After seeing several images of a dragon, Brenda and the team find themselves involved with a dangerous group . . . and even more dangerous possibilities.
Bill Myers was born into a Christian home, and although as a child he became bored with Christianity, he decided at the University of Washington quote, to "make God my boss." Ironically, at the University his worst subject was writing. He claims to have prayed, and said that he would be able to do anything for God, except write. Even so, he has become a prominent Christian writer, and has a large amount of successful books and films to his credit.
Do you want a quick, and a delightfully creepy science fiction book to read? If so, this is the book for you! As with the other books in the Harbingers series, this book had a mix of science fiction, action, and some spiritual warfare. This book introduces a new character (Chad), who has some adventures with the other main characters in the series (I won't give any spoilers!). This was a fun, quick read!
Piercing the Veil by Bill Myers continues the Harbingers journey, this time in Las Vegas with Brenda, Andi and Tank. This is where they meet Chad. I think he'll be an interesting addition to the group, however a little arrogant and annoying. I really liked Piercing the Veil and am now off to continue my adventures with Home Base by Jeff Gerke.
Brenda, Andi and Tank are sent on their next adventure. To Las Vegas. And here they meet Chad, a young very confident man, who appears to know all about them. And the Professor. And The Gate.
Chad also possesses a rare talent. One that the Professor lectured about in his final speech the day he disappeared.
Chad introduces Brenda to it and some strange things occur to them both.
Is Chad our new 4th member? I'm guessing so. But we'll have to wait till next time to find out.
This series is my FAVORITE...just like a good TV show it keeps me on my toes, ready for the next episode. I love that the authors take turns writing each book. Tank...you're my favorite.
