5 Perfect Stars ..
Holy smokes this read was fantastic. Have you ever had on of those authors that you just can't help but fall a little bit in love with? Well NM Catalano gets my heart racing. The detail and depth in with this author tells her stories is amazing. I am not a fan of third person view of stories and when I first started reading I was hesitant and a little scared but that fear was for nothing because all that hesitation melted away and I got sucked right into Brian and Brooke's story. It smooth flow, sexy characters, hot sex, with a perfect blend of angst and the comical banter between this tight net group of friends sucks you right in and leaves you wanting more.
Brian I feel in love with long ago. The sexy X marine.
He has finally reach a point in his life where he wants more. He wants what his friends have, true love.
Brooke is broken. Trying to get her life back on track is not easy. She is a marine biologist. The town is in a uproar over the recent shark attacks. She has a less than pleasant past she is trying to over come. She has issues with her parents. And there is only one person who can settle her and bring her back to life and that's Brian. But after a night out with the guys
He finds that Brooke has been living a secret life. Will these two be able to overcome the events that unfold?
Overall I immensely enjoyed Perfect. Highly recommend.

SOME SPOILERS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED......
OMG! It has been some time since I read KINK, book 3 of this series but it was all definitely coming back quickly as I read PERFECT and I was again reminded how much I loved this series! I have to say that this book is as hot and steamy as the other three in the series but there are other things about this book that make it special. I never got this emotional about the other three! This book hit very close to home for me in more than one way! I experienced this same thing from both sides, I sat for 36 days while my Dad fought for his life, in a medically induced coma, on a vent. It was the hardest thing I have done in my life! Then five years later, I was the one laying in the bed. I was the one in the medically induced coma on a vent, fighting for my life, following an automobile accident. So reading this book definitely affected me emotionally. But I have to commend Nadine on the writing of this story for keeping it so real and believable. I have to say, you took me back to a time that I lived, as a family member. My Dad wasn't attached by a shark that I happened to be basically chasing but I was the helpless one watching my loved one fight for their life, and that is the hardest. You made me feel that in your writing. I FELT the love and the pain in all of Brian's family and friends. You made the tears run girl! The story is very well written and flows beautifully! The character development in this series is great but especially the development of Brian and Brooke is exceptional! I felt a complete connection to them! f I could give this MORE than five stars I would. I completely look forward to reading Hiding, book 5 of this series!

I have been waiting for this book for absolutely ages!!! With that, i'm pleased and extremely happy to say that... Damn, it was worth the wait!!! The characters were perfect (pun intended) for each other and yes as the tall blonde, blue eyed alpha... Brian has set up home in my heart!!!
Brian is feeling jealous of what his best friend John has with his girlfriend Elise, not a nasty jealousy, it's a... I really want that in my life kind! With his amazing looks, he can pick and choose who he wants, but he's got an empty feeling inside, one that can only be filled with a soul mate! When he is introduced to Brooke his breath leaves his lungs compleately and his life is about to change... Forever!!!
Brooke has her feelings locked up, every last one of them and refuses to let anyone in! After meeting Elise she finally understands what friendship is about. But when she meets Brian she is shocked at the emotions that run through her!!!
Their story is amazing and beautiful with secrets hidden deep! With a few twists they finally begin to open up to each other and things are going amazing, until a huge plot twist that literally had me sobbing!!! (remember to keep tissuses handy)
This whole book is emotional and written with an amazing passion, when the secrets unfold they are truly heartbreaking!!! The only thing left to say is that Ms Catalano has done it again... A fantastic 10/10 read that you won't want to put down... Brilliant!!!

