Broken Wolf is book seven in the Moonbound series by Krystal Shannan and Camryn Rhys. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by one of the authors.
The alphas have ordered the team home. They believe that circumstances have gotten much too dangerous and that they are sending in their team of special ops. But no one knows more than our team what is going on on that island. No one wants Adrian Rossi dead more than they do. So, they will disobey their orders and proceed with their mission.
Luther has a friend that owes him a very big favor. So he calls in Vadik Nabatov to pose as one of Adrian’s clients, a dominant who is constantly accompanied by his submissive slave. The person that is best suited to play the part of his submissive is Andrea VonBrandt. But first these two must be taught how to act their parts. While learning what their roles will consist of, an attraction grows between them. Again, wolf magick is at work when it becomes evident that these two are fated mates.
Vadik knows nothing of the magical world of shifters. I have to say he takes the news pretty well. Still, he fights his attraction to Andrea, not understanding what is happening. Of course, their mission does not go as planned and what was already a dangerous situation leaves their lives hanging by a thread.
Again, I was shocked with the atrocities that Adrian is committing on this island. With every book in this series, more shocking details are revealed. This book is also set up a little differently than the others. The first half of the book concentrates on Adrian and Vadik. But the second half of the book focuses on other characters as the events on the island ramp up to a shocking level.
The magical power of the fated mate bond is at work with more than one couple in this book. These characters’ love grows at a shockingly fast pace but you have to understand that when the magick between two fated mates is given the opportunity to grow, there isn’t much they can do about it, it’s that strong. Don’t you wish finding your true love was always that easy?
I loved this addition to the series. The intensity of the events grows with each book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, Hunted Wolf. If you haven’t started it yet, this is the perfect time to start at the beginning and jump in to the world of the Moonbound.

The chemistry between Andrea and Vadik is a rush that stirs up plenty of emotional turmoil, especially because of the mission. These strong captivating characters draw readers along on the adrenaline pumping mission as they work to infiltrate Rossi’s island, which has become even more complicated that before due to several unexpected surprises in this well written, fast paced and smooth flowing plot full of suspense, excitement and romance.
Well, this is one mission that had quite a few twists and hair raising moments that kept me on the edge of my seat and I really can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Words practically escape me... Broken Wolf is by far the best book in the Moonbound series. There is a reason why Krystal Shannan This story grabs you at the first page and doesn't let you go until the very last page and even then you are left with wanting more.

In this book we meet Vadik Nabatov and Andrea VonBrandt. In this book we find Andrea is the one wolf who knows they need to help those women but isn't sure about bringing in another human. In fact she has always been told that humans were never to learn their secrets and there have been to many added to their group as is. Knowing this and putting it into practice are two separate things, especially when the new human you got to work with you just happens to be your mate. Andrea also learns that having a mate and keeping each other safe are sometimes two separate things.
Vadik doesn't like strangers and he doesn't like working with woman so he isn't sure why Luther called him in for this job. Vadik will do anything to pay Luther back for what happened all those years ago but this is pushing that limit. When Vadik learns what they need him for there is even more that he is beginning to questions. The thing is Vadik has a sense of honor and to learn what is happening to the woman on the island he knows he must help and the feelings he is beginning to have for the woman that he is paired with doesn't hurt at all. The problem he is having the more his feeling grow the harder it is to keep the mission and keeping her safe separated. What's a man to do when he is torn between the right thing to do in his head and his heart?
This is another great story in this series. Again it can be read as a stand along but is recommended to be read in order to understand how everyone got to this point. In this book it really shows how someone can only fight their feelings for so long. It also shows sometimes what you have been taught and what you find in your life maybe two separate things but they're what make us whole. This book is just like the others in that have you on the edge of your seat can't put the book down way. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

A Truly Amazing storyline. With fantastic characters.
This series is of a team of wolf shifter Enforcers who have been sent to put a stop to a Evil wolf shifter Adrian. Adrian has been kidnapping young she-wolves and been using them as sex slaves/Breeders. The team almost stopped him once ,but he beat them and took off for an Island off of the Mexico shore. Now the team is trying again to get on the Island they are getting the help of an assassin Vadic Luther's friend. It looks like another team member Andrea has found her true mate in Vadic! Several team members have found their true mates on this mission!. Can the team get back on the Island and put a stop to Adrian for good this time?. Or will he escape again?.
You will love this amazing Suspenseful, intense, Sweet,touching and steamy hot Romance!

