It does what the series sets out to do: provide solid, applicable commentary to supplement the study of the letter in easy-to-digest sections without missing the depth of the text. Finishing up my study on 1 Peter. This was one of the commentaries I used for my study. The book was an easy read. Not too hard theologically. The last part of the book was excellent. It talked about why Peter wants us to stand firm in the faith. The author did a good job summarizing the whole book of Peter to answer that question. Good short commentary.
