Carson Mackenzie enjoys writing romance with a real feel inside the stories. She writes with the belief not every man is a jerk and not every woman needs saving.

Carson lives in the South with her son, a Great Dane and two adopted shelter dogs that keep the household in line. Books have always been a part of her life. There is nothing better to her than curling up and relaxing with a good story and losing herself in someone else’s world for a few hours.

Writing stories and growing as an author with each book is her goal. She wants to reach the level where a reader knows when they see her name on a cover, they can trust in the fact there will be a good story as they flip through the pages.

Carson’s journey into writing has only been for a few years. As she’s finally starting to settle in, she can’t believe she waited so long to start.

Wow this book is the BOMB!
Pierced & Inked is book two of the series KO Ink by Harley McRide and Carson Mackenzie two of the best authors out in today's book market.

Now I'm not putting up a spoiler because it could never do justice to how this book is written by these two great authors. And they tell the story so much better than me. But I can say that I love how the characters fit and work. I can see this series being around for a long time and also becoming a go to read for loads of readers. And I for one, can't wait to see how this series goes.

Harley and Carson keep up the great work.

I love the crazy, loud, over bearing families in this series. I laughed out loud many times at the antics of the parents. I love the intrigue that just gets better with each book, but most of all, I love the hot, alpha men! They sure know how to love their women! Can't wait for the next book!

A book that had it all, laughter, suspense, romance and hot sex!! The family interactions are plain hilarious, the love between everyone tangible. And yes, there are minor problems with spelling but nothing that takes the fun out of reading this book !!! All in all a perfect book to relax and enjoy! Well done, Harley and Carson. Looking forward to the next one in this series!

Good continuation of the first volume, which can be read alone, but which continues the story of the fight against the clandestine ring circle that cause the death of children kidnapped in the streets.
The story is still surprising, but this time it leaves a bigger part to the atypical romance between Reese, Mickael and Zoey. This part also puts a little more in place the different families who organize themselves to fight against crime and protect theirs. There is a rather humorous part between the families both invasive and protective, and the men who are all heavy and who bend in front of their parents.
Zoey is a social worker who helps children. She appeared in Volume 1, to take care of Brant whose mother died. Brant is assisted by the O'Malley, after serving as a fighter for bets in clandestine arenas. What Zoey did not tell anyone was that she had already met Reese and Mickael three months earlier in a night of drunkenness and debauchery in Las Vegas from which she left very early in the morning, and she moved to New York with one more person. Her shock passed, she discovers that the two men only want her, which she had never anticipated in her life. At the same time, Zoey continues to work and she has to deal with gang-backed children, putting her in danger (just like Tony's sister).

I loved this book. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the book. It starts out as a menagerie between Reese, Michael, and Zoey in Las Vegas where Zoey walks out on the bus after a night of drunken passion. Three months later she shows up in their town where she had came back to help her brother out. Only thing is she brought a surprise home which is sprung on Micheal and Reese on an unexpected way by her nephew. Well that surprise leads to the babysitter calling all the parents of the crew and informing them. This leads to all the parents coming over to where Zoey is staying with her brother and taking over. The parents add the comedy to this series and will keep you in stitches as it is a big family and the dad is bragging to all the other 6 boys and their friends that they better hurry up if they expect to catch up with these two. The parents show up at theost unexpected times and with the most unexpected actions and comments. Well worth the time to read. They will keep you guessing what they are going ro do next. HEA that continues onto the next book in the series.

What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there. Case in point, Zoey was celebrating her graduation from college and hooked up with two hot guys. She bolted while they were asleep. After moving to the Bronx to be there for her brother and her nephew, she knew she would have to tell him about her impending reminder of her night in Vegas. When she goes to meet her coworkers for a night out, she spots Reece and Mike. Stunned that they live here, she faints. Events soon spiral out of control and the her brother and the guys' families are the source of the pandemonium. Will the guys be able to convince her that they were devastated when she left them that night? Will she believe that they want to be with her and not just around because of the baby? I liked the start of this one, how they met and then reconnect. The continuing plot line from the first book became even more dangerous and the guys are feeling the pressure to put an end to this threat. I felt like the three of them didn't spend as much time together as the first triad did. It was still a solid story and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I will be diving into the next one soon!

