Night Spice

Rate this book
Rori Kelsey's sultry voice made "Night Spice" the hottest radio show in steamy New Orleans, but her on-air sizzle was a sham compared to her unnaturally chaste existence. And now even her professional success had soured: menacing poison-pen letters were condemning her morals-and threatening her life.

To add to her anguish, Rori found herself entranced by the wickedly attractive mystery writer who watched her nightly, brazenly, from a neighboring balcony. Blade Cavannaugh's hungry, haunted gaze was mesmerizing, but certain similarities between him and her anonymous assailant jolted Rori. When Blade vowed to hear her honeyed voice cry out for him in passion, Rori trembled with unfamiliar desire. But was his provocative sensuality seducing her from innocence... into danger?

A nice oldie that actually handled a whole host of issues, the heroine is a famous RJ, a lure to men but in reality she feels like a failure as a woman because of her sexual dysfunction, something that happened with her ex-husband someone from the media industry. The hero is her new neighbour, a former journalist turned author who is facing writer's block because of what happened to his wife, her death has filled him with paralysing guilt.

These two lost souls somehow come together while dealing with the threat of a stalker after the heroine. Overall I loved the book, how loving the hero was, how he helped her feel whole and how the heroine did the same to him in return.
