Very cleverly told. Using McGoohan's iconic hero of Number Six as an overviewing narrator and interspersing the well-remembered questioning tone of the idealistic everyman across the entire biography gives a great feel of in-character drama. While biographies can often be leaden in their pedantic attempts to detail a life's minutiae, this approach-coupled with its theatrical visualisation-wonderfully reflects the very goals of its subject, to rise above the predicable and the mundane. I love this graphic novel, it is a delight to savour. Visually stunning, a mood-poece very much with the voice and attitude of McGoohan. Combines his life story with vignettes illustrating important events and influences in McGoohan 's life. Orson Welles, WB Yeats, Lew Grade and George Markstein all feature. The story of McGoohans life is revealed through an engaging dialogue with Gorman, here revealed as a figure in shadow, culminating in the filming of the Prisoner. And a few intriguing questions.