OMG, absolutely the best book EVER!!!!! its was fantastic and the best book in the series so far .... The characters were fabulous and I loved Vadik, he just made me giggle as he had no idea what to make of Andrea and didn't want to give into her at all but every other minute he was looking at her. He wanted to be the "big bad man" but he just wasn't and in the end he couldn't stop himself when it came to her, there was just no stopping "love".
This book was so fast paced too, I also loved that we met another couple, Owen and Clara along the way and that it was in two parts, it was completely addictive and I found myself needing matchsticks to keep my eyes open as I just couldn't put the book down until I had completed it as it was fantastic.
The only sad thing is, is that I have just realized that I am coming to the end of the series and that I only have another few books left, however I am hoping that the final few will be as exciting as this one.
The dynamics between Vadik and Andrea was just amazing and they were fantastic together even though to begin with he tried to fight against it, as most me do! However, to be honest he didn't try very hard and soon became an absolute softy.
I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone reading this review, it's definitely worth a read, however I would read the books in order as they may be confusing otherwise and I think you would benefit by reading the others first.

Andrea has watched her team mates fall in love, with each other and shockingly some humans, whilst they hunt Adrian Rossi and his sick sex slave enterprise. She quite likes Luther but she is loathe to admit that his idea to bring in one of his crooked cronies as a ringer is a good idea!
Vadik has a bit of a shady past. He's a former soldier and now mercenary. He owes Luther a favour or two but he doesn't like the feel of this new job. These people are all new to him and they give off a weird vibe to him. He especially can't understand why the blood cheerleader female makes his skin itch. Andrea also feels this weird link to the new guy but she will do her damndest to ignore it - she has a mission to complete!
But when their plans go a bit awry and they need to go undercover as a master and slave on Rossi' hell island, they end up getting a whole lot closer than they thought they would!
The unfolding saga of tracing Rossi is fantastic, no catching of the bad guys in one book here. All the characters feel real and the mix of camaraderie, envy and downright bullying is great! I loved all Vadiks "Babushka-isms! He dealt with the whole wolf thing a lot better than I would LOL. I cannot wait to see what happens now that Rossi is really against the wall - will he come back fighting or slink under the nearest rock?!??!?! Bring on the next book soon!

I really enjoy this series, and this book is just as good as the others. Though in a slightly different format then the others, the first part of the book follows the characters of Andrea VonBrandt , a feisty blonde werewolf who is used to getting her way, and Vadik Nabatov, a human enforcer/mercenary who is friends with Luther Frost and brought to the group to help with getting them unto the island. Though Andrea feels the pull towards him, she tries to fight it for as long as possible since it seems that Varik hates her and as Varik grows closer to Andrea he starts to feel that something is different with her then any other woman he has ever been attracted to..almost as if something is pulling him towards her.
During the second part of the book we are introduced to Owen Collins, a former employee of Adrian's who was placed in the hunters cages and Clara Rossi, one of Adrian Rossi's children who has been placed in one of the other hunting cages. Having been sheltered on the island, Clara doesn't know much about the Mate bonds but she knows that something is drawing her to be closer to Owen.
The books in the series are greatly written and entertaining in that I find myself reading page after page. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens next.

Oh my...Where do I start? This is the best book of the series so far. I couldn't put the book down. There is so much going on in this book that it boggles the mind. The sexy Alpha wolves are in abundance. The kick A#s females are amazing. The Enforcers for the different packs may not be trained soldiers but they can more than get the job done. Of course then there are the Black Wolves, the Rangers, they are trained and each one is as hot and sexy as the next. What I wouldn't give to have someone like Rain, Vadik, Owen, or Luther. It's really to bad there aren't really werewolf men to choose from. Well maybe not... the poor human men might not stand a fighting chance. On the same token us poor human women couldn't keep up with women like Maggie and Andrea either. Trust when I say Broken Wolf was more than worth the wait. Krystal Shannan has done such and amazing job writing this book that the reader will be able to visualize every scene. It could easily be made into a movie. The entire series would make an awesome movie. I can't wait to see how it comes to a conclusion. I'm so ready for Rossi to get what's coming to him. I hope it's slow and painful...that's the least he deserves.