This is book two in the KO Ink series. This is Mike O'Malley's story and his search of HEA. He is quite envious of what his brother, Finn and his best friend have with their woman. He has his best friend Reese Macaroy and both of them thought they found their girl in Zoey Marshall but when they woke up, she was gone. Fate has stepped in and brought all three characters back together again. Do they get a second chance at a HEA? Joining the O'Malley family circle is like joining the circus, it is full of love, support and no judgements but it also comes with a craziness that can scare a person away. Another great read in the series, this book is not just a second chance read but things are heating up as bodies continue to turn up from the underground fighting ring that everyone thought was broken up. Enjoy!

This is the 2nd book in the KO Inked series and it was very entertaining, captivating and continues with the O’Malleys and friends trying to solve who is behind the underground fighting. After Michael and Reese’s one night stand in Vegas with the beautiful Zoey, the men felt a real connection to her. Only the next morning, she has disappeared and they didn’t even know her last name. Three months later, they run into each other again. She recognizes them, but it takes Mike and Reese a minute to put everything in place. When they find out Zoey is pregnant, they are determined to make her their own and win her over. There’s so much in this book from the humorous antics of their parents, suspense, danger, and lots of chemistry. Love this series.

Sometimes you get a more than you gambled for in Vegas

Pierced and Inked is the second book in the KO Inks series and it is just as yummy as the first. The story of Michael, Reese and Zoey is lovely and very well written. This book made me laugh outloud for than a few times as some of the characters you just have to shake your head at and think they could be part of your extended family.
There is definite heat between the three main characters and this is written really well. The very unexpected surprise that results from their one night together and then how that impacts their futures once it is known is so well done and such a great thing to read. I enjoyed reading this second book in the series and look forward to reading about the rest of the family.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

The O’Malley and Company saga continues.

Zoey had an unbelievable experience 3 months ago that changed her life. Unable to cope with her actions, she ran back home to take care for her brother and his son. On a girl’s night out she runs into the 2 guys (Mike & Reese) she met in Vegas. Not only do the trio have to try and deal with their feelings they are also battling the current crime issue in the neighborhood.

The series just keeps getting better. The way the Roark’s, O’Malley’s and Macaroy’s families interact with each other is at times crazy and hilarious but you see the love and respect they have for each other. A great read for any weekend.

Zoey just moved to a new city to help her brother. Reese and Mike grew up together. One night in Vegas changed everything. Will Zoey believe them when they say they want her? Will Reese and Mike get the woman and family of their dreams?

Another steamy read to add to this series! I loved how Reese and Mike were determined to get the woman who they felt a connection with and were determined to prove they were after more than just what she had. I didn't blame Zoey for being hesitant since she didn't know the men, but loved how once she accepted it she didn't back down. Good read!

This is book two in Richmond KO Ink series and I absolutely loved it. The storyline was fantastic. The chemistry between Zoey, Reese, and Michael was phenomenal. Still loving the crazy families. Reilly shows that the dads can be as crazy as the moms. Getting ready to read book three. Definitely recommend this book

This is the story of Zoey, Mike and Reece. After one amazing night, Zoey doesn’t expect to see best friends Mike and Reece again. Fate has other ideas and I really enjoyed how these three come together for their HEA. Love the banter and interaction of their families and how they don’t have any boundaries. They had me laughing with all the antics. Great story. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Pierced and Inked is the second book in the KO Ink series. This story is about Zoey Marshall, Mike O’Malley, and Reese Macaroy and the love they find together. The families in this book are absolutely hilarious. They are all great friends and fit together so well. The storyline is well written and continues the men's commitment to making their neighbourhood safe again.

I absolutely loved reading Pierced and Inked by Carson Mackenzie. This is a very hot and sexy read. I will not recount the plot. The blurb does it well, as do some other reviewers. I will just say this is an enjoyable sexy, steamy, erotic book. There is a decent plot and characters, and lots of sex. Exactly what you would expect.

This is the 5th book I've read written by Carson Mackenzie; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the chemistry between the characters.

One night in Vegas was all she got. Zoey ran and now she is living with her brother working as a social worker. Mike and Reese are stunned when they see their dream woman again. Hey set out to make her theirs and there is no way she will get away again. She is in danger because of her job and these two will stop at nothing to keep her safe.

This is book two in this series and features Zoey, Michael, and Reese. The underlying story of gangs and illegal fight rings is really good, however, the character portrayal is excellent. Even though serious matters are considered, these families are too much! Great read!

I like the fact that this continues with the same family and the issues with the área. I think that having the family as invilved as they are is definately a plus with this book. The doctor visit had me laughing out loud as I could see some of the family not caring what others think and doing their own thing.
