Pegasus King

Rate this book
Mercy at the hands of the Pegasus King is not expected.

And mercy the broken young King Andros will not receive.

On his knees before Kaden, the warrior and king of the Pegasus throne, Andros, the young and defeated king, descends into darkness. Beaten and used for the pleasure of his uncle’s henchmen, he has little but his soul left to give as he defies the gods who damned him with blood and blade. The line between battle, passion, and desire becomes blurred beyond return. Though Andros is prepared to give his kingdom wholly to the ascending king to save his people, Kaden demands more.

With Andros as his oathsworn, Kaden, the Pegasus King, rides a dark horse into a world of regicide, secrets, and lies in pursuit of the younger warrior king who dared to resist him and then had the courage to bend the knee before him.

Warning: Contains detailed description of righteous defiance, graphic violence, non-con, villainous regents, gross abuse of religious power, dominance and submission, and m/m relationships.

Ciara Darren is a contemporary romance author writing primarily MM+, but also MX, MF, and FF. Her stories are intense, slow burn serials with chosen family, high heat, power exchange, kink, and diverse representation.

The best place to start in her contemporary romances is Collin: Episodes 1-3, for a gentler introduction to polyamory and kink. Damian & Jun is a sequel serial that can be read on its own but is best after Collin: Episodes 13-15.

For darker work in the same line, look for Sanctum: Prior Claim, coming out Spring 2026, a second-chance romance about escaping the criminal underworld and surviving to thrive. This is a stand alone tie-in serial to The Residency Boys universe and contains spoilers for both the Collin and Damian & Jun serials.

This is one of the most heart breaking, page turning, I-cannot-put-this-book-away, stories I have ever read. I love the characters and how well rounded they are. I love their actions and the way they respond to situations. I love the way the Gods interact with the mortals. And I love the way I despise the Antagonist. This story, though not complete, deserves 5 stars all the way. I know I will be paying close attention to any updates it receives.

I read it as an online fiction first more than a year ago but saw that it had been published on amazon and had to read it again.

To ensure peace king Andorus swears an oath to the Pegasus king. But it seems that Andorus is not the one ruling his country and has become a puppet controlled by his uncle.
But Andorus won't be broken, he will stop his uncle's destruction no matter what.