In this book the team knows that they need to get onto the island but the question is how. Lutherr Frost asks the group to trust him and asks a favor of his friend Vadik Nabatov, a mercenary for hire to pretend to be Ilya Petrov.
Andrea VonBrandt knows that her team is running out of time and when it is apparent that she must pretend to be Sasha, Petrov's mistress, she must become someone she isn't. When the two get to the island they know they are in trouble, especially when things don't go as planned.
With the Rangers on their way, will Vadik and Andrea be able to play their roles without involving their emotions and when it is apparent their lives are in serious danger will one sacrifice themselves to save the others?
This book is so full of action and I loved it!! The relationship between Andrea and Vadik is so intense due to them having to pretend that they were others in a relationship that was so different than either of them had ever experienced before.
I am so sad that the next book is the last as this has been such a great series and I can't wait to see what the last book has in store for us!

This next installment in the series is longer than the last one and is packed with action. Andrea will find her mate in a Russian human that owes Luther a favor. Vadik is not sure what to make of the blonde Andrea and doesn’t understand why he is drawn to her. The group has to share their secret to enlist his help in getting them onto the island where the wolves are held so they can disable the power sources and free the wolves. In order to do this Vadik must replace a Russian who is expected to arrive on the island. When the Russian is killed and his submissive pilot dies unexpectedly, Andrea has to learn how to be submissive so she can replace her.
We will also get to meet other wolves that imprisoned on the island and hunted by visitors as sport. Some of the wolves from past books also return to help in the mission. (Remember Rain?) Everything will go to hell in the proverbial hand basket.
Don’t miss this one. But be sure to read the others in the series first to make it easier to understand what is going on.

Oh boy, we're almost to the end of this thrilling adventure. This book introduces us to Vadik and continues Andrea's story and things are getting tricky. It is getting more complicated and more dangerous as we rush toward (hopefully) the downfall of the werewolf-making monster. Here we get to learn more about the island and its inner workings.
Vadik is indebted to Luther and agrees to help with the mission. The mission that Luther just joined in book 6 (Saving a Wolf) but one that he is now completely behind. Wow! This was one intense wild ride. From start to finish, Andrea and Vadik's story is nonstop, constant action. It is enjoyable when the author doesn't string out the coming together of the main characters. As Ms Shannan has done, when Andrea and Vadik realized what they where to each other, they went with their feelings...regardless that Andrea is a wolf and Vadik is human, that didn't deter them from what they knew they were fated for.
As this series continues in this book, the hunt to bring Adrian Rossi down becomes more intense. This book ended, not quite with a cliff hanger, but definitely left me wanting more of the hunt for the madman. I'm looking forward to the eighth book!

Vadik is in for a lot of surprises when he agrees to help his friend Luther with a mission. He is introduced to the world of the supernatural. He also meets Andrea and feels an intense desire for her which complicates the mission.
I have enjoyed this series and watching the wolves find their mates. When the magic hits, they can't resist their mate. I absolutely loved this book. It captivated me from the page and took me on a rollercoaster
ride to the very end. What an adrenaline rush!! It was so hard to put down.
Luther asked his Russian friend Vadik Nabatov for help to capture Adrian Rossi and
rescue the wolves. Vadik learned that Luther is now a wolf since he had noticed the
change in him. This mission would be extremely dangerous.

Vadik Nabatov was contacted by his friend Luther for a special job. Since he owed him his life, he agreed. When he saw that he had to work with civilians he wasn't happy. Andrea VonBrandt and all of the enforcers are officially going against their alphas as their determination and desperation to catch a monster has taken control. When Andrea finds out they have to let yet another human help them, she's not happy.
This is the 8th of nine books in this series and this one blew my socks off. The story story just as quick as the others but this one flipped the script and shook things up a bit. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.

