so far this year, in fact, probably one of the best since I started blogging in 2011. It's got everything a girl could possibly want in a story. Sex-God/Rock Star + female protagonist that doesn't take kindly to him turning up in her town... It's got EPIC written all over it.
Lisa J Hobman is a very talented author. The way she draws you in, gets your emotions tangled up in the characters, then she sucker punches you when you least expect it. Yeah, she rocks. I'm looking forward to reading more by her in future.
This was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. I loved the characters they were very believable and the story was well paced. This is a story of finding yourself and even though these two are the complete opposite they seem to be the same coin.
Nick Dacre has it all, he is living the dream but somewhere along the line he has lost himself and is struggling with everything thrown at him. After a serious panic attack Nick takes some time off but there is no escaping after constant phone calls and visitors. With the help of his mum he escapes, but has no clue where he is going, thats when he remembers a conversation he once had with a chambermaid, where she told him about her home town and how secluded and peaceful it was.
Nick feels a sense of calm the minute he arrives in the little town in Scotland and knows this is the place for him.
Catriona is shocked to find none other than Nick sitting on the other side of the bar. She holds nothing back when it comes to telling him exactly what she thinks. She dosnt want him here, he will only bring trouble to her town and she also dosnt like her own feeling for the man who if she was honest with herself she has lusted after for some time.
Thing are definitely not easy for this pair but Nick is a stubborn man and likes to get his own way and is prepared to fight for what he wants, however there is only so many times this man will be pushed away. With twists, turns and drama along the way can this couple ever get it right?
Once again my beautiful Scottish friend delivers a fantastic read!! The organic relationship that develops between Nick and Cat is the type that I absolutely love!! It's the stories that have the flirts and laughter, love and loss, and the push and pulls of a persons heart and emotions that pull me in each and every time! Nick and Cat's love story delivers all of this and so much more!! The story takes place in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland but also delivers different parts of the world as visited from the Rock Star's life. I don't know how Lisa does it but she provides in a beautiful way a glimpse into the life of a rockstar and all the pitfalls that come with that lifestyle. You get to rejoice and then suffer right along with Nick as he tries to find out what his heart truly wants... And then get scared when he finds his heart's desire in the most unlikeliest of places...right in the arms of a beautiful redhead named Cat. Cat has her own battles to fight and win... Most of them happening within her own heart and mind as she tries to figure out who and what she can put her faith, and trust, and hope in! In this book they both have to search deep within themselves to see if they can answer the age-old question...why? If you are looking for a rocking love story, then you have to look no further than this book! This book is a definite must read!!! Love ya Lisa!!!
I was provided with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
The Worst of Me by Lisa J. Hobman was a wonderful read! The third person telling was necessary for the story to have maximum effect on the reader. The characters are realistic and well developed. When someone says opposites attract this book will probably automatically pop in my head. The emotional rollercoaster and the author’s writing technique keeps the reader engaged. The way she described the characters, setting and actions occurring brought the story to a higher level of quality. This was my first book by Lisa J. Hobman and I was happy with my experience this book created.
The main characters are Nick and Cat. Nick is a unique rock star character, far from the usual bang um and leave um readers see all the time and easily likeable for the reader. Cat’s character is not a push over and comes of kind of bi+ch. Maybe Nick can chill her out a little…? She is not a soft spoken run over me anytime female character and while I like strong female characters she was a little too rough without enough reasons behind it for me to like her much. I would have liked additional of inner Cat side to come to the surface later in the book than did.
I am giving The Worst of Me a 4.5 star rating! I would happily read it again, recommend it to my book friends and will keep an eye out for the author’s upcoming books.
As I continue catching up on books that have been sitting on my Kindle for much too long, I will admit this one was chosen in a way that I never pick my next read - solely based on the cover. Go ahead, go look at it again, ladies. The review will wait.
The story itself....flawlessly edited, which is always appreciated. The story has some originality to it that I am always pleased by as well. My biggest issue was the heroine. I have to say that I never came to embrace her, or understand her, fully. The hero is virtually flawless though. There are some incredibly romantic gestures, and the setting in the Scottish Highlands....six months ago I may not have appreciated it, but a certain Jaime changed that all when I very belatedly jumped on the Outlander bandwagon. It's a little strange to put a modern rockstar in the setting of my favorite 17th century redhead, but it was nice to be back in the Highlands again.
Overall, a solid offering. I sometimes have a bit of American snobbery and have difficulty slipping into "foreign" tongue, but I found this one easy enough to ease in. Adult content.
I was given an ARC of this in exchange for an honest review.
I am a huge fan of Lisa J Hobman and her stories. I went into this story with high expectations as i do with all of her of beautiful books and she blew me away!!!!! Even i though Lisa gives us a happy ever after, The Worst Of Me leaves you feeling like you have been put through the wringer. She is an absolute genius of a writer with the ability to make her readers feel everything, the characters are going through, who seems to go from strength to strength with her writing.
The Worst Of Me is an emotional roller coaster of a read, with twists and turns that make you want to keep reading on. I loved Catriona, "Cat for short", she was strong and she was feisty! Everything i love in a leading lady. Nick, on the other hand, for a rock star was humble and down to earth! I absolutely loved reading the journey that these characters took together!
