Tobias tells himself he's having fun. He has a great life as a beta in the Cloverleah Pack, and while danger still threatens the pack, he has his friend's wedding to look forward too, and the pleasures that come from hookups in random places. He'd like to meet his mate, just so he's not the odd one out in the inner circle, but it's not something he's expecting anytime soon. So when a hookup just before the wedding leaves Tobias with a permanent scar, he wonders where the heck his life went wrong. Especially when the man responsible for the wicked set of tooth marks, disappeared after the deed was done, to ring a man called Kurt. Kurt and Luke have been mated for three years. As bear shifters, Kurt has known from puberty that he will two mates and once he'd claimed Luke, his mama warned him to be on the look out for a human female. So when Luke rings him and lets him know he might have accidentally on purpose bitten a wolf shifter, from some town they'd never heard of, Kurt heads to Cloverleah to sort out the mess. Sorting out their mating is just one of the things the three men have to contend with. A magic user has stepped up his game and no where on packlands seems safe. When Tobias gets taken, Kurt and Luke are helpless to do anything about it. It's going to take the power of the pack before life will be safe again, for any of them. Contains scenes of M/M and M/M/M sex. It also contains a special kind of bear, his grumpy mate, and a wolf that just wants to be loved. HEA and no cheating guaranteed. While this book can be read as standalone, you will understand more about the secondary characters in the book, if you have read the others in the series.

4 stars I enjoyed this addition to the series. This one introduces the two bear shifters Kurt and Luke. They are both great mates for Tobias. Before this book the two fae were my favourite characters, providing comic relief with their antics and Jax's total inability to control them but after this book Luke is by far my favourite character of this series. Luke's character is handled with care, he came alive on the page and was a pleasure to read. My only wish is that we could have spent some more time with the three guys on their own without the other characters but the plot didn't really allow it. Looking forward to the next instalment
This was so much fun to read! I loved the MMM pairing this time. Luke was such a sweet bear I couldn't help but love him. Kurt was the protector and had to learn how to ease up since Tobias was their third and more than happy to be there for both of them. The story was fast paced with well thought out villains, likable characters and all kinds of awesome paranormals able to live and work together to defeat the threat to their pack. Another good addition to the series.
This is one of my absolute favorite shifter series. This pack is so unique with all the different type of shifters and magic/superpowers in the pack. With each new book in this series the pack goes through so much strain and suffering but they always come out stronger and more connected than ever to each other plus there's never a dull moment something's always happening. This particular one I would say was one of my favorites because I just fell in love with Luke the bear because he was such a kind hearted soul with such a sad past of abuse. He was a blast though, so funny and full of energy and he just made the book so enjoyable and hilarious. I loved that the nobody in the pack ridiculed him for being slightly different. :-) Can't wait to read Adair' s story next!
book 8. Tobias a beta wolf for Cloverleah and his two mates who are bear shifters, Kurt and Luke. All the characters are lovable especially Luke. Great read the ongoing storyline of previous books continues to weave through the cloverleah storyline books. Enjoyable and Entertaining.
The story keeps getting more convoluted with each book and I love it 😂
I'm not sure how I feel about the autism and ADHD rep, it wasn't necessarily offensive but it was still a bit stereotypical and as a ND person myself I wasn't a giant fan of how Kurt, Tobias and everyone else constantly infantalised Luke.
The relationship was cute tho and I can't wait for the next shenanigans!
(I can't really talk on the Native American rep, since I'm a white French person and not knowledgeable enough on the topic. However, I think the author should have just left it out completely. It was so vaguely and awkwardly addressed that I think it didn't need to be in here 🤷♀️)
I have liked Tobias since he was introduced. He made me laugh in Josh's story. Luke such a sweet bear. Lisa is only the second author I have read that put a aspie ( what people with asperger's call themselves in the group I support) as a main character in a romance. I felt she showed his differences well without making him seem less than other "normal" people. My son is an aspie and these kind of stories help me believe that others see him as lovable too. Kurt such a strong, protective bear. Although I wanted to slap him upside the head when he screwed up.
