Up In Flames series, book #2

When a woman delivers a package to the fire station, Gabriel takes one look at it and throws her to the floor - right before it explodes. With a rattled and very feisty woman beneath him, his body’s reaction makes him wonder if his lover, Joey, will welcome a third in their bed.

Discovering that her ex sent her to deliver the package and that she’s in danger forces Gabriel’s protective instincts to the frontline. He has no choice but to take her to the only place she’ll be truly safe - the apartment he shares with Joey.

While Joey was looking forward to a night in with Gabriel, he can’t deny that Jayla adds a bit of spice - especially when the springs of the guest bed start squeaking. Between her little moans through the paper-thin walls and Gabriel’s restlessness, Joey doesn’t think he’ll survive a night let alone weeks of having Jayla there.

Infuriated that her ex put her in harm’s way and that the police can’t prove he is the one starting fires around the city with the same lethal mixture of chemicals, Jayla is determined to uncover the facts on her own. Only that means dragging the new hunky men in her life through the flames. And they don’t deserve to be burned.

The only way Jayla is leaving Gabriel and Joey’s sight is if she goes into witness protection and she’s far safer in their bed, sandwiched between them.

Will they be able to convince their insatiable ward to let them handle the situation before any more buildings go up in flames - and she becomes the target?

An MMF Firefighter Romance.

Super hot, quick, mmf read. The h though, was tstl at times. And the whole arson plot was totally out of the realm of believability but I still enjoyed it.

Hot read! Second in the series. I love this firehouse. I love the mix of people involved. This story is about three people finding their place with each other. Their love is strong and must be to survive the trials coming their way. Jayla's past threatens her very life as well as many others. Gabriel instantly feels a need to prove her innocence and to protect her, and brings her into his personal life with Joey. There is an immediate spark between the three strong characters, and I enjoyed watching them come to terms with all that happens around them. I definitely recommend this story.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review and honestly... Under Control is good, fast, sexy, steamy, and romantic, with some naughty thrown in that will make your toes curl. If you want a book to get lost in for a couple hours, this is the one for you.

I really enjoyed this book!

Gabe and Joey are in a committed and loving relationship. However they feel something is missing that could complete their circle. Gabe meets that person in the form of Jayla who is sent to deliver a package to the chief with the intent that it will kill him and her.

Jayla is is intrigued by the two men. She knows they are putting themselves on the line by letting her stay with them.

I loved each and every one of these characters and the sexy times were hot!!!

This book is really hot times two. This is the second book in the Up in Flames series, and it is hot enough to go up in flames. I read Book One before reading this one. You would not have to read it prior to reading this one, but I would recommend for you to do so for two reasons. First, it is really good, and second, it was lots of fun catching up with some of the people from the first book in this one. There is really some steamy man on man action between Gabriel, the hunky fireman, and Joey, the sexy bartender. Then when Jayla comes to live with them for her safety, this just adds another delicious piece to the puzzle. At the same time, there is lots of suspense with them trying to locate Jayla's ex that has been setting fires around that has not only caused property damage, but lives as well. This is a well written suspenseful menage romance. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review. I highly recommend this book, as long as you are good with the MMF action.

I think this author wrote the book on sexy!

Can you get a PhD in hotness? This author would deserve one as… Whew! I need to catch my breath. I think I just devoured the sexiest, hottest, thigh-clench-iest book I’ve read in a while.

There are three people in this relationship and what is usually double the heat is now triple, and quickly reaching the inferno stage. From start to finish the sexual tension jumps from peak to higher peak. With a few moments here and there to fill in the blanks on character development and storyline the focus is on Gabriel, Joey and Jayla as they merge into a loving threesome.

When Gabriel and Jayla meet the sparks are real and so is the danger. With his protective streak in high gear, Gabriel can’t help but want to keep Jayla safe, and close, as he takes her home to meet his mister, Joey. The heat and loving between Gabe and Joey is simply off the charts and Jayla agrees as she admires them from not that far away…

Jayla fits into their sexy sandwich with ease and what was hot just became, indescribably hotter. I am really focusing on the lovin’, aren’t I? It is hard not to as this book was finger-burning from start to finish. Each of the characters brought their own unique personality to the mix and they mixed incredibly well! Jayla may be the most unsure of the bunch and asserts her independence at every turn. Things are happening fast so the uncertainty added a realistic touch to a fast-moving relationship.

An irresistible trio, mixed with a mysterious plot, created a fun, sexy and entertaining read I did not want to put down or finish! I’ll be re-reading this again as I wait impatiently for more in a series that is only getting better!

