That's the secret to creativity, according to Ray Bradbury. And to Steinbeck, ideas were like quick to multiply. Everyone has their own idea as to how creativity works; inside, you'll find these ideas do quickly multiply, as dozens of writers, designers, and artists provide their own insight and advice on the creative process. Now it's your turn to take the lead and let creative inspiration follow you everywhere with Treat Ideas Like Cats .

Favorite quote so far (...though there are many good ones):
"I'm totally crazy, I know that. I don't say that to be a [smartsyfartsy], but I know that that's the very essence of what makes my work good. And I know my work is good. Not everybody likes it, that's fine. I don't do it for everybody, or anybody. I do it because I can't not do it."
[-Maurice Sendak- writer of WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE]
As someone who likes quotes, I enjoyed this book. I also like that not all the quotes are so common that this book read like the first hit on Google's "best quotes to inspire creativity."
In the introduction, Zachary Petit says he's got a Word document full of go-to quotes, and in mentioning this immediately won me over. I, too, have multiple go-to quote libraries (both digital and handwritten). And what follows is a wonderful array of quotes having anything and everything to do with creativity laid out in black and yellow and white with abstract imagery, one to a page. This is the kind of book to keep easily accessible, to flip though whenever you're in need of a little inspiration for your artistic endeavor.
Great quote book full of inspiration for creatives. I was surprised by some of the rare quotes I’ve had yet to read from some of my favorite writers, artists, and philosopher. This book has earned a permanent spot above my desk for quick reference.
Kitapta sadece alıntılar var, sayfa sayfa; insana ilham verecek, hayatını gözden geçirmesini sağlayacak alıntılar. Ancak çeviri tabiri caizse berbat 🙍🏻♀️ gerçekten cümle yapıları bozuk, ayni zamanda her şey'ler birleşik yazılmış, kurallara fazla uyulmamış 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ ayrıca kitaba gelirsek, bence çok daha iyi olabilirdi
