After waiting awhile to finish this series I was not disappointed this last book was off the chain. I really enjoyed how the scenes flowed whenever the book ended the new book started at that point. This series so reminded me of real life battles that we deal with everyday. The ending was great that's how you end a series. I would highly recommend this series to everyone to read. Well done De'Nesha Diamond well done.

Man, I am really sad that its over. I've enjoyed this series so much and grew to really love the residents of Ruby Cove and Shotgun Row. The ending shocked me but it was a good shock for sure. I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I'll just say- I am so glad I picked this up and got all up into the series. I legit, had to get a pen and paper and kinda do a family tree for all these relations going on though, lol like everybody was damn near related in some crazy way and it got confusing at times to keep up but all in all these were some really good reads to me and judging by the end-end we can hopefully expect some even crazier shit with the new generation. Shocking indeed!

The end of the road

De’nesha ended this series with lots of twists and turns and secrets revealed. Even though this isn’t my favorite book in the series, I still enjoyed reading about Shotgun Row. I am glad the series is ending and that the author isn’t trying to drag out this series. This is definitely a must read series.

It was difficult to get through this book but I'm glad that Fat Ace/Mason & Python know that they are brothers right before that ending for one of them occurred.
So sorry for what Happened to Cleo & later her brother, who went out the way that he chose: in a hail of bullets by cops.
Diesel got what was coming to him; too bad that his wife, who helped him drug & rape Cleo (WHAT KIND OF FEMALE SITS & WATCHES THEIR HUSBAND SA A SLEEPING FEMALE WHO COULDN'T GIVE CONSENT?!) got away scott free from punishment.
Thought that it was odd that King Isaac THOUGHT THAT Cleo's visit to Mama Peaches house was there to try to get with his old ass. It was a good thing that the pastor came through with that security tape to show King Isaac & Cleo who really shot & eventually killed Mama Peaches (SPOILER ALERT: TWO PEOPLE Josie & Diesel shot & killed Mama Peaches)!
I was glad that Profit got the blessing of his older "brother" Mason to move past the gang gang lifestyle so as he could attempt to have a life with a wheelchair-bound TaShara, who was leaving Tennessee for Texas to star her life anew! Proving that love wins in the end for Profit & TaShara!
THE SAME COULD VERY WELL BE SAID FOR MASON & WILLOW TOO! SO GLAD THAT WILLOW FOUGHT THROUGH IT & OPENED HER EYES JUST BEFORE HER MOTHER ALMOST ALLOWED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS TO CLOSE HER EYES FOREVER WHERE I'M SURE SHE WOULD'VE MET THE REAL LUCIFER IN THE HEREAFTER!
THE KIDS NOT KNOWING WHAT READERS KNOW.... LAWD, LAWD, THAT ENDING REQUIRES A 7TH BOOK!

The story picked up immediately where King Divas left off. The author has this fantastic ability to overwhelm you with activity without any actual movement occurring with the actual story. The story started and ended strong amid a flurry of activity, but the middle lulled quite a bit. You would not notice with the smoke screens thrown up to make you think something is happening. I was surprised that the people who were front in center for all of the previous stories, essentially were relegated to second string players. The next steps remain to be seen.

Random thoughts –
*I thought the ending was fitting for the gang lords association with each other.
*Profit remained my favorite character throughout the series. I was not happy with whom he chose for a HEA, but oh well.
*Hydeah-I’m still not sure what her purpose was in this series.

Finally it all comes together! We finally get to find out what Python, Fat Ace and all of their crews get in the end. Who comes out on top & who loses. I liked the way the series ended. Seems like it's starting all over again with the new kids

Another good read, I'm happy with the way it ended☺️. But I'm wondering will it continue with the younger children who were mentioned near the end of the book?

I wish all the books were audio versions but sadly I could only find 3 of the books in the series via audiobook with Sac Library. I enjoy listening to this story via audiobook, and even though I didn't finish or read the previous two books in the series, this book starts off explaining what transpired and leads up to the incidents now.

Disclaimer: I borrowed a copy from the library and giving my honest opinion of the read. (I've purchased 3 books of the 7 book series at our library. Books 3-5. I see book 2 at another library and ordering it for ours as well as book 6; however, I have not been successful to find book 1.)

The Finale…..I was not disappointed with this last book. As usually the story picked up right where it left off in the last book. There were so many twists and turns that you were just overwhelmed but in a good way. Secrets were revealed and I was really surprised how much Python has changed from the beginning of the series. Diesel that demon got off too easy but at least he got dropped. But the one thing I will say, I missed my favorite character Lucifer in this book…I was praying to find another book just with Lucifer on her life and her baby with Mason…
This was a great read….the whole series was FANTASTIC! I’m sad to see the series is over. I will definitely be reading more of her books because the writing is awesome.

