FORGIVENESS

Rate this book
“Forgiveness” is a story about random violence, but mainly it’s about human kindness. Three heinous crimes are committed; a child goes missing, a family falls apart, the fragile harmony of things turns into a nightmare. A nightmare of hatred, despair and revenge. All is loneliness and nothing is quite as it seems. The murderer is punished as harshly as it takes; however, his conviction and death don’t bring redemption, not even relief. Death is the dead never come back. The heroine of this book - Antonia Cooper from Nashville, Tennessee - loses her faith, though she doesn’t really know in whom or which. Through a painful journey of feelings, she realizes that forgiveness is the only way to survive, even live. The book is not a comment on religious it’s about being good just for the sake of goodness, it’s about the sovereignty of good.