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

This is the second book/novella in the Up In Flames series. I think, having read both, that you need to read the first in the series before this novella. They are both stand alone books in that they each tell a certain couple's story, but the arsonist theme continues from the first novel.

This novella starts out when an unsuspecting Jayla delivers a bomb to the fire station where Gabriel works. She was asked to make a delivery, for her ex, to the Chief. The Chief wasn't there, so Gabriel goes to meet Jayla. When he sees what she's carrying, he believes it to be a bomb. She drops it in fear and he "saves" her. Gabriel then invites Jayla to stay with he and his boyfriend--Joey.

Both men begin to realize what's missing in their relationship--Jayla. Jayla, not wanting "her" men to get injured by her ex, decides to investigate the arsons herself. Although the ending was fairly predictable, it was a really good novella! I highly recommend this novella if you enjoy HOT firefighters & HOT sex!

I really loved this story with Gabriel and Joey. The 2nd book in this series is just as good as the 1st book. Jayla is sent to the fire station unaware she is delivering a bomb. Gabe realizes it just before it explodes. He ends up taking Jayla home with him hoping Joey is as open to having her stay as he is. Gabe and Joey are secure in their relationship and had talked about a threesome. Gabe is hoping Joey is on board with Jayla as their 3rd. Jayla is attracted to both of them but knows they are a couple and doesn't want to cause any tension between them. She's also after her ex for sending her on a suicide mission. The attraction between these 3 heat up fast but Jayla feels she needs to bring her ex down so she can enjoy her time with the guys and feel safe again. This book was given to me for an honest review.

Second book in the Up in Flames series. It’s a panty melting hot menage storyline that will have you fanning the flames. Gabriel and Joey are in a committed relationship but always knew there would be the right woman to come along to add to their mix. Jayla is just the right spice they were looking for. Having unknowingly delivered a bomb to the firehouse, Gabriel brings her home for protection. There the chemistry between the three just seemed to click making Jayla long for a relationship between them. Love this author’s writing style where the stories are scorching hot. Can’t wait for more in this series. Received an ARC copy from author for a honest review.

Love comes in many forms, and the bond between Gabriel and Joey is stronger than ever. But when a near catastrophe throws a luscious woman into Gabriel’s path, a scenario that was once mere conversation becomes a real possibility, and Joey and Gabriel’s lives may never be the same.

Under Control is a gripping and passionate story of the continued danger faced by the fire fighters of the East Street station from an unknown arsonist; and while Gabriel fights to protect the innocent, he and Joey are drawn to this fragile, yet feisty woman who has made them realise they were never quite whole.

Engaging characters and a fast-paced exciting storyline, what more could a reader want?

This is the second book in the series. The heat level is very high in this one. This escalate with the arsonist when it comes to the firehouses doorstep. Jayla's life is now in jeopardy and Gabriel is going to let anything happen to her. Gabriel and Joey are a cute couple. They have so much chemistry, but then you add Jayla to the mix things getting pretty spicy. There is great chemistry between the three of them. As these find their way in the their new situation danger of the arsonist is looming. This book has a lot of heat, but it has a good story line as well. You have passion, suspense, and heart.

I received this book for an honest review. Em Petrova owes me a new kindle, mine caught on fire!
This is book 2 in this fire crew series and it just keeps getting better.
Hot fireman Gabriel and his sexy bartender Joey meet Jayla a woman in trouble. She comes to live with them for her safety and sparks fly.
This is a well written, enjoyable menage romance. It also brings closure to the drama that was happening in book one.
For lovers of romance I highly recommend this fun, sexy read.

I would suggest having a ice-cold drink handy while reading this series. The stories keep getting hotter! This is a quick, very steamy read. I love this firehouse and hope for more stories about the men of the East Street Fire Company. I would suggest reading these stories in order due to the crossover arson investigation. Since both are short, it's very doable. Highly recommend.

Panty melting heat times two. Read and then re-read the next day since I enjoyed it so much.

Great addition to the up in flames series--warning, may make you come while reading. Good writing and a plot line to keep you on the edge of your seat. Two hunky heroes and a determined heroine.

Love a book about fireman. Gabe and Joey's chemistry was intense on its own, but add in Jayla, and you have an inferno. The ongoing arsonist theme and the decrepit East Street Firehouse issue is pretty interesting.

Hotness times three that is nowhere near Under Control!

This is the second in the Up in Flames series, but can be read as a stand alone. I think this one is even hotter and better than the first.
