Hunting down a well-known drug lord Azazel finds himself riddled with bullets and bleeding out onto the street. He was dying. In fact he did die, the only issue was is that he was staring down at his bullet riddled corpse.
This book was fun as hell to read! A story of fallen angels, demonic abilities, Limbo, Hell, and characters that grab you from the first page and don't let go. The author has a talent for descriptive language and expletives which I found not only amusing and engaging throughout the short story but also irresistible. You can't help but love the main character and his stubborn stupidity.
I found the story of this forgotten and neglected boy finding his true purpose as fascinating as the Limbo in which he found himself suddenly thrown. Both Elder and Younger Az are rich and detailed characters which is pretty awesome considering this is only a short story. Immediately you are invested in the series of events that unfold as well as the main story line. Angels vs. demons? Who doesn't love a gritty portrayal of an eternal battle over souls and the right to rule? And a little blood and guts thrown in? Well, it's needed for this graphic portrayal of a sinner and his choices.
Well done to the author. Now I need to read the rest of the Rage series. 5 stars. Thoroughly enjoyable!!!
Thanks to the author for letting me read and review his short story (55 Pages). This isn't my usual kind of book I would normally read! At first I found it a bit wierd and fast paced but then it got better and I started to enjoy it. I must warn you there is A LOT of swearing and violence in this story especially at the beginning. I personally found a few parts throughout very dark. I managed to read this story in just over an hour... It is a very one of kind story that would be perfect for readers who enjoy fantasy, action, weird, killing, violence and drugs sort of stories, ideally men. I found the ending just stopped and it could have been made much more interesting to have found out what would have happened after. However, I did enjoy it even though at first I was a bit unsure... Very wierd!! It is written well with short chapters. I will be reading more by this author as I'm intrigued! I awarded four stars because I was shocked at first with all the bad language and especially some of the darker bits. But as a relatively new author it is not a bad short story at all! What to read something really wierd? Give this a try!!
At the end of the book the author asks to forgive any typos in the book and to give him leave a review that will help him with future books. In all, I found only 4 typos, but because the spelling of the word was not too far off, it did not subtract from the story itself.
I was worried that this story would be one that would not allow me to sleep at night, but ultimately it was not. It turned out to be an interesting story about a boy, his father, and defying death in Limbo. This story was one that is unique to me because I have not read anything like it before. Sure there are stories about Hell and Heaven, but not too many about Limbo and actually trying to get into Hell. Definitely different.
I do hope that D. P. Tighe writes more short stories that follow Azazel as he fights his way through the floors of Hell and ultimately meet up with his father again.
Thank you Goodreads and D. P. Tighe for allowing me to win and review this book!D.P. Tighe

I just love this book, it has a completely different take on angels and demons which makes it a very interesting read, not something you would normally expect. It starts out with Azazel dying after being in a gun fight with a gang of criminals. Although this is at the start of the book don't fret as his death only results in a new chapter of his life, where he has to learn a great deal to be able to survive the new world he lands in. It is a truly gripping story although only 55 pages long, I cannot wait for the second to come out. This author has a brilliant imagination and you can really see it come alive in the pages of his book. I look forward to seeing much more of his work.
Wow! What a ride! This story took me on a wild adventure! The action it contains kept me engaged and turning the pages. The characters were surprisingly developed and it was easy to see them in my mind. It was like I knew them all even having not actually having seen them. This is a great read that I for one am extremely happy I had the chance to read it! I will be reading this one again and again I am sure. Thank you for a wonderful journey!
Nice short story of Azazel, a character from the first book of the Rage Series. I enjoyed getting more information about this very interesting character.
