The story was ok but it definitely read like a new adult book where the characters haven't quite yet caught up in age. The Razor narrative felt very "try hard". Like he was so cool. Cocky is something I usually like but here I found it annoying most times. The first few chapters caused a legit eye roll and I was close to DNFing. Razor's dad was a grade A douche and that relationship made me sympathize a little more with Razor. The chemistry between Razor and Carly didn't feel fulfilled. Attraction? Yes. More? Not really sure. The plot was all over the place but interesting enough. All in all a decent read but I was expecting more. Safety: No OM/Sharing. H starts off the book in a explicit sexual encounter with OW. Condoms sometimes. h was a V. No rape. There is physical abuse. There is pushing away.

This is my type of book- the stepbrother in love with his stepsister book. And who better to tell the story than Lauren Landish. This isn’t just the stepbrother loves stepsister book. It has suspense, trust issues, hot and steamy sex scenes, and just to let you know, these characters are over 18 yo.
Carly has loved her stepbrother Mason for as long as she could remember. Then he just disappeared out of her life as if he never existed. When that happened, she gave up on letting anyone else in-that way she wouldn’t be hurt as Mason hurt her. She moved on with her life and is now working as a journalist, albeit has some lean times and hard times.
Several Years go by and suddenly on her doorstep is Mason—he needs Carly’s help and she is helpless to refuse him. Mason aka Razor has been and is a hacker and a pretty good one. He has been hired to get into SFPD to retrieve a video that will expose a corrupt mayor & solve the murder of a prostitute. But things didn’t go as planned because he sort of got caught. He needs a place to hide –hide from the authorities, his nutty ex girlfriend , his dad and the hacker group Anonymous".
Now Mason has to protect not only himself but Carly. The chemistry between these two are insanely great. As the reader, we get to see the story between these two and the angst and pain is there but also the heat and chemistry is awesome. There is a huge trust issue between the MC after all these years but they work toward this as Mason is working toward saving himself and Carly. There are twists and turns as they work to stay alive. The ending is outstanding and the HEA will make you swoon with happiness for Mason and Carly.

I received for a honest review. I just love Lauren Landish’s books.
Carly wanted so bad to make it as a journalist. We was at the moment working as a blogger waiting for her moment to make it big. She was surprised when a banging came at her door one day and to find her that it was her annoying stepbrother. She found him just as good looking as every.
Mason aka Razor was on the run. He had hacked the government’s system to down load a video. He worked for a group called Anonymous. They wanted the video to blackmail and expose Mayor Bradley James for murder.
Razor knew he messed up. He let his attention get side tract all because of the woman going down on him. Now he was exposed and a wanted man. He needed to run. There was only one person he could trust and that was his stepsister Carly. Mason had it bad for Carley and things are going to get sticky in more ways then one.
I loved the little stories the author included of Razor and Carly’s past. It help explain a lot of how they came to place they were today. Razor will find himself on the run. Razor has more then the law after him, he has a crazy ex as well.
Maddy, Razor’s ex, is obsessed with Razor. She wants to make him pay. She will so what ever it takes to make him pay even if it includes his family. Carly will find herself in danger. She can only hope Razor gets to her in time.
This is a great story and yes it has a HEA.

When you're a hacker that gets caught you've got big problems. Mason is great at what he does. He been hacking since he was a kid. His fingers are fast to fly over a keyboard as well as all the women he seems to go through. Working for an underground hacking group trying to bring people corrupting the government to light, Mason uncovers something that may get him jailed, or worse, killed. He turns to the one person he trusts and the only person he's ever loved--his step-sister Carly.

I was gifted with an ARC of "Razor" for an honest review. I've read multiple books by Lauren Landish & they keep getting better, I think I have another favorite author!!! Mason "Razor" & Carly are step-siblings & haven't seen each other since he walked out after a huge family fight. Razor is a hacker & a great one at that, he has been given the task of breaking in to the SFPD to retrieve a video that will expose a corrupt mayor & solve the murder of a prostitute, bringing closure to her family but he gets caught. Razor needs help & the only person he can think of, that he can trust, is his stepsister Carly a struggling journalist. They are pursued not only by the authorities but also a crazy ex-girlfriend, of all people his dad & the group "Anonymous" that Razor was working with, Mason didn't realize exactly how much danger he put himself & Carly in. The heat between these 2 while trying to keep a low profile is Amazing!! The back story so the reader knows and understands the history of the feelings they've had toward each other all these years, is fantastic!! Wait til you see the battle Mason & Carly wage to keep their relationship strictly brother/sister, professional & keeping themselves alive with everyone after them. LOVED this book!!!