I never know where this series is, going to take me. But with each and ever book, in this series I fall more in love with it. Lisa really gave us the sweetest person of all, with Luke I loved how sweet he is. His love for his mates is so special and sweet, I loved that now he has someone to take care of, even if Tobias don't think he needs taken care of. Between Tobias's family and Luke's I didn't what family to hate the most. I do know that the Cloverleah Pack is a force of nature and no one should, take them for granted.
After reading a more recent Cloverleah book, I had the urge to re-read Luke, Kurt and Tobias's story again. It still remains one of my favorite book in the series. I absolutely love Luke. He is one of my favorite characters in the series. I get a smile on my face every time he is on the page. I really liked Tobias also. He had such a tragic backstory and was so starved for affection that I really felt for him. All in all, just a wonderful addition to the Cloverleah series and well worth re-reading.
This series gets better and better. Each story weaving it's way through, and this one was no exception. I'm happy Tobias got his mates and his happy ending. The mystery deepens as some questions have been answered, but there are many more left open. Engaging, well paced and amazing writing, Lisa has kept this series intriguing and I cannot wait for the next one!!!
As always, another great addition to the Cloverleah Pack and series. A lovely triad with possessive bears, snarky wolves, and a whole lot of plot twists.
Will always be a go to book for me. I adore these characters. I love the dynamics and the action along with the sweetness that comes with characters like Luke.
This is such a fun series! I totally agree that while this can be a standalone, it means so much more when read in order and they’re all wonderful so…
In this case we have our second ménage for the Cloverleah Pack. Poor Tobias was so sad when his f**k-buddy got hooked up with Vadim and now he’s gotten a label as the pack “slut” because he craves physical touch so much.
When he escapes to a hook- up spot to find some lovin’ he “accidentally” gets mated to one of his two mates. (It seems impossible, but Lisa did a great job explaining how!)
From the other perspective we see poor Luke who is distraught at what he’s done (and overjoyed) because he wanted his other mate, Kurt, to be there, too! And, well, Luke is special, he has a few “diagnoses” that make his thinking pattern unique so he doesn’t always do what you expect.
Kurt is the opposite of Luke in a lot of ways. He’s a protector, a thinker, a worrier and the serious one. He manages to find Tobias, but inadvertently hurts his feelings at the same time.
So, now, besides trying to get the triad to work out, there’s a magic user around who is causing serious trouble for the entire pack and it’s up to the newest members – the bears – to fix things!
**
This is another great addition to the story line. In each book, new pairs get added who contribute to the unique pack in some way and these bears are really, really unique!
I LOVED the spirituality portion of this story as well as the POV from Luke’s perspective.
Though there is a bit of angst and worry along the way, most of this is really sweet and fun and healing.
Fans of the series will love it – and if you haven’t read this series you should!

I thought the narrator did a nice job giving voice to Luke’s quirky character as well as Kurt’s strong, supportive partner. Tobias is oddly “western” but when you have as many characters as there are in this series – I guess it makes as much sense as anything. He does a nice job with the pacing and the humor as well as the smexy times.
I'm not sure how to rate this one, so I'll just leave it unrated. The writing was good and I liked the characters, but I ended up not being able to force myself to finish. Frankly, I got bored.
Aside from that, my one issue with this book was Luke's character. While he was incredibly sweet and probably one of my favorites, I just couldn't get into him being part of the triad. I know they had the whole discussion about what they think he has, either ADHD or Asperger's or whatever, and for some reason they couldn't go to a human doctor to find out. I don't necessarily care about that, but Luke's dialogue and behavior was so child-like at times that I just couldn't put him in the same maturity category that books like this require. I completely skipped over the sex scenes because I couldn't bring myself to think of Luke in any sexual situation. The opening scene when he was in the shower made him seem like he was a completely different person, but once his POV came up, the maturity I first viewed him with quickly started to slip away. As each chapter with him or Kurt came up and more of his thinking, behavior, and dialogue were laid out, I couldn't help but start to cringe away from the thought of him being sexual. He just didn't come across as mentally mature, and that's a huge factor for me being able to enjoy a romance book with sexual aspects.
