This book was just not for me. I had a hard time reading it, I didn't like the writing style. It was much more "tell" than "show". The characters were not very likeable, and more than half of the secondary characters were borderline crazy. The two mains fell in love at first sight, which wasn't believable. Not to mention the way all the characters spoke and acted, did not seem realistic.
I almost did not finish this book, the only reason I did was to find out who the stalker was. There's no real reason why the stalker did what they did. I guess just because they were another crazy character.
The reason I wanted to read this story was because one of the mains has agoraphobia. I though it could have led to excitement for a thriller story. It didn't really, a missed opportunity for the author. And then at the end of the book, the agoraphobia is cured just like that, yay happiness. Whatever, just all around disappointing!

First time reading from this author and must say I truly enjoyed this one. My only wish was that Noella would have gotten a slap she so definitely needed. :)

Excellent mystery & romance

“I want to live again, but I don’t know how to let you go, and I don’t know how to stop being afraid all the time. I don’t know how to love again…”

“I wrote my first book when I was young and idealistic. By my third book, I was madly in love with Leigh. I wrote this last book while deeply depressed. Everything I had in me, I put into those books. Now I have nothing left to put down on paper.”

“It’s so unfair that we didn’t have enough time together. I never thought of growing old with anyone else but you. And now… honey, what do I do now?”

A gentle romance about finding love again after loss intertwines itself in to a suspenseful mystery to identify & capture a stalker that has already killed over their obsession.

Was very entertaining to read, loved the characters, would definitely welcome a sequel to catch up with their lives & how things progressed for them afterwards. All in all, a enjoyable pleasure to read.

This was better than the first person writing of some of her other books. A lot of narrative.

Another excellent book!
Although I enjoyed the Riches series, this book seemed more pleasing. As much mystery as romance, the book had so many things happening it was like standing in the center of a whirlwind. Rather than being confusing, it was just busy with options and characters that were fun to meet.

Honestly, although complete, it could have been twice as long and still been enjoyable. There was so much more that could be said, stories left untold.

Anne's fairytales were without exception sweet and wonderful. Bringing a smile with each one.

One of the best!

This was a great book that I was sad to finish. The author did a wonderful job with the characters, and left me wanting more. I recommend this book to mystery fans, but it was also a psychological thriller along with some lesbian romance, but the romance was the least of the book for me. I look forward to more from the author!
