The decorative educational information is true to the bakeshop quality one may learn and provide because traditionally at a gathering dessert is usually good for many to flourish

This is not a cookbook by an author known to me (and Klivans wrote a cupcake cookbook recently, but I thought this one was more interesting looking), but I really thought this had some great ideas, and was fairly good about covering all the decorating basics in a good introduction (which also includes some reasons why cupcakes are different from larger cakes from a baking standpoint, and why things that might not matter all that much if you are making a whole cake really matter when you are making small cakes. the thing I really love about this book is that it elevates the cupcake up to a miniature version of a larger cake, and allows you to serve small (and fancy) portions of a cake that would be veryhard to get into this size--I especially like the cupcake with lemon curd, and the german chocolate cupcake--but there are quite a number of these, and they are really lovely--and give you ideas for miniaturizing other favorite cakes.

If you want a basic, lots of options, not too odd cupcake cookbook this one is excellent. Thus far I've made four of the recipes in here (other cupcakes were from other recipes) and they all turned out fine.

I have made almost every cupcake in this book, and I, as well as others who ate them, loved them all! The buttercream frosting recipe gets rave reviews from everyone!