HOLY SMOKES! N.M. Catalano is a fairly "new to me" author and every book I have read has left me with my mouth open! They are so amazing!
Brian is totally happy with the way his life is going. He's super hot (a God some would say) and apparently super talented in bed! Sign me up! I loveBrd him from the beginning! Who doesn't love a man that has a good job, great friends, an alpha and bedside manner...well that's Brian in a nutshell! But, is that that enough for him? He likes the relationship his friend, John has with his girl. Will Brian ever have that in his life? He's bored with his female lifestyle, maybe it's time. He meets Brooke, who is a Marine Biologist. Not only does this lady have brains, she's drop dead gorgeous! When Brian meets her he knows he must have her!
Thank goodness I don't require but a couple of hours of sleep a night, because once I started this because once I started this book I didn't want to put it down!! Super hot, super sexy and twists! I loved the chemistry/relationship between Brian and Brooke!! The story was very well written and was easy to get addicted to!! A must read!! Oh yea, the author definitely gave the correct title to this story because it was PERFECT!!

Perfect is the newest book in Catalano's Evolution/Stranger series and it continues the series with two perfect main characters you will be hard pressed to not fall in love with. Brian is a sexy dominant extremely alpha man who is the perfect package. He should be perfectly content with his life. He has a job he loves, great friends and women lining up to be tied up by him, but he finds himself unfulfilled. That all changes when he meets Brooke. Brooke is a Marine Biologist trying to stop a series of brutal shark attacks. She is gorgeous and men pant after her, but she hides a terrible dislike of herself and is broken inside. When she meets Brian she wants to submit to him, but finds it too difficult because of her past. Can these two strong-willed people break down each other's walls and find love? I enjoyed reading Brian and Brooke's story so much! Catalano knows how to write a great BDSM story filled with emotion. I had all the feels as I read. Another fabulous addition to the series.

I like that Brooke unnerves Brian he's used to having woman fall at his feet. Brooke is having trouble with her attraction to him, her close friend tells her straight out just drop your panties because if he's after you and from your look he's got you.

Friend see it long before they do. The perfect ladies man gets shot down in front of all of his friends. It makes him want her even more. She has the looks that other women die for but this pretty face has a massive brain that she utilizes. The tension between them is thick and life continues to toss them together. Will they become each others savior or will they crash into obliviousness.

NM Catalano definitely has a talent for writing. I really enjoyed Brian and Brooke's story; two broken people who find their way to each other. The sex scenes were off the chart HOT and I loved the added touch of the shark attacks. It brought real depth to the story line. Well done NM!

I am in total awe of NM Catalano's writing. It is phenomenal! I could not wait for the release of "PERFECT"! I fell for Brian in "Kink" and could not wait to read his story.
Brian is a hot-blooded male that has the ladies swooning after him and wanting to be with him. He has been satisfied with it until now. He feels that his life is missing something. A few of his friends are settling down and he wants to find his soul mate. Brian meets Brooke and sparks fly. Brooke is a marine biologist, that has both beauty and brains. She knows Brian's type, so she is on guard. Brian never backs down and his sights are set on making Brooke his.
This story is incrediable. It is beautifully written and has some twists and turns that keep you turning the pages. There is one hell of an ending. Make sure to keep those tissues handy because you're gonna need them. I highly recommend this story. It is a "must read". I am anxiously awaiting the next book of this series.

The first 3 books had me in a constant state of euphoria, but, this book had me begging for more. Brian is the perfect Alpha male that will make even the strongest woman submit. Brooke was broken and she guarded her heart, but, Brian showed her that it's ok to let go and love. The things he showed her, the trust he gained, the love that grew.... simply magnificent. The PERFECT man can cause a woman to discover pleasure that she didn't know existed. This book will create a journey of self-discovery that every woman should have. Perfectly written, perfectly erotic, perfectly delicious.... Brian is PERFECT! The Stranger series can be read as standalone novels.... but I have to warn you...once you start this series, you won't want it to end! You will be shocked, you will feel overwhelmed, you will feel a sense of betrayal. So many emotions in this story made for a great read. Brooke, who was broken yet so open to try something new and Brian who had the patience of a saint! Heart racing is an understatement. If you love being dominated, then this is definitely the PERFECT book for you! Solid 5 Star Read

Not my favorite of the series but still a solid read. I was mostly disappointed with the editing/proofing or lack there of. Brian and Brooke were likable characters with plenty of heat.

