The best starter book to understand the essence of Vedas. Many myths regarding vedas propagated by ill baked western 'scholars' like Max Muller, Englishmen, leftists who didn't have any understanding of our culture have been busted in this book. So many interesting points like how these were passed on to the Humans throw a completely new perspective of God Human interaction. The Vedas seem to be the most inclusive and most advanced ancient text that dont encourage killing of non believers, say that earth was flat and was created in one week, etc. The concepts are for eternity that hold true even today. All the caste related and mysogynist things were introduced by the westerners who made the slaves believe of their version of Vedas. All in all, last two generations have missed a golden opportunity to imbibe the most liberal yet ancient knowledge thanks to physical and mental slavery. I am hoping to read the vedas one by one thanks to this book.
