Rate this book
After meeting Jerry Caldecott and spending Christmas with him and his family in the Christmas resort at Lavender, Texas, lonely young McKinley Alva wonders if she has mistaken a light romance for everlasting love when he goes missing without word to her. But then, threatened herself, she discovers Jerry has been abducted and goes looking for him in the small time-locked town of Lavender, which she discovers is a whole lot more than a resort get-away. This was different. I like that Lavender is situated in its own time bubble. This book is a pleasant way to spend an hour or so.

Wonderful science fiction- fantasy

Entertaining, suspenseful, well told story, of past and future. I especially liked that there was romance, but no lurid sex detail to ruin the story.
