After researching through blogs, books and YouTube, Rebecca grabs a pack to join one. Initially, the author sought to write this book for those who would not be able to walk, describing the terrain and the villages, but what starts out like a guided tour, quickly turns into an adventure, as walking alone often does.
Read about how the Camino changes a light-hearted traveler into a soul searching pilgrim. Neverlost4good does get lost, often misplacing her poles and pack while learning how to manage the trail. Every story from the Camino de Santiago is different, because it is never the same walk for anyone. This book includes photos from the trail, interesting alternatives in completing the journey and humorous situations. Enjoy the book and don't be surprised to find yourself looking into traveling to Spain yourself one day. Warning: this walk will change your life!
Having recently walked the first stretch of the Camino Frances this book was brilliant! We only reached Estella, and we are returning this October to walk a further two weeks (hopefully to Burgos). The stories certainly put a smile on my face and if I closed my eyes then I would be instantly transported back to Spain. I've made lots of notes, places to stay and spend time, but more importantly, places not to stay!
If you have walked the Camino, or thought about it then this book is recommended.
I enjoyed reading Rebecca’s journey including her insights & the clarity on life she received. May we all have an opportunity to experience something so life changing.
Really enjoyed this book. I have walked the Camino three times but never tire of reading others stories. This one just brought me back to Spain. I am not lying in bed reading this, I am walking the trails with you Rebecca