Brian thinks he has his whole life set. Great job, dedicated friends and a different girl every night. But as he finds his friends settling down, he realizes he's missing something...he thinks that may just be Brooke.
Despite her flawless looks and the trail of interested men, Brooke keeps to herself and is too troubled by her past to trust men...even if one of them is the gorgeous Brian Daniels.
Ok, synopsis aside, let me start by saying I was looking forward to this book because I enjoyed the first three books in the series. However, I have to say I was disappointed for a few reasons:
First, if I didn't agree to review for an ARC, this would have ended up in my DNF pile. Main reason? Brooke was a little too crazy for me. She slapped Brian across the face more than once (without just cause) and it borderlined on abusive for me. This isn't a dark romance/erotica or an animalistic-passionate romance. Since it didn't fall under those two categories, the beginning of their relationship disturbed me.
Second, It was hard to buy into their connection. The only time I read about them, they were meeting to have sex. Why the disconnect? They had mutual friends so meeting outside of the bedroom would have been easy. So, they had sex and then all of a sudden they were in love?
Third, the only person we read about outside of their relationship was Brooke. What did Brian do when they weren't together? I would have liked to read more about him.
Fourth, I know I received this book prior to editing but I wouldn't be a reviewer if I didn't at least mention the grammar/spelling errors. Hopefully it was fixed prior to publishing because it was crazy distracting.
In the end, I'm glad I didn't stop reading, though. Brooke calmed the hell down and stopped putting her hands on Brian and everything ended comfortably.

This is the first book I have read from this author and it won't be my last. I can now add Brian Daniels to my growing list of book boyfriends.
Brian appears to have it all he's drop dead gorgeous, men want to be him and women are throwing themselves at him and he can make the most strong willed women to submit to him. But slowly one by one his friends are starting to settle down. It's now Brian he realizes that he's fed up with meaningless sex and wants to find what his friends have true love a soul mate he can spend the rest of his life with.
When Brian is introduced to marine biologist Brooke he feels the air taken out of his lungs. Brooke is gorgeous and her looks could stop traffic with hee beauty. But Brooke is hiding a lot and is a broken woman inside and refuses to let anybody get close to her. When she meets Brian for the first time the attraction between the two of them is immediate but she has heard all about Brian's reputation and refuses to let herself be just another notch on his bedpost. But Brian is a man who refuses to give up and he has his set eyes on Brooke.
Brian slowly starts to show Brooke that it's ok to feel love and they embark on a journey of discovery for them both.

HOLY HELL BATMAN! I thought Kink was great, but N.M. Catalano brought the thunder with Perfect. I first met Brian in book 3, and while I liked him, I had no clue that I would fall this hard for him in the future, but I did! Brian Daniels thought he had the perfect life. He has a great job, friends, and is so hot that any woman he wants falls at his feet. But lately, he's been unsatisfied, and empty. He finds himself wishing he could find what his best friend, John, has found. The night he meets Brooke, he decides he must make her his. Brooke has the perfect face and body that stops traffic. This is another author that flips my girly girl dramatic switch, as my heart felt like it was ripped out. The character development is fantastic, with an awesome cast of secondaries. An intense, super sexy, and very well written storyline flows effortlessly. The awesome twist of sharks made it as exciting as watching shark week on TV, and the FIERY flames of sexy scene goodness that blazes out of control, will leave no panties left in its wake. N.M. Catalano's powerful writing style pulled all of my emotional feels to the surface, to where it made it hard to breathe, and my eyes leaking. She reeled me in from the beginning, and kept my heart racing cover to cover, as I didn't merely read this story, but experienced it like it was my own.