This story just reminded why i love Lisa J Hobman. I gave it 5 MASSIVE stars!
Nick is having a rethink on life and needs to escape the high life, the pressure, stress, his manwhore ways and goes to a little town in Scotland he once remembers a fiery red headed maid tell him about.
Cat is utterly shocked when Nick turns up at her fathers Inn and does what she can to make him go away. Nick had no idea she would be there, their previous encounter was brief in a hotel suit in London while Cat was working there and Nick just remembered the name of the town and in his desperation aimed for the little town he thought he could lay low in.
A love hate relationship develops slowly moving to friendship and later love.
A sweet romantic read, filled with Cat's doubts, fears and the need to trust along with a few dramas.
Told in third person so you don't get the full impact of the characters thoughts and feelings but you do get a good plot with a heartwarming hea.
This one struck at my heart. Nick is the rock star who everyone loved, his life was east, lots of money and woman coming at him from every corner. One night or morning I guess lol after another night of booze and a woman, he met a sassy housekeeper who basically had no time for him and truthfully didn't even like him. They talked for a bit and then went their separate ways. Nick loved his music and has a passion for it but not for the stuff that went along with it. After an incident at the airport, he went into a total panic attack. After going to the hospital and being told he didn't have a heart attack but a panic attack he knew it was time to get away from it all. His Mum talked him into just leaving town for a while and not knowing where to go he remembered the made and her talking about her quiet little home town. He went there and well his life pretty much changed from that. Read and see what happens. Lots happen but I loved and well was heart broken over some parts but always keep in mind HEA.
I love this author and I loved this story just as I loved all her other books..her ability to make you love the characters and their story is her strong point. Nick is not the usual rock star..well at the beginning he is, but he soon realises that there is more to life than booze and sex. He remembers Cat, the fiery Scottish redhead and the town she so fondly mentions..and that's where he decides to go. There he meets Cat and that’s where the story picks up.. The two are not really fond of each other but with time the relationship changes..and it's lovely seeing them change and get a shot at something beautiful. Even when I got frustrated I knew there would be a reason to explain it all, so I wasn't worried ;) The author does a great job in bringing not only the characters together, but the love for the background where the story is set..I always admire the way she describes places..it's inspiring and makes me want to explore.
I was really looking forward to reading this book! The description had me hooked and I fell in love with the book cover. There was also a really good amount of promotion around this book, which got me really excited. But I was also worried that it would not live up to my expectations, thankfully I was wrong! This book is great!
I loved the storyline and how the rockstar came to his life altering decision. The visuals in this book were very detailed from the way Nick looked to the beauty of the town.
Nick’s character is stereotypical rock start with a good guy side waiting to be released. I really enjoyed seeing the transformation. Cat is extremely feisty almost to a fault. She stood up for what she believed in but at times I felt she went a little too far.
This story definitely held up to the hype that was surrounding it and I will definitely read more by this author!
This is my first read by this author and what a great read this was. I pretty much read this in one sitting. It was a really great read.
Nick the rock star decides he needs a break, takes the recommendation of a maid he met and ends up in Gairloch. Nick gets more than he bargains for when he meets Cat again. These are two very strong stubborn characters. I loved Nick straight away but Cat had to grow on me.
I thought I had read my full of rocker books however thanks to this author the feels have all come back.
This was a well written story with a good storyline and enough twists to keep me gripped.
This was a first time read for me by this author. I really enjoyed reading The Worst of Me this was a good book to read and enjoy. I really thought this was a good rocker romance book. I was hooked on the first page and was glued to every page. I thought the characters were great they both were stubborn in their own ways and head strong they both rocked the story though. Nick Dacre is the epitome of a rock legend he is a lady's man and gets every handed to him. When he is on tour in London he meets Cat and things turn upside down for them both but there story was so worth it. I will be looking forward to more of Lisa's work in the future.
I have only read a couple of books like this book, but as always Lisa's way of telling a story is fab! At the beginning I wanted to jump into the book and give Cat a slap and tell her to give the poor guy a break. Lol but that changed when the love shone through.
Nick is a character that everyone will love. Hos love for music and family is beautiful, but it was nice to see a happy ending...is there going to be more from Nick? I do hope so, because it would be good to see what happens between him and Cat, and the band of kids that Nick has mentored.
A fab story by Lisa J Hobman. I would say one of the best I've read by her, so far.
I love a good rockstar romance and this one did not disappoint! Nick Dacre, a world famous rockstar suffers a severe panic attack after being accosted by fans at an airport and decides to step away from the band to get some perspective. He ends up in the Scotish Highlands, and what a beautiful place this was expained as being, makes you want to travel there to see if firsthand. He tries to befriend Cat but things do not go according to plan.. Cam, her fiance, and many crossed wires leads to a lot of heartbreak and angst. But can two people who lead such different lives overcome these hurdles? One can only hope.
Nick Dacre was looking for to get away from his rockstar life for a while after having a near melt down. He flees to a little town in the highlands that a cheeky young redhaired women once told him about. While trying to get himself back on track he comes face to face with the young women who is not at all thrilled to see him there in her home town. He finally convinces her to give him a chamce to prove hes not the person she thonks him to be and they become so much more than either one of them can imagine they would be. Although the road to happyness is bumpy and they have to get over their own insecurities to get their HEA. Amazing story.
