This has to be one of my favourite romance novels of all time. The dialogue is ON POINT , the plot is EVERYTHING and the main characters are nothing short of enchanting. It's brilliant!!!

I have to say that I was surprised while reading this because I thought this would be like any other Senator story but it hadn't been. I did enjoy the book and it was very well written. The story held me in and I couldn't wait to get to the end.

And then I saw it was a cliffy. I wanted to read the second book right away. Well, actually I wanted to write the end....but I didn't. Because I am curious as to what the author has planned in the next book.

I hope this next book gives me the end I wanted to. I can't wait to read it.

I loved how this author wrote the book in this way, like she had to remember what had actually happened. It was amazing to read. There were a few things that I didn't quite get so I hope those were only my thoughts on the story.

This isn't your usual Senator romance. This is something totally new and something worth reading.

I read and reviewed this book for Kylie's Fiction Addiction

I loved loved loved this book!! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it, but I seriously could not put this book down. Jack is a beautiful man..I didn't expect him to be so wonderful, but he definitely could make any other BBF live in shame.

Caroline and Jack have such a beautiful story to tell, and you cannot deny them their feelings and adoration for one another...what you don't realize is how nasty and hateful people can be. That's something that I've never understood on a personal level, but there are some angsty people in this book. They definitely give the book some additional character, that's for sure.

The power of love means thinking more of others than of yourself. Selflessness makes someone bigger than the next, and there is a lot of that going on in this book. Full of love, heartbreak and desperation is what this book is. I cannot wait for the next book. Bravo!!

I have been an avid fan of T.S Dawson and devoured all her books. I of course was so excited to get this newest release in my hands and enjoyed it so much that I read it in one night. The love between Caroline and Jack was so pure and beautiful, even if it only spanned one summer. Despite the differences between them, including age and social circumstances, the pull was so great that they couldn't help giving into their feelings for one another. As we all know no love is perfect, but these two when alone shined brightly. When outside forces try to to worm doubt into their minds the ultimate question is asked: How far would you sacrifice your own happiness for the betterment of the one you love? Sometimes that means letting go when all you want is to hold on tight. I look forward to the next book in this wonderful spin off series, and ache to go back to the Port Honor series which this is connected to.

We meet Caroline who is spending the summer with her family at the beach. I fell in love with her right away because how she spends all the time with her niece. Things are not perfect as she deals with a sister in law that is not a pleasant person and the future of her family is not in balance. When she is offered a job as the nanny to the Senator you know things are going to get interesting for the summer.

Ms. Dawson did a great job of writing characters that you got to know and fall in love with, well most of them anyway. There are a few you won't like. There are many bumps, more like mountains, that Caroline and Jack have to face. Follow them on a roller coaster of a ride that brings happiness and also heartbreak. This does end in a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read the next book because I have to see what happens with these two.

I reviewed a copy of this book for Kylie's Fiction Addiction.
