Oh, Lawrence! I still love you and I’m pretty sure I fell even harder this time around!
“You are not seducing me in my office.”
“Why not?”
“I have things to do!” I sputtered.
“I know. Me.”
Falling with Style is a short (much too quick, in my opinion) story about Steph and Lawrence’s life since they have been married. We got to see the entire gang with Lissa and Ethan, and Ivy and Patrick, too! I absolutely adored the entire thing. It was over much too quickly, but it was oh, so good while it lasted.
It was such a realistic look into married life and juggling kids, work, and your spouse. So many things rang true to my life and I loved being able to relate to it. I also loved how much Lawry still loved Steph, and vice versa. Thank you for this perfect little snippet into one of my fave couples! ~ Tiffany, 5 stars

I can’t even tell you how happy my heart is right now. Can you read this over the beam of my smile? I’d try to turn it down for you, but this novella deserves every exposed tooth in this giant goofy grin.
The odds were stacked against it. I’m not a huge fan of novellas—I tend to feel like things fizzle out just as they start ramping up, and I usually find myself unsatisfied and let down. I am also sometimes wary of picking up a book about the struggles of marriage, because I’m living the struggles of marriage and children and all the complications therein, and I read to escape. However, this book completely and effortlessly overcame any misgivings that I had. It sometimes felt like therapy. It sometimes felt like maybe Ms. Foss was writing about my own life (and then I’d look around, like, how does she know these things?!). It always—every single moment I spent reading it—felt good. Ms. Foss knocked it out of the park, and this book felt like a gift to her readers.
Steph and Lawrence are so real. I loved this peek into their life after Swoon. They’re funny and sweet, affectionate and sexy. They communicate in a way that felt authentic to me—as did their struggles with balance and time. I literally read almost this entire book with a smile plastered on my face, occasionally giggling and at least once gasping out loud over how awesome it was. This is for sure, hands down, the best novella I’ve ever read. It will mean more to you if you’ve read Swoon first (and it will mean even MORE to you if you’ve also read Shiver and City Beautiful), but I think it also stands on its own as this short, sweet, beautiful little story about how love changes, grows, struggles, strengthens, deepens and matures over the course of a lifetime together.
In the end, Falling With Style felt like a gift to readers. An update on characters we’ve known and loved, and a captured moment in time in a marriage filled with love, laughter, and all twists and turns that real life has to offer. It’s wonderful, light hearted, heartwarming and…real. I loved every second. ~ Shelly, 5 stars
