This is my dad's book and I'm featured in a number of the stories - of course he gets a good rating. I knew he was working on the book and, once I read it, it brought back so many memories of Scouting adventures.

Through my dad's commitment to being a Scouting leader (and some nudging), I obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. When my boys were Scouting age, of course they were going to join - they are both Eagle Scouts as well and I was a leader for many years.

I know that my dad wrote this book for his own enjoyment in telling the stories. However, I see this as a tribute to the legions of Scout leaders, who are providing a great program (and many stories) to the youth of world.

Bought this book directly from the Author at a Grant's Pilgrimage (A Civil War Reenactment/Boy Scout Gathering) in April 2018. The book is comprised of short stories that reflect Larry's own personal experiences in scouting. As an assistant scout master many of his stories, most of which took place in the 70, 80s and 90s, still resonate today with my own experiences.
