Why.: The three natural laws and the four personal choices that explain why the world is the way it is

Rate this book
The book describes why society is the way it is. The explanation is based on two major premises. First, there are three immutable "natural laws" that cannot be modified by actions of individuals or organizations. These are the Law of Supply and Demand, Survival of the Fittest, and Life Has No Guarantees. Second, there are four Behavioral Beliefs that determine individuals actions when making decisions that have a moral component. The second part of the monograph shows how the decisions and actions of management, government and unions reveal both their adherence to the Natural Laws and their belief in each of the Behavioral choices. Part 3 of the book relates the current decline of the quality of life in Western societies and presents the principles of a prescription for reversing the decline.
