This is a rather significant book about the Hypothalamus and how hormones affect every aspect of a person's life. The thing I didn't enjoy about the book is the fact that it was a long commercial for the author's product, Genesis Gold. Having said that, I must admit that only through reading this book did I see why she thought her products were so valuable to Americans.

When she revises this book (hopefully), the author will allow the images to be larger (specifically, the writing with those images). I found it particularly difficult to read.

I am reading this a second time because there are so many elements to the hypothalamus and our bodies, that it is hard to grasp them all in one reading. More information and relationships between facts were more understandable the second time.

After finishing the book a second time, I decided to order her product. What she says makes sense. Doctors treat symptoms; they don't seem to be geared to curing. I'd done research of my own and was already taking many of the ingredients listed in her product. Thus, I already knew that what she was offering was precisely what is needed for health.

Essentially this is an infomercial for her pricey products. a single canister of her Genesis Gold powder ranges from $150. to 184. depending on the site. she doesn't tell you in this book what it contains, only about her (altruistic) motivation and how it all came to her in a heavenly dream. That being said there is some good if basic information in here about hormones and the endocrine system. I applaud her for eschewing the medical establishment and insurance industry. Her tips for becoming an informed consumer of medical services is spot on. However, her writing is rather a mish-mash of basic science, personal story and patient anecdotes. Makes for a choppy read and I wasn't keen on the sales pitch for her enigmatic product. line. 2.5 stars

Yea
I liked this book
The author has a lot of experience, education, and intuition when it comes to the healthcare field
My favorite part of the book was the first 1/3 where she describes how hormones work
This was the main reason i picked up the book and the author did not disappoint
She does mention a lot in the book about a “miracle” product that she has created with no specifics on whats in it or what makes it successfully
I would recommend this book for anyone wanting to get some basics on hormones

The book was insightful but it was also trying to sell the author's product which got quite annoying at many points. It does provide an in depth understanding of how hormones work to noobs like me. Since am a noob I can't be sure if it was as insightful as I thought but it definitely made me rethink and redo a lot to take better care of my health and the results were positive. So yayyy for me!

Infomercial in writing.

If the author is telling the truth about her success then more power to her. I did not find anything useful in this e-book.

Excellent info

Hormone queen indeed! This book is very informative but seems like an ad for her product. I suppose it is at that, and a good thing!