Moonbound Book 7 jumps right into the fray with the team trying to dismantle Adrian Rossi's organization and him if possible....Andrea VonBrandt and the mercenary Vadik are pitted against some of the most inhumane torture they have ever witnessed and are subjected too. Ms. Shannan writes with such emotions that it literally boils off the pages. Her characters are strong and resilient, with choices and trials that leave a taste in your mouth that can't be washed out! The chemistry between characters is scorching and leaves me breathless. This series is one that each book is excellent but the next even better...her talent with the written word wows me! More, more, more!!!

Coming to help the man who saved his life he never expected to find his mate and try and keep both of them alive while staying away from hunters.

Wow
I didn't think this series could get any better. Then to be two stories in one. if you are looking for a new series to get hooked on this his it! All though the stories stand on their own. I recommend reading them in order. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Happy reading

Broken Wolf, Moonbound Series Book 7 was given to me as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely loved it and I love this series!! Each book has a unique story line that will keep you wanting to read more… Broken Wolf is Andrea and Vadik's story.
The team had come up with a plan to get Adrian Rossi and that involved getting the help of one of Luther’s friends, Vadik Nabatov. They had to bring in a human in so that they could get on the Island. The team was going to break a major shifter rule and tell Vadik that they were wolf shifters in order for the operation to work. Luther trusted Vadik with his life so he didn’t have any worries that he would keep this secret. Niko, Dani, Maggie and Andrea were sitting at a table with Luther waiting on Vadik to arrive at the airport in Toronto, Ontario. Andrea all of a sudden felt something flow over her skin like magick and it was getting closer.
Vadik had just gotten into the terminal and saw Luther sitting at a table with 3 women. He was getting mad because they had never done a job with women before. Luther hadn’t mentioned that they would be working with any on this mission either. Vadik was observing the group trying to stay hidden until Luther noticed him. He had a tug in his stomach and that normally told him to run. When Luther noticed him, Vadik motioned for him to follow him outside of the coffee shop. Vadik wasn’t happy to learn that they were a team not trained in covert ops and that Luther wouldn’t be going with him on the Island. He also didn’t like the fact that Andrea got under his skin.
They were waiting on Ilya Petrov who was famous for his security but was surprised to see a black hair beauty walking a half step back behind him. Vadik was to take Petrov’s place when he went to Rossi’s Island. Since they didn't know about Sasha the black haired beauty, they were going to have to replace her and Andrea was the only logical choice, but they had work to do. When they arrived in Chicago Niko’s sister changed Andrea’s blonde hair to black. She also took them shopping and to a club for a crash course in BDSM to help with their cover. Andrea body was on high alert with the magick that was happening when she was near Vadik. He had to be her mate.
Their training time got cut short when Aaron, Andrea’s brother/Alpha called to tell her that the mission was now called off and everyone was ordered home. The Rangers were being called in to finish their mission. The team didn’t like that at all and wanted to see this mission through, so they put their plan in motion. Vadik was suppose to kill Ilya and Sasha how was a forced submissive of Ilya was going to fly them to the island. Things did not go to plan. Now Vadik was going to have to pretend to be Ilya and Andrea was going to have to going to have to pretend to be Sasha.

things are getting heavier in this part of themoonbound series. maggie and luther have their bond in place but that doesn't distract them for the task at hand. for the next step they need a new outsider and luther knows just the person, Vadik, a russian mercenary. when the team is waiting on him vadik is already assesing the team and he can't understand why luther is so wrapped up in the tiny wisp of a woman next to him. what gets on his nerves even more is the fact he knows he has a dangerous job to do and the people he sees with luther have zero to none credibility, he doesn't know them and he doesn't find anything on them!
and then there is the blonde in the group, she stirs something deep inside of him, something he knows for sure will distract from the mission. one that's even made harder when the blonde and himself have to pose as Master and slave in order to get on the island.
