On the heels of Netflix's "Making a Murderer" and HBO’s "The Jinx" comes a tale unlike any other… A man sits in a cell awaiting execution. Death by electric chair. Seventeen dead bodies spanning six states. DNA doesn’t lie. But his friends and family don’t believe the evidence. They cling to his innocence. And the murderer himself has never confessed. No Confession is the story of Clyde Lee. Told through the voices of those that knew him best, journalist Deborah Perch takes us on a harrowing journey through the life and times of the most infamous serial murderer in United States history.
I love that the story was told through interviews. I found myself quickly invested in the characters and could not put it down. Look forward to more books by T.H. Koch!
I was patiently waiting as each person was interviewed, to figure out who ready murdered all the different people. I didn't think it was Clyde but was not sure who it was, George was an option. I was surprised by the ending, it just left me hanging. I hope there is to be a sequel to finalize the cliffhanger of this novel. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys mysteries.
I loved the format of this book. Very interesting and compelling. Kept me on my toes. Liked the way the author steadily developed and built the characters. Would highly recommend it for all who love a new kind of criminal mystery. Discovered this book reading others reviews which peaked my curiosity.
