About the author

Joël Callède a 10 ans quand il écrit ses premières BD ! Plus tard, il abandonne l'IUFM pour se consacrer pleinement à ses bulles. Pendant son service militaire, il rencontre Sylvain Vallée qui lui montre le 9e art sous un jour plus professionnel. Quelques petits boulots plus tard, les éditions Delcourt publient "Comptine d'Halloween", puis "Dans la nuit". Depuis, les séries se succèdent : "L'Appel des origines", "Enchaînés", "Damoclès"... En 2012, il propose le scénario de "Karma Salsa" avec ses amis de Pau Philippe Charlot et Fred Campoy. La fin du tryptique sort en avril 2014. En 2014, il entre également dans la famille XIII Mystery en choisissant la pétillante Betty Barnowsky ! Le dessin de ce tome 7 est confié à Sylvain Vallée.
