I live an incredible life--is that my fault? Should I stop having fun, meeting beautiful women, sleeping with beautiful women--just to make everyone else feel better that their lives aren't half as exciting as mine?
No, I didn't think so.
Unfortunately, my father has other ideas. And now I've got one week to convince him and the rest of my old school, English family that I've changed my wild ways and settled down with a "proper" girl.
The problem?
Claire's not what I expected. She's not my type ... only, she's making me feel things I've never felt before. This was not part of the plan. And now everything is in danger of being ruined...
Claire
Meeting Landon could be the best thing that's ever happened to me ... or the worst.
He's handsome, arrogant, brash and richer than God. Or he will be if I can help him for just one week, convincing his family that we're actually in love and not just scheming to help him inherit the family business.
If the plan works, he'll pay me a quarter of a million dollars.
But if he finds out who I really am, he'll call off our deal.
And I can't let that happen. Not just because I desperately need the money ... but because every second I spend with Landon feels like I'm in the best kind of dream. And when he touches me, everything stops and it's as if the world is holding its breath.
Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I'm addicted.
Or maybe I'm about to make the biggest mistake of my life ... falling in love with a man who can't be trusted.
Frankie Love writes filthy-sweet stories about bad boys and mountain men. As a thirty-something mom to six who is ridiculously in love with her own bearded hottie, she believes in love-at-first-sight and happily-ever-afters. She also believes in the power of a quickie.
❤️ Get ready to fall in love ... you deserve it! ❤️
This was a good book, I did like the storyline for the most part. I was all for Landon, the hero. I wasn't too happy about the heroine. she had a lot of issues through the ENTIRE story. At least one was a non issue. I didn't think it was cool that she went behind Landon's back and told his story to his parents without even consulting him first. He wasn't even there to defend himself and she didn't even ask him first or even warn him ahead of time. Her attitude and excuse for doing that was just petty. I'll read the rest in the series but I wish we can get some smart, intelligent, reasonable female characters that have an alpha male come to the rescue. Shrews are hard to like.

This is the second series of Vegas bad boys. Landon King is heir to the Kings Diamond jewelry fortune. He has always played loose and never spent the night with the same woman twice. Then he meets Claire. She changes everything for him in one dance ant Ace and Emmy's wedding. Good book and a great HEA!
