This is the second newer book by Ashley Hunter that has a serious bout of deja vu. Sorry...that just doesnt happen. Too much of a coincidence! Although SOME parts are different there are like some word for word stuff I've read before! Like the part when Zalla finds May chained and beaten by a cousin he left. Ohhh I've so read that before! Then they battle it out and he kills his cousin for touching his woman. Seriously, I've read something like it before. I mean is she just taking parts from others' work and adding it to her stories? I dont think I can read from her anymore. I used to read her stuff a lot then for some reason like a year ago I stopped. I'm gonna have to go back through my reviews to figure out why. I'd hate to report people but seriously its strangely familiar. I read a ton so I can understand why some people might not catch it. Maybe she did it before and thats why I stopped reading. I dunno. Gonna think for a couple days and go over old reviews.
Anyways, as far as the story goes its alright I guess. I'm not too keen this guy is a rapist of women til he meets Zalla then all the sudden he wants to change. That rubbed me wrong actually. Also, after that whole heart to heart speech he has he hid the fact he KNEW about May being abused and tortured doesnt sit well either.

Where to even start? How about the "hero" is a fucking rapist but OF COURSE it's not his fault. No, it's his BARBARIC culture (which for extra points was created by the females of his species ) and it needs the power of virgin Earth pussy to save it APPARENTLY. SO do not recommend. Also, it's lack of editing was horrendous and painful.

This was not bad but nothing really exciting either. It lacked depth and connection for me. It got three stars because it was written well with few editing errors. Applaud anyone who tries putting pen to paper.
