Lark Adams is the dark urban fantasy author of the Twisted Eventide series, first novel published October 23rd, 2013 titled Snow Covered Moon. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Lark graduated from Polytechnic Institute in 1999, she received two Associates degrees one in computer aided drafting and another in mechanical engineering. But her true passion and love has always been for the written word. She’s currently working on the next book in the Echoes of Time series.
When not designing mechanical systems she enjoys reading a good novel, drinking a good cup of coffee and letting the words on the page take her to new exciting places.
I loved seeing this side of Luey. His softness in this short does not take away from the alpha male that he is. Only adds to his strength. Loving getting to know Luey.
I'm not even sure where to begin...I've been curious about Lucien from the moment we meet him in A Snow Covered Moon and each book the layers on this man are peeled back one by one...and I am enjoying the unfolding. Lucien has grown by leaps and bounds from the feral beast of a man we were introduced to. While he is still a beast at his core he is learning to be content with himself and the things he desires. He is learning to bend. Good is so much different from Bad but in a Good way (ha see what I did there?)
Even when Luey is being an impossible beast he makes it so good. We also get a glimpse into some events to come that I for one can't wait until are revealed. We see a bit of Luey's past coming to the surface and the reasoning for some of his behavior is starting to make sense. Luey is such a complex character and I feel he doesn't get his due and praises nearly enough. I look forward to his presence and I feel a sense of calm when he's mentioned. There is more than the untamed man we've been shown.
This was a great appetizer while waiting for Sacred Bones to be published. It may be a fun little short but the information revealed is some you do not want to miss. I promise you it will be explored more later and you're not going to want to miss the tidbit that was mention here. As long as a Twisted Eventide book/short is written I'll be reading it.
Luey! Loved this little dark a twisted view into Luey ❤ Though I've always been Team Jack I now know it's because we have yet to see what's beneath his cracked soul. I have to have more please.