Landish weaves together these tales that leave you craving more with every page! At the end, you're wondering how in the world she created the story that left you with one crazy book hangover?? So, absolutely loathed Mason...seriously don't think I have ever hated a character more and that's saying something. He was so arrogant and selfish that if I could have reached through the book and bitch slapped him I would have...many times. There are so many more colorful words I have for him but didn't want to get flagged. And why she had been "saving" herself for him (said with distaste) I have no idea. I mean he spent years flaunting every single "conquest" (I use the term loosely) in her face....and there were many, many, many. At first you feel sorry for her but then she becomes pathetic and you loathe her too. This was the hardest book I ever had to read....glad it is over. The relief is real. Don't bother, not worth it...even if it was free.

What do you do when you get caught online doing something you're not suppose to be doing? Even if it is for the right reasons somehow the waters get too hot. One place can be safe temporarily. In a dangerous game of hide and seek from three sources when it becomes a battle of keeping safe, keeping her safe and getting justice. Meeting up with the past brings up some trials he just might not be able to resist and fighting on the home front becomes just as dangerous as he fights to escape keeping them both alive.
Great read with corruption, danger, and fighting for what the heart wants.

I received this for my honest review. I really enjoyed reading this, Mason aka Razor and Carly are step siblings, Razor walked out of her life years early and she didn't see him that is until he showed up on her door step on the run, he was in trouble as he had hacked into a police data base to get a video of a murder. Carly was a journalist who had her owe blog trying to make it and waiting on her big break, both had feelings for each other but never told each other as they thought it could never be. This is full of action in all sense of the word and I think you will enjoy what you read, that said with what goes on between them you will be hating and loving some of the great characters.

Awesome. I have been blown out of the water with this one. I think this one is my favourite by far. The story was gripping, suspenseful, dramatic and of course had that fantastic tension between the main characters. Mason and Carly. They have tried to keep their feeling suppressed and secret, but that cat soon escapes the bag. And whoa boy, when they finally give in to these feelings. Sizzling hot!! This was just a great story told in a fabulously intriguing way, by an incredible author. I just loved everything about the book, and this author just gets better and better.

A sassy heroine and an arrogant hero... It's an unlikely combo even without adding the fact that they've been step-siblings for years. Mason and Carly are great characters inside of a strong story. I liked the plot, it was pretty thorough and entertaining, with a few good twists and turns. This isn't the first books I've read by Lauren Landish, and it won't be the last!

This book was crazy! It was a unique stepbrother storyline. Definitely full of laughs and shocks! You need to read this book. It was great. Totally kept ya on the edge of your seat. I'm not a big stepbrother storyline fan. That being said I really enjoyed this novel. I've found a few stepbrother books that I've honestly enjoyed. But this is one of my favorites.

Don't forget the heat that ignites between a Mason and Carly!!! Wow, I think i would do my stepbrother If he was anything like Mason! Yummy! Another must read by Lauren Landish!

This was a book I received as an ARC and enjoyed it. Razor was working for a group named Anonymous and when in trouble turned to the only person he knew who could help, his stepsister, Carly. What happens is probably more realistic than we know. Truly a good read.

Was looking forward to reading this book as if just finished reading the 1st book in series but Carly annoyed me with her whining and childish behavior. She supposedly graduated with degree in journalism but when comes into evidence first thing she’s consumed with is her stepbrother and his body and her lost for him and he has to remind her she can’t contact a murder victim’s mother regarding the evidence she’s been privy to while she and stepbrother have to release info safely?
Also not clear at what age they become step siblings, if already almost adults I guess it’s understandable but if they grew up together as children then yeah this is weird for what is them likely to become a couple.
Was interested in how Mason and Madeline/Maddy story line come together but Carly’s character just annoyed me and I hate to not finish a book once I’ve become interested in a character.

Razor was so full of himself it was disgusting. Carly was such a stupid dumb ass. She lusted after her step brother and was always finding him screwing around. She just didn't see why he never gave her his attention unless it was to pick on her. Mason wanted her also but used any and every girl to stay away from her.
For me this book was so childish at times. Carly's actions were embarrassing at times. Razor bragged about what he was packing and what he could do wiht it. Really that's how you talk to get a girl. YUCK!!!
The side story was just a waste and didn't add anything to the story especially Maddy. Who cares, didn't make the book more interesting.