Even with that issue in mind and with skipping the sex scenes, I still would have enjoyed and finished the book, but I just got bored after a certain point. I don't think I'll be reading anything else from this particular series, but I will definitely be reading other books by this author. I highly recommend reading installment #13 (Wesley and Cass) of this series; I read that one first and it was great.
Tobias only wants to have some fun in the showers of the truck stop. Which is what he got when a very hard, big, tall body joined him in the shower while he was enjoying some time with his right hand. He never knew this strangers name all he knew was he was a biter and gorgeous oh and acting a little strange once the deed was done. By running out of the bath room needing to make a phone call. Now I’ve not fallen in love with one of Lisa’s characters the way I fell in love with Luke and a quickly as I did reading/listening to the book. I laughed my head off, not at him as in being mean but it was hilarious what he got up to. Now you’ll understand my mean statement when I tell you that Luke is Neuro divergent. Luke already has a mate so he was very excited when he realises that Tobias is also their mate also. The reason Tobias doesn’t realise is his wolf senses are not working due to the bleach that had recently been used to clean the showers which meant he couldn’t smell anything. He thought he’d been bitten by a human. I LOVED this book
What’s the worst way to start a relationship? Well claiming your mate without permission or him realising that’s what you’re doing, certainly has to rank high on that list. Running off to ring another man without a proper explanation really isn’t a good idea either. To that you can add the fact that the other member of this Trouple expected their third to be a female not a male; bears and wolves have different cultures; the Alpha of the wolf’s pact is just slightly prejudiced against wolves; oh, and a magic user is targeting the pack; things are likely to get a little hectic. This is such a good book. You really need to read it
Tobias is feeling out of sorts. So many of the men in the Cloverleah Pack have found their fated mates that he feels left out. He never expected someone like Luke to leave him with a mating mark and then run out on him to call Kurt. Tobias is even more surprised when Kurt arrives and he realizes that he too is his mate. Luke and Kurt are bear shifters and normally form triads with the third usually being human. Luke and Kurt had been expecting a human female, not a male wolf shifter. When Kurt is taken and chained up the pack goes on the offensive to find the man who had taken him. The power of the new pack members helps protect the pack once more as the threats keep coming.
I loved this book and the triad of the wolf Tobias from the Cloverleah pack and his bear mates Kurt and Luke. This mating is just perfect and you can't help falling in love with Luke the bear, he's just the biggest sweetheart and just so innocent and pure. The pack is in trouble as usual, but they also keep adding more members to the pack and are getting stronger and stronger. And it's going to get more interesting with the mate that's coming in the next book.
Tobias, beta wolf finds himself building a relationship with two bear mates. It takes work and adjusted expectations but it is so worth it. Meanwhile the pack needs to fight to keep their members from other packs and then from someone with dark magic. It is an exciting story that has a happy for now but shadows of upcoming troubles. A worthy addition to the series and is highly recommended
This is the first MMM book that I have actually loved. The relationships work. All three characters need each other to really work. They’re not 3 perfect people coming together instantly. It’s three flawed and in their own way damaged men seeing how they fit together to work as a whole. It was different and definitely worth the read.
Another fantastic addition to the series, luke was so sweet I fell in love with him, the pack remain under threat and danger abounds but as usual Lisa Oliver weaves a love story with the action, sweet Luke, fierce Kurt and the hot wolf Tobias fitted so well together. A great story if you haven't read this series go get it now you will love it.
This is my third time reading this series and although I rate everything Ms. Oliver writes with 5 stars, this story had my all time favorite character... Luke. I just want to hug him and tell him he's perfect just the way he is. Thank you for all your stories and thank you for sharing your talent with all your fans.
My heart is so sad for the characters in this book, I'm so glad they worked together and found their own loves and for the peace of their soul! So much hate for so someone different, so much more hate so little love. Not right or fair, but so so glad at least in this book at least !ove wins!😃
