Minsan ko nang ibinigay ang tiwala at pagmamahal ko sa isang tao. Pero ano ang nangyari? Ginamit at sinaktan lang ako. Since that day, I vowed to never trust anyone again. I vowed to never let anyone have the chance to hurt me again. Until Paolo came.

Mali man sa paningin ng iba, handa kaming patunayan ang aming pagmamahalan. Magsasama kaming dalawa, tutuparin namin ang mga pangako sa isa’t isa at bubuo ng masayang pamilya. Everything had already been planned out. Pero bakit kung kailan masaya na ako, saka naman naging iba ang plano ng tadhana?

Binasa ko 'tong book na 'to kasi sobra akong na-curious sa writing style ng author. Na despite sa issue niya recently, may mga tao pa rin na pinagtatanggol siya dahil magaganda daw talaga mga gawa niyang stories.

To be honest, maganda nga itong story na 'to. 10 chapters lang pero ang laki ng magiging impact sa'yo. Kaso di talaga maalis sa utak ko iyong issue sa kanya. Na kung hindi pa siya i-call out ulit, hindi siya gagawa ng legit na apology video at io-own up ang mistakes niya. As much as I want to enjoy it, hindi ko magawa.

This will be the first and last book na babasahin ko from him.

This story was disappointing. Back then, when I wasn't paying attention to their age gap, I cried. I cried and read it, finished it, merely for entertainment and tears.

But I wasn't a fool.

I re-read it to make sure why I loved it.

Was there a reason why I always mentioned it to my friends? My introspectiveness always wondered.

And I ain't disappointed with the decision I made.

The first owwsic I actually finished, since I abandoned his "Diary ng Malandi, Slight Lang" as it gets preposterously comedic. I admire how owwsic delves into various genres, possibly new to him. "The Ten Year Gap" is published in Wattpad, a writing community wherein everyone can post their stories, poems, musings, etc., And due to that, it is a rarity to see well written works and unfortunately this one didn't met the cut.

It tells the story of Angeline Cruzette Sy (you know it's Wattpad when names as long as this shows up), a demonic-like child due to negligence from her parents changed into an angel as she fell in love with a man, her nanny, which is older than him by 10 years. There are 10 chapters, so it's not much of a commitment yet it's gruelling to read sometimes. Mainly due to the occasional wrong grammars and the plot holes on the story. There also wasn't much personality to the character, Angeline, and she tends to get ambiguous at times. As the story progressed into a much melancholic phase ("supposedly") it didn't affect me as the readers comment it to be. There weren't any buildup and it just sort of went in your face, and you don't care nor emphatize. Yet what made this story shine is possibly it's imperfect story. One that is new to the Wattpad community in its tragedy. The tale of love beyond age gaps. Despite the plot holes, it was admittedly enjoyable and made me understand another new perspective.

took so long for me to pick this up and read it already bcs i know what will happen in the ending but aaaa finally had the courage to read it and it did not dissapoint! i actually read the manga version of this and it was sooo good! that's why it only took me like 1 hour to read the entirety of this <3 anyways love love cruzette and pao-pao so much. 😔💗💞💘 loved how patient and understanding paolo is towards cruzette <3 shows how much he loved her. 💋

anyways, 30 pages into the book palang pero naluluha na agad ako hahahaha that's why i knew i was gonna bawl my eyes out sa ending 😆 and yup, i did. hahahaha. anyways a 4.5 star read for me ! wished it was longer tho (or was it bcs i read the manga ver kaya i think it's vv fast paced and short ???) idk lol anywhoooo, love lots, my pao-pao and cruzette. 💋💗💘

It was very fast-paced for me. I could not bring myself to pick up this book and read but I’m so glad that I finally finished it. Safe to say that I’m not fond of the big age gap trope :,) They were the cutest though and I’m glad that the ending was on a sweet note. I’m glad Angeline found someone that understood every bit of her and also found someone that will love her tremendously. I have to check out if she has a book written about her and Arman lol. All-in-all I did enjoy this book, It was just that “I couldn’t pick it up” type of book 😭 I would totally recommend.

Another tearjerker from Owwsic that’s sure to tug at your heartstrings. I really enjoyed the ending and appreciated the growth and development of the main protagonist. However, one aspect that bothered me was how easily the girl’s parents accepted the guy's status and the age gap between them. It just didn’t feel entirely realistic or comfortable. Beyond the tragic ending, the story doesn’t offer much in the way of conflict, and overall, it’s a fairly light read. While the emotional payoff is there, some of the dynamics felt a bit too smooth or unchallenged for my taste.

I read his book but it's in manga form (thank you Blackink comic for making this possible). I like how the author made his characters realistic in terms of their feelings and thoughts. Long story short the main character is in love at the guy who is way older than her hence the title of the book and it's a rollercoaster ride of emotions after finishing it. Sadly, the author has made a terrible decision about the topic of r*pe and it sparked hate towards him-- Pretty disappointed at him.

I may loved the ending plot of the story on how Angeline still moved on with her life despite her intense love for Paolo and had her own family. What I just don't like is the idea of pedo romance or the parents tolerating their relationship to happen kind of somewhat unrealistic as well in case of their different status in life that the parents just open their arms to Paolo and let them pursue such relationship.

Another tearjerker story coming from Owwsic. Love the ending bonus chapter despite the idea na inayakan ko ng super yung story. Medyo naging questionable lang sakin is yung approved ng parents ni girl yung guy despite sa status in life and age gap nila realistic ba yun? dunno pwede siguro in real life.
