This was so awesome! I liked that no mystery or debt was left over. Everybody got what they needed, and what they deserved in the conclusion. I really thought Julius was going to propose to Mallory at the Italian restaurant and sign the inheritance to her or something lol. I completely forgot about the stipulation of accruing debt, and they visited the bank and its purpose. This was the best novel out of all the ones I've read so far. I'm sure I'm gonna out do this review with the next one of the several novels I got to read on my to-read list under your bookshelf.

I enjoyed the book, and the character of Julius. Several things bothered me, though. Julius just deserted his friends from the beginning of the story. What happened to them? And we never got a "real" explanation of how the "grifter" did what he did. Like the book was trying to be supernatural, which I get, but didn't get into that part enough for me. But it was a quick, relatively enjoyable read on a lazy weekend.

Who conned who?

Good book, interesting plot line, well rounded characters. I' m surprised I enjoyed it as much as I have. The only part I wasn't completlely happy with was the ending. The main character did a complete about face in regards to his personality. The story Became a bit unbelivable. Other than that it was enjoyable.

Good mystery

Easy to read with very believable characters. I felt like the book ended with all characters left hanging.
I wanted to know what happened to characters after case was solved.

I did enjoy this thoroughly but I did wonder what happened to his friends. And at the end I was confused what happened to the bar owner? Was that a sanctioned kill. Also, if Julius was under FBI protection, he would not be allowed to walk to the store alone. Too many open links. Otherwise, I did enjoy and would recommend, but tie up the loose ends.
