Dane Blaise, ex-special ops and Shana George, an ex-Scotland Yard detective run Beachcomber Investigations. Dane got a coded distress message from an old CIA friend, Oscar. Dane couldn't ignore the message so he and Shana went to help even though he had a bad feeling about it. They ended up walking into a trap.

This is a great book with constant action in very dangerous situations. I liked the plot and found it to be a very exciting escape that I didn't want to end. Stephanie Queen is a very illustrative writer making it easy to picture the events taking place. The book is a great read and definitely captures the reader in the story line, but that wouldn't work if she didn't have good characters. Dane and Shana are such strong individuals who work well together even with the romantic tension between them. I love this pair.

Even though I hadn't read the other books in this series I didn't have any trouble following it but I REALLY want to read all of them now. I'm so glad I received this book in exchange for an honest review and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes suspense, romance and on-the-edge-of-your-seat drama all wrapped into one book.

Beachcomber Trouble sees Dane receiving a distress message from an old friend, but as this runs deep they are unsure who they can trust and will have them questioning just who is on the right side. Unfortunately things go from bad to worse and they question if they will be able to help or not whilst keeping themselves safe. Dane and Shana never let me down and the romantic tension between them continues like a slow sizzling stew.

I can’t read anymore of this series without Dane and Shana getting together. It is pure torture and completely distracts me from the storyline!

I loved this book! Actually, I love the whole series. This has our favorite PI partners, Dane and Shana, in trouble after receiving Dane receives a coded distress message from Oscar, an old CIA friend of Dane's. They're not sure who to trust, but proceed in an effort to help Oscar. Before long, things were much worse, stressing their team and having them question the loyalty of other operatives.

This is a fast moving story that grabbed my attention from the first page and held it until the very last page - it is romantic suspense at its best. I loved the romantic tension between Dane and Shana and getting a glimpse into Dane's mind and his perspective on their relationship. I was sorry when the book ended and am already looking forward to the next book.

Fans of the genre will love this book. While it is part of a series, it is a stand alone novel. However, the series is so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.

I enjoyed this story that is filled with action, danger and a connection between Dane and Shana that has me wanting more! I am new to the Beachcomber series so I am unfamiliar with the characters from the previous stories. I was still able to follow the story and connect with the characters but I definitely will be reading the other books so that I can get the full sense of all of their histories together. I love the draw that Dane and Shana have to each other even though they are both fighting it. Definitely worth the read and looking forward to the next book!

This chapter in the saga of Dane and Shana is the best one yet. In this sixth of the series, we find a riveting plot, a lot of fast moving action, and all the main characters get involved to bring down an agent gone rogue. I was captured at the first page and couldn’t let go until I reached the last. As the Dane and Shana story continues to evolve, they become much more interesting characters that survive on more than their looks and desire for each other. Queen is taking this series to new heights and I can only hope it continues, and will eventually find a resolution for the Dane and Shana dilemma.

A good book in the Beachcomber Investigations series. In this story Dane gets a call from his old buddy Oscar. While he is trying to find out what is going on Shana is kidnapped and most likely taken to Brazil by the Taveres brothers in retaliation for bringing down their human trafficking operation. Dane organizes a trip to go to Brazil and rescue her. What is Oscar up to in Brazil? As usual this book contains plenty of sexual tension between Dane and Shana.