This isn't my first book to read by Lauren Landish and will not be my last. I loved how she went with a computer hacker. It was something different instead of the MMA fighter, Mobster, MC Member, or a Prince. I think one reason I like the hacker story line was because I love my computer and I have 2 computer degrees. She grabbed my attention at the beginning of the book and kept it till the end of the book. The characters worked into the story line perfectly. At times I wanted to strangle Razor, then I wanted to jerk him out of the book and beat the crap out of him, oh and don't even get me started on his dad and Carly's mother!!!!! Yep, lots of emotions felt while reading this book, don't want to give anything away. I recommend this book to mature readers over the age of 18 because of the violence and the extreme SEX involved.
Razor (Mason) and Carly are step brother and step sister and they have feelings for each other. Each trying to not to give into their feelings for each other when they were younger and living at home, and each are doing it in their own way. Razor is screwing everything he can to try and fill the void he feels not being able to have Carly, and Carly is jealous of the women Razor brings home and she is sort of stand offish to him. Carly's jealousy causes a real ruckus at their home and Razor leaves.
Carly is living sort of off the grid and trying to get her life to going after graduating from college. She wants to work for a newspaper and she has a blog that she wants to take off. She is also trying to help a lady find some answers to the death of her daughter. Her life is disrupted when a blast from the past resurfaces after she had worked so hard to get a handle on her feelings. Does she help him? Or does she tell him to get lost?

I lived it, I was on tender hooks all the way through, from the start when we first met Mason *RAZOR* and Carly in their teens where you can feel the early stages of when someone falls for someone who they can't admit it to. But when Mason upt and left her behind with her Mom and his Dad.
& then we pick up again when she's out of college and making ends meet by doing journalistic blogs and living out in the middle of woodland in a cabin and Main is still being the Man-Whore like he was as a teen but now he's a very successful hacker & as coincidences go they're both working on the same dirty except he finds the story whilst she's doing what she can liking into it.
But I tell you what when he turns yo at hers things start to change for the both of them whilst he's on the run not by just the law who's police files he hacked into but a crazed ex. After she tells him she's always loved him & he tells her the same but he repeats history and she thought that this was it until she runs him and he hears the way it all of sudden stopped he knew she was in more danger on her own than if he was there.
He goes to her rescue but will hire be able to get there without to much damage and when he does what was he going to do, leave her again or take her on the run with him and it's the circumstances during this period of time.
I adored this couple and how strong and loving you see they are together.

Let me tell you something, Lauren Landish really knows how to create a yummy specimen of a man!!! Mason Keller, aka Razor, is just to die for....literally!! As dangerous with technology as he is with women he will make us discover the world of hackers, politicians, policemen and how they mesh together to fight or help corruption! Interesting and well written, this book will get and keep your attention from the first page! Thrilling with a big scale of cat and mouse game and full of angst thanks to the super sexy characters and the hot chemistry in Mason and Carly's little taboo relationship, you won't be able to put it down!!!! Emotional and deep at certain moments, it exposes the psychological scars of a bad childhood and the difficulty of merging two families with already grown children!!! I had a blast reading it and loved every minute of it. And honestly, i thought it ended to quickly!!! But it might be my greediness and wanting more of Mason!!!! And beside, an awesome surprise awaits at the end of "Razor".... A bonus story that soothes the loss, "Addicted" also by Lauren Landish, and let's just say that it does take your mind of the loss!!!

Razor (Mason) is very talented and intelligent but not so smart about women. He had strong feelings for his step-sister but pushed them aside and instead spent years with women that meant nothing to him. When he is in a bad situation, the only one he trusts is her.
Carly had feelings for him too and was heartbroken when he disappeared. His reappearance brings a real threat to her heart and to her physical safety. Razon has gotten involved in a situation that could be deadly for them both. The desire between them is intense and it has kept Carly focused on her career instead of lovers.
I enjoyed the story. Razor does not start out as a real hero. He pretty much takes what is offered with little concern for the feelings of others. It takes him really dealing with his history and feelings to make him understand the consequences of his actions. Carly is a strong woman who is very direct and honest. She wants so much more for her life than just doing a blog. Her feelings for Mason are strong and she is very forgiving of his past behavior (much more than I would be).
