The Magick Of Lilith: Calling Upon the Goddess of the Left Hand Path

Rate this book
There has never been a Goddess in all the western traditions as maligned as the Goddess Lilith. She has been called the epitome of all that is evil in the world. She was considered wild, uninhibited, argumentative and sexually deviant. She has been called the temptress, the prostitute from hell and most popularly as the succubus that comes and not only steals the semen of men as they sleep but also killing them in the process. Some of these qualities might very well be true and some not so much. One thing we know for sure is that she is a very powerful and ancient goddess. In this book, we will discuss what we know of her from the Western traditions. I will present the information chronologically; I will start with the earliest known accounts of Lilith to the most recent. I must warn you however, much of the evidence we have about Lilith is very biased but despite this, I think we can learn much about her and put her "reputation" into the proper perspective. Although some may consider her evil, I consider her the quintessential goddess of the left-hand path. In this book, we will discuss the story of Lilith and more importantly; we will learn how to tap into her fierce energy so we too can walk the left hand path with her. She is not for the faint of heart...You have been warned. In this book we will preform 7 rituals: 1.To Place a curse on your enemy. 2.Bind someone to do your will. (It could be for any purpose) 3.To gain Seductive powers 4.To Gain Protection from Lilith (Read carefully) 5.To gain courage and Inner Strength 6. To Gain Occult Power and Wisdom. 7.Sexually Dedicate yourself to Lilith

Baal Kadmon

Baal Kadmon is an Author, and Occultist based out of New York City. In addition to the Occult, he is a Religious Scholar, Philosopher and a Historian specializing in Ancient History, Late Antiquity and Medieval History. He has studied and speaks Israeli Hebrew · Classical Hebrew · Ugaritic language · Arabic · Judeo-Aramaic · Syriac (language) · Ancient Greek and Classical Latin.

Baal first discovered his occult calling when he was very young. It was only in his teens, when on a trip to the Middle East that he heeded the call. Several teachers and many decades later he felt ready to share what he has learned.

His teachings are unconventional to say the least. He includes in-depth history in almost all the books he writes, in addition to rituals. He shatters the beloved and idolatrously held notions most occultists hold dear. His pared-down approach to magick is refreshing and is very much needed in a field that is mired by self-important magicians who place more importance on pomp and circumstance rather than on magick. What you learn from Baal is straight forward, with no frills. Magick is about bringing about change or a desired result; Magick is a natural birthright…There is no need to complicate it.

Insulting

This author first off needs to take or retake English 101. He constantly repeats himself throughout this book. To his credit he lightly touches on the history of this Demon also telling his readers those subjects will be referenced in another book. After that his writing is filler especially the end chapters. Except for the title of the new chapter they are exact copies of each other. A very lazy writer and I hope you find this subject elsewhere. Refrain from purchasing this book.

Nope

History is incomplete, very biased, shameless self promotion from the author. Wouldn't recommend this book to anyone trying to get to know this deity.

Pretty good

I love Lilith, and the author did a pretty good job with the history of her. The magick in this book is straight forward, and is not for dabblers, as Lilith is a very serious and powerful deity, not one you would want to piss off. I do believe in karma and the "1st do no harm" rule of Wiccan practices, so I do not advise using the rituals in this book against enemies. With that being said, if you love Lilith and can't get enough of her, go ahead and read this book. If you are just starting to familiarize yourself with her, this is a good start, but don't jump right into the magick rituals until you are more seasoned with the occult. I gave it four stars because I wanted something more indepth, but hey, I'm a thirsty succubus for Lilith, what can I say?

A good starting point for those looking for rituals to work with Lilith.

So much for trying to learn more about mother Lilith. The author is too busy focusing on courses that they sell to give any true information on the history of Lilith. You would learn more on a quick Google search.

I didn't think and felt this was a real dedication to Lilith. It was fast rambling imo about how other religions portrayed Her and then there are rituals you can do for and with Her. Which is nice. The rituals in it can be very workable but I sincerely wouldn't recommend doing them with only the information this author has written about Her. Also the constant self promotion, the 'if you want to know more buy this book' 'if you want to see more go to my website', I get it, you need to self promote but it was a bit of a disappointment because I expected more of to read about the dedicational side of Lilith and how She is so much more then a "hated demon" and whatsoever, not what She deserves at all.

Good book. A *very* short read with a bit of everything. If you're a beginner, the first part goes over some basics that will make understanding other works way more manageable and will spare you a few google searches (the rituals are obviously NOT suitable for someone just starting out).

NOTE: the prayer is missing a verse (traccio il tuo sigillo che spalanca le porte dell’ignoto; Lilith zorha echidna), and the very last part is mistranslated. Though it would mean "embraces" in a literal sense, the word "amplessi" in this context is an euphemism for intercourse. You're not asking Lilith to consume you in her embrace, you're asking for her to share her intercouses with you.

The first half of the book collected the lore around Lilith, which I found interesting and will use as a starting point for further reading. The second half was repetitive, giving mostly the same ritual with minor tweaks to plug in, based upon intention, but titled as distinct rituals. That could've been done more succinctly.

This is the worst writing i could ever seen. Don’t recommend it to anyone. At least I wasn't scammed on big money. The book is pretty much copy and paste any information found on internet. No bibliography at all. But you can find plenty of links to online courses and other authors books.

An okay beginner book on Lilith. Very redundant at the end. I would have liked more background on Lilith and a wider variety of rituals. I was not impressed with the same ritual repeated over and over with minor changes.

I enjoyed the historical information

This is a non biased book full of the historical accounts of Lilith. I enjoyed it but also felt it left out some important details for me. The author explains the many reasons Lilith has been feared, but she doesn't tell us anything about why we would feel drawn to invoke her. What is there to love about Lilith? What is the author personally drawn to about this Goddess?

written pretty badly but still felt the information was valuable. then the term “black magick” was used which rlly turned me off… most of the history of Lilith that was talked about could really be found anywhere & it just felt like an info dump rather than any kind of interesting deep dive. the rituals given in the book are not any working I would do lmao. still glad I read & devoted this time to Lilith, looking forward to reading better books about her. Ave Lilith !! 🖤🐍

A long blog post

This “book” would benefit from an editor, at the very least. I could write a negative review longer than this publication. Since I’ve already wasted my time reading this, I don’t think I will waste any more reviewing it in detail. Reader, beware: a Google search would yield more information, presented better, than this garbage.

I was once called a "Daughter of Lilith"...

The person meant it as an insult, but I found it comical. I've always felt there is more to Lilith than the stories and myths that are floating around about her. Hence my interest in this book. I wasn't disappointed.

Quick read

The book was quick to read and skimmed over the history of Lilith. The rituals were easy to follow since they were mostly the same with a few changes depending on which one you used.

Info plus

Very informative. This explained a few questions I had about Lilith. Were a person looking toward this belief as their own, this book would b a decent jumping off point.

It's been years since I've worked with Lilith but this refresher on her was amazing and had a few facts I was unaware of. Great read

great idea needs work

This book is in dire need of an editor. Each mistake breaks the flow and focus. The rituals appear to be simple and effective.

Loved it!!!!!

I never knew this practice or magick was really true, let alone held much meaning ! I only recall as a young child seeing the figure standing at my door, I could not breathe, move , or scream ! I know I survived, the next morning was just the same as any other day !

the book has a lot of good information and the rituals are precise however I read this in an audiobook format which was read by the author. unlike his other audiobook it did go in depth better and the material was presented in a cleaner fashion. the one drawback was that the author himself read this book. he should not have done that. I also wish this book was longer and had gone into more detail and covered more topics.