So I want to give this a 4 so bad. This is a 3.5 rating.
The first 17 chapters was a total review of the previous installment. That is why I cannot give this the 4.
I can't give it a 5 because I can't give it a 4 lol! And for another reason I will explain later.
Now the props: De' Neesha can flat write so don't let this 3 star review fool you. The character development is amazing. How many writers can take a supporting cast member and give them a chapter and develop them in no time flat? This book contained a few side characters that entertained without taking over. Just as the last installment she kept it sensible and didn't reach as she has in the past but the reaching is really what got us here...
There was the raw sexual material that was actually deviant and need I say perverted but was true to the character profile. I had to push past that. Normally, Diamond locks you into a sex scene by delivering pertinent information during the act but not so much here. I've never been a fan of the sex that unfolds in this series and not that I don't appreciate a great hot and heavy scene but this installment actually tamped way down over all except for that one that I'm referring to in which I had to pass on. The intimate sex between the leads are not really in this one but there was one with my favorite couple Tashara and Prophet that was ok but not great.
What really disappointed in this one for me was I felt as if Diamond was sick of her leads and didn't really put much into their stories especially at the end. I do keep in mind she was probably limited by word count restrictions and what not. There were several times when I thought that something could've further developed and I won't list that here as to not give any spoilers.
Diamond can end chapters phenomenally but ending this story was meh... But ya gotta finish the series right ? Not sure about what she has coming next but she can write this genre with the best of them. I put something else down to read this and finished this.

Not as action pack, but a lot of secrets are reveled. Python has changed so much from the first book, glad he was able to get his burdens off of his chest. Diesel got everything he deserved if not he needed more. I missed Lucifer so much in this read, we don't know what happens to the Kripettes and their gang....
Its said that its the last book of the series yet the ending has me feeling otherwise. Jayson reminds me of Mason and his features, hopefully it doesn't come out that he cheated on Lucifer who 9/10 has tried to change her ways due to her having children. But she still doesn't know her family secret. Neffertti may try to get revenge and it may tell the story of the new and upcoming Gs and Vice Lords but who knows...I hope she comes out w/ a sequel lord knows ill buy it.

Queen Divas By De'nesha Diamond . This book about Ta' Shara Murphy's Trial and Tribulations. Murder, Mayhem, Lies, and So much Lies. This was a great read Lucifer Washington got attack in her home kidnapped had her son had a arruseyum went in a coma for 7 months. Cleo Blackmon Essence older sister she get suck into Diesel Carver web lies about the music business he turned to be a snake in the grass who drug her and rape her. It was touch and go with Profit and Ta' Shara she wasn't about that life she got pulled into Profit life style and turned into a killer. Python and Mason was still at war come to find out they are brothers. Mason finds out Hydeya Hawkins King Isaac is father.

Where do I start?
First, I'm so sorry this series has come to an end. I was suffering from withdrawal between books. But, each book was beyond satisfying.
I won't say too much more.
I liked that the characters are nuanced. Not one dimensional. LeShelle and Python... Products of their circumstances and environment.
I really like Profit, Ta'Shara and Cleo. I missed the point of view of Peaches.
The twists, turns and revelations were just right. Not too many and not confusing.
I'm hoping the very last chapter means the start of a new series.

Loved the storyline...

I liked the beginning details of the characters in the story. There were many to follow and keep straight. The beginning was a little slow but omg the story quickly accelerated to warp speed and I could not but the book down. Seeing the connectedness of the characters and some misconceptions of what people think they know about you. Just like real life. Reading this book was like watching a movie. Kudos to the author!

The Author is an OG

I'm a longtime fan of Ms. Diamond's work; this series surpasses even my favorites. Don't let the gang banging deter you, the subplots are juicy, and thrilling. For once I actually was surprised at the ending, a nice change from the flood of urban fare being presented lately.

Honestly, this series is worth every penny.

I love De'nesha Diamond for keeping it real. This I'm sure has to be the end Of this series. I was shocked at the turn of events that took place, but I knew it needed to happen. I'm so glad that I was able to read this book. If you have been reading this series, you will be able to finally get some answers to the previous book.

I can't believe it over

I absolutely loved it although I felt like the stolen baby jayson should've been found before things happened to python and python should've known truth about Isabelle but over all I loved it sad to see it end

We return to the front streets of Memphis, where the women are treacherous yet beautiful, and ride-or-die for their men. This installment was a little slower than the others, but I enjoyed it just the same. I can't wait to see what De'Nesha Diamond has planned for her readers next.

Love the climactic ending. And even though the series has ended there was a shocking glimpse into the future. Hard to say who is the Queen Diva. Tashara and Lucifer although damaged from tramatic events have both fared in different ways.

As far as ghetto fiction goes, this maybe the best series I've ever read. Even though this was the weakest of the books, it was still a good read.
