This picture book belonged to a parent when they were young, so we thought we would give it a read. The story is intentionally absurd, about a soap so slippery that it makes its way across town, ending in a park fountain where the child protagonist finishes their bath. The youngest member of the household was one part amused by the constantly-escaping soap and one part horrified at the implied public nudity at the ending of the story.
