The colors represent evolution, with the gray representing creationist thought.It then shifts to modern times, where Julie, a young woman, struggles with her beliefs as she tries to figure out what she truly believes. She seeks to maintain her morality even if she loses her faith as she learns about Gray Dust.

The plot has some promise but simplistic views on religion and flat characters ruined it for me
