Dr. Garman, a missionary to Peru, blends story filled with humour alongside those that challenge and sadden the reader. After reading the book, I felt I had travelled down the Amazon and been treated to glimpses of life in the jungle - but much more than that, glimpses of those hearing about Christ, and seeing their lives changed through the eyes of Dr. Garman.
